From the web.xml file after I have finished deployment for the jpdk.ear file, I found the following lines:

What's the effect of setting this parameter?

This is a required configuration step if your portlets want to use invalidation based caching.
The PDK contains sample portlets using invalidation based caching, that's why this entry in web.xml.

Clearly there are some applications I need to remove and no doubt my HD could do with a 'spring clean'. My Mac 'Safe Booted' when I turned it on this morning.
I use many different softwares, some web-based. The decision to upgrade to OSX Yosemite is because I was unable to attend a Webinar this week using GoToMeeting downloadable software. GoToMeeting have upgraded their system and my OS is no longer supported. Other websites like VImeo no longer support my version of Safari. I tend to use Chrome if Safari isn't compatible.
Problem description:

However I have noticed that my MacBook Pro becoming ‘slow’ over the last 3 weeks and therefore might have some issues that need to be resolved before I even consider installing OSX Yosemite. Cookies are small files that contain information useful to a web site -- such as password, preferences, last date visited, etc. You may remove the cookies that you don't want adn since some of them are a privacy issue, many people remove them all.
Cache is just a collection of data downloaded to help display a web page. After you leave a site, much of the cache is left on your computer and is no longer needed. You can always remove the cache because it will be replaced as needed.

I would like to change my regular email service provider and instead use only my new gmail address. My apple id is the same as my regular soon to be replaced email address. I understand that in the past you could not change your apple id but you could change the email address associated with the apple id. However now it seems that you can change your apple id and by this I dont mean getting a new one, I simply mean editing the old one and infact Apple encourages people to make sure that their Apple id and email address are the same. So, my questions is considering the fact that I own multiple Apple devices (iPhone, iMac and iPad), what will the implications be of doing this and what do I need to consider before I change my Apple id to my new Gmail address? I know for example that apps are apparently permanently associated with a single Apple id so I guess I will have to redownload and pay for them. But what do I need to do on my iPhone, iMac and iPad to make sure that iMessage, iCloud etc is unaffected and continue to work properly. I guess for a start I need to tell everyone who communicates with me via iMessage that they have to use a new Apple id for example. I am worried that a change like this will cause mayhem among my devices and I'll regret it. Right now I have kept my old Apple id and simply added an alternate email address to my account that being my new Gmail address. Maybe its simpler to keep it this way. I am having trouble when my Edge Animate composition (banner ad) appears on a web page that uses jquery version 1.8.23. Some of the functionality of the host page no longer works. This occurs only when my composition is present & the functionality returns when another ad is displayed (either a Flash ad or a gif). It happens in Chrome Version 31.0.1650.63 m, Chrome Version 33.0.1738.0 canary & IE 11.
I had edited my Edge Animate files to use the Adobe CDN option & to point to another server (mine) so only the html file was needed to be placed in the ad rotator & on the host's server. I now have edited them again to include the Google CDN locations for version jquery 1.10.2 (http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.10.2/jquery.min.js). I am waiting for the host site to try this updated html file. When I visit just this new page & the old one that pointed to 1.7.1 for that matter, it works fine.

It does the same thing. The only difference is that the pref is active only when the QT player is active. So the gamma is not effected in other parts of the system.

We are changing monthly as per our Company Policy. There is no problem, but yes if it is used some where e.g. for ftp (we are using) there you need to change.

My Business is having many plants with different business
eg :- One Plant (1000)MRP is currently being executed at Project Level MD51
Second Plant (2000) MRP is currently being executed at Plant Level ,
Third Plant (3000) is currently being executed at materail levels only (MD02/MD03)
Issue :-
for our new scenario we need to execute MRP at MRP Area only -- Storage location MRP run
So we would have to activate MRP @ MRP area level , but doing so

Hello Tallha
The only visible impact is that you will have an extra field on MD04 and another MRP transactions.
If you simply activate MRP areas but don't create MRP areas for the materials, your process will not change and you should be able to continue using MRP as you were using before.
There is a positive impact on the conversion of the planning file may improve the MRP general performance.

Primary Tcode is RSRT.
Go mto RSRT and give your query name and select exceute _ debug.
Then you will get a lots of options to run the report.
Caching will set uo thru SPRO. Work with your Basis for this.

the client i am working for has a financial yr from March to Feb.
What would be the implications in terms of changes required if I change the usually followed Apr - Mar financial year in SAP to Mar - Feb in Payroll? And what implication will this have on all the legal reports provided by SAP like form 16 etc.
Specifically I wish to ask should I ask the client to change his financial yr to Apr - Mar or should I change financial year in SAP to Mar - Feb?

A printing vi gave error,what's the meaning of "refmum invalid"

i modified my program which used to print out only 3 of my 9 graphs, now the program gave an error :code 1055, refnum invalid. can anybody help me to see what's wrong with my printing vi.

I don't think anything is wrong with it. I think that you are not passing in a reference correctly for one of your graph references. Once I cleaned it up a little, it looks like it should be working properly. Maybe you can run it with execution highlighting turned on to find out which refnum is invalid.
