KJava was a little project to develope a JVM for tsmall devices such as cellphone, pda, that have limited memory, processing power, and may or maynot have graphic user interface. basically, they strip down Java and use a VERY small subset of the Java library, and they include a few new library. There is a virtual machine called KVM.
I would suggest you not to pursue KJava but move twoard J2ME. J2ME have the following specification
CLDC
CDC
Foundation Profile
Personal Basic Profile
Personal Profile
MIPD
usually, you will find the following configuration
CLDC and MIDP (usually used for cellphone)
CDC and Personal Profile (usually for PDA - execpt for Palm because Palm memory is rather small..so many use CLDC and MIDP for Palm)

Help : After upgrade to IOS5, I only can use my iphone 3gs in Spore instead of Msia. Any1 know what is the problem & how to solve it?!

If it automatically restarts the phone firmware is corrupt. Restore the phone with iTunes and set up as a new phone, do not restore your backup, which is likely where the corruption is. If it then works you can try restoring just the backup. If that breaks it again you know where the problem is; you will have to start over and manually reinstall your content.
To restore just the backup, right click on the phone's name in iTunes and select "restore from backup"

Hopefully you left Apple your contact info (name phone #, email address).
Apple would simply pass your contact to the last registered owner. It would be up to the owner to contact you. As Dave mentioned, Apple will not give you any info (except may to tell you it was or was not registered, but not to who). Turn it on once in a while and maybe they have activated FindMyiPad and a message will pop up (don't need to be logged onto the iPad to a message).

That is a plastic antenna cover that allow wifi and bluetooth radio waves to pass through. They can't pass through metal.

There used to be this thing called the Activity Window in Safari that would make it easy to show the files (like audio files) in a web page. That doesn't exist any more but in the Develop Menu there is Show Page Resources that can do the same thing.

Sometimes in Safari when you hold your finger over something a little pop-up comes up and it says ACTION. (???)
Also, how do you drag and drop things while you are on a web page? It will grab but as soon as you start to drag it assumes that you want to navigate on the web page and moves you. I gave up trying and assumed that it can't be done.

By the by, I think the iTouch is a gift from GOD. I am using it to study on the go. I have converted some notes into .png and some flashcards as well and am studying like that. I have compiled 700 GRE/SAT vocab flash cards on .png if you want them contact me and I'll email them (11.5 MB).

The action pop up indicates what type of feature you are holding your finger on. This means that if you hold it over a button it will make an 'Action'. If its on an email link it will pop up with a short overview of the description etc...
You cannot drag and drop using the iPod Touch.

Look, virtually all Mozilla's potential users are coming from Internet Exploder, which gets this ALMOST RIGHT, while FireF*x does it totally wrong. Including in webmail: there's no way I could have got to this forum without leaving 4 windows active or closing everything, including closing my mail without logging out.
ONLY 8 PEOPLE? How many thousand simply throw up their hands & uninstall yr f- nurdware over this one single issue? Not to bore you with details, but I'm hardly unsympathetic to open sources that don't look like the best argument for Micros**t and Google hegemony.
Btw, I said they get it -almost- right... It would be really nice if IE or >somebody< offered a checkbox to NEVER close multiple tabs. Look, if this bug disguised as a feature is useful to a few nurds by all means keep it as an advanced option, but PLEASE set up FireFox so it at least defaults to the real world.

I shut down firefox one day and when i started it back up all the tabs i had open from last session are still there.never used to be like that now every time i open the browser there are about nine of them..how do i prevent this?

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

What kind of a camcorder you can advise me to buy for about $1000? Whether new, refurbished or used. The one which uses miniDv tapes.

I have used a camera service and repair shop for years. This guy used to be a highly acclaimed lead engineer in Sony's Professional Division, who now runs his own shop and performs all the maintenance, service and repair for a number of broadcasters and TV stations, as well as consumers and professionals. He gets all kinds of cameras and decks in his shop, so he has a very broad experience and sees all kinds of causes for problems.
One is often surprised of the myriad of causes for severe problems one can have with a camera that really looks in pristine condition. Stupid little things like a filter thread on the lens that is ruined, the mini mic connector, that is bent internally, moist that corroded the audio board, salt water spray that ruined the i-Link connector, worn-out drums or heads, head clogging on tape based cameras, overloaded audio connectors that cause a hiss, etc.
There can be so many small but bothersome things with a used camera that looks as if it is brand new, and are very dificult to discern. Example of a used Sony Z1. Looks superb, drum and head hours are OK and looks good. No visible damage, test shows it works without problems, but how do you find the the mic suspension has once been broken and replaced, but not with the original screws, but a size larger. On the Z1 this is a weak point. Now if you break it again and get a replacement, you find out that the original screw size does no longer fit. Minor problem, but it may require additional parts to get it back in original condition. Or you may find out that there are dead pixels on the LCD screen, or one of the sensors has been burned in by shooting an sunrise just a bit late, or the lens is slightly misaligned due to heavy force when removing a filter, etc.
A camera left in the sun in a car and getting very hot, which reduced the life span of the disk, a Monday morning hard disk that developed a number of bad sectors, a camera used at the Niagara Falls in the spray causing internal corrosion, used in the rain without a rainslicker, all these things can not be determined by a visual inspection.
I'm not saying there are no good used cameras, I'm saying you have to be very careful if you want to buy a used camera and ideally you would have a good service shop do a complete inspection of the camera and advising you whether it is worth the asking price, like one does when buying a used car.
To continue the Z1 example. I was on a sailing trip, island hopping in the Caribbean and the accessory shoe on the camera came loose, you still have 6 days before you can find a local shop if you can find one to repair it on Jost van **** or Virgin Gorda or Saba. So you try to repair it on board with limited tools and means. Nail polish and loctite were temporay solutions, but when one wants to remove the screws that were fastened with loctite on board, you have a problem. You don't see it until it is too late. Hidden limitations that a seller usually does not tell you.
Personally I prefer to save a bit longer and buy new.

So What Is the Story In General About Windows 7 and the HP C7280?

It doesn't seem like HP wants to support the C7280 well. There are v12 drivers/software still missing for this printer. I have unresolved issues concerning wireless and ink cartridge levels. And now there is the prospect of migrating to Windows 7 and what will that bring? I'm pretty sure at this point now that if HP remains behind in supporting this printer I will be dropping them. I'm also pretty sure I will be resisting going to Windows 7 for as long as I can.

Yes, the printer doesnt need v.12 software. IMO it works just fine with v.10, which is the latest one for it. And if anyone does need the v.12 software, then i have mentioned how to do it. Maybe the engineers are too busy testing and developing the Windows 7 drivers that they've sidelined updating printers to v.12.
I'm going to mention this one again: The C7280 is NOT obsolete. It probably will be in about 2 years or so. But right now, this is definitely NOT obsolete.

What is this thing called "OTHER". It's taking up all my gbs. & I can not access the files in "OTHER" to clear them or just to access them. So does anybody know what "OTHER" is? Other can be Album Artwork, Notes, Contacts, Firmware etc. or files that are on there if you are using the iPod as a removable storage device. If you feel that Other is being incorrectly reported then try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions and it should connect to iTunes and give you a prompt to automatically update your library onto the fresh installation. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists choose no and it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes 7
