What's the included warranty on HP monitors?

I've searched and can only find the price and conditions of the extended warranty on an HP monitor. Where can I find the standard aka the included warranty?
Also, what's considered too many dead pixels and thus able to return a monitor.

I want to give an update to my purchase. I now have the HP 2511x and I love it. I mean Love it. I had a 24" Dell ST2420L for 2 months and it kept going into sleep even while using the desktop. I went through Dell's tech support, did lots of tests, replaced cables, moved the monitor to another system and it was determined to be bad. I was never really thrilled with the color on that monitor. So I purchased the HP 2511x and set it up next to the Dell and the difference is night and day. I literally smile looking at the HP 2511x. It's a glossy screen. Matte screens are created by an etching process that dulls the colors to my eyes. I'm in a very bright room, two story windows behind me and I don't see the glare because I'm so happy over the rich color.
Besides loving the color there are a few other differences that make this monitor superior to the ST2420L. The on/off and menu buttons are actual buttons. Try turning off a monitor at night when you can't feel the button. I was so frustrated with trying to locate the Dell's on/off button. Minor, but a welcome upgrade in the HP. Also, if you don't like seeing the light that indicates that the monitor is On, there is a setting to turn off the light. Personally, I like the aqua blue color. The ports on the back are very easy to find, unlike the Dell's. And HP includes all three cables, plus the power cord. Dell only included a VGA cable.
Anyone who has read a review of the HP 2511x having a wobbly base, it could be because the base was put on backwards. I had it backwards on my first try. It's more secure now.

I am trying to add a customer exit for text variables.
I have done variable exits for things like fiscal period but not for customer exit TEXT variables.
I could not find any text variable code in the include ZXRSRU01 .
Please advise what should be the program name?

Customer exit for text variables is also the same how we create customer exits for characterisitics variable. As per the clarity what i got from ur question.
I'll just explain a small program in customer exits which will act as a text variable.
Go to SE38 -->
Display the program ZXRSRU01 --> (This can be done only if you have added the enhancement of the system from CMOD)
Then add ur following case statement to the existing code.
After all the data declarations start ur main program
when 'YEAR_CUST'.

OK so after doing much research... this seems to be the best workflow.
Bring HDV in to FCP as ProRes 422.
Edit show... add bells and whistles, etc.
Export movie as ProRes 422.
Then for the client - ensure that they have latest version of Quicktime and download the Apple ProRes Quicktime Decoder (for mac or Windows). (It is assumed they have a decent computer to play back on.)
The client will then be able to play a movie encoded as proRes 422 and all will be happy.
As a back up a high resolution h264 file can't hurt.

What is the installer task in Activity Monitor

My computer on boot up has 8GB of free HD space, its a Macbook Air 2011. Sometimes, not all the time, i get startup disk almost full, I look at the Disk utility and the 8GB has gone down to MB and eventually reaches zero. Fan is going crazy and it slows down.
I noticed a task called INSTALLER in Activity Monitor.
The only thing I ve done recently is install Firefox.
How can i find out what that Installer process is?

I recommend your first priority is to get at least 15% free disk space. Probably everything will be nice after that.

11R2 What is the best/easy way to monitor workflows?

I have installed the OWF in the database and we can use it from OWB. We can follow the executions from OWB designer or browser.
I think there are other options I have read about:
- EM, but I cannot find a link pointing at WorkFlow.
- Workflow Monitor (installing http server 10.2 and configuring a DAD...), but I wouldn't like to install a 10.2 http server in a new database server unless Workflow Monitor brings something worthwhile.
How do you usually administer/monitor workflows in 11.2.0?

We have used the browser, but it's very limited ... and not too fast...
We were looking for a more complete tool to administer workflows, and don't know if it would be the Workflow monitor, or if in 11.2 there would be another better tool to do it.

What does the included DTS do?

I have a new eXcite Write, updated to Android 4.3.
The enabled "Audio Enhancement" in the configuration has a list of DTS options, I have all of them enabled, and not enabled any of the Toshiba options (Audio Enhancement Pro, etc.)
The device can't play DTS media. Is this expected?
The device can't play the Dolby Digital demo, which uses DD+ (a.k.a. EAC3).
I haven't seen a mention (in the manual, brochure, or any where) to the required license for "Dolby enabled devices". So, what does DTS do on this tablet?

I added it in the hosts file of my front end machine.
But it is still not helping.

What is the Action account type to be created to Workgroup agents in SCOM for monitoring them

I have newly deployed 20 Workgroup Windows server 2008 R2 DMZ machines in our SCOM 2007 R2. We have deployed it using certificates and ever thing is working fine except for the below.
I keep getting the below alert saying "Run as account login check failed" on all the 20 agents.
So i want to know what type of Run as account is to be created for monitoring the Workgroup agents from the below list ?
Also to which all Run as profile do i need to add the account post creating the Run as account so i the agent is fully being monitored ?

Gautam.75801, I use Action Account. As mentioned also make sure your distribute the Action account to the workgroup computers and update the default action account as Roger mentioned.

I have an old 30" apple cinema display (2005) I want to use as a 2nd monitor to a new iMac (2012). I don't just want mirror image of iMac; what's the best way to do this?

I have not bought the iMac yet but will do so very soon and just want to make sure I have what I need to get everything setup including adding the old faithful 2005 30" cinema display. Currently I am driving the old 30" cinema display with a macbook pro also purchased 2005 and happy to say I got a lot of good miles out of this rig. What's the best way to connect the old 30" monitor as a second display for the new generation iMacs?

I can find online new in unopened box a 2012 iMac 27" i7 with 1T Fusion Drive for $1899 no sales tax. This seems like a pretty good deal since I notice the same is available from Apple refurbished for $100 more plus sales tax. I know that they say the Fusion drive is a lot faster on 2013 models but some of the speed tests I reviewed online showed the 2012 i7 and 2013 i7 very close on speed for both storage and processing. Any thoughts?
I don't like changing batteries so I would buy a separate Apple keyboard with numeric pad since it only comes with wireless keyboard. I'm a trackpad enthusiast having been using my macbook pro trackpad with current set up; and I am prepared to buy the Apple trackpad and replace batteries every 2 months but I would greatly prefer USB connection and rechargeable trackpact. I know Logitech makes one so if anyone is using and knows how it compares to Apple's I'm all ears.

The AppleCare extended warranty extends the standard one year warranty by two years and includes free telephone support for two years.
The Apple Plus extended warranty does the same and includes some insurance covering accidental damage with a two claim limit with a deductible over the two year period.
