What`s the maximum wireless range? (how many feet?)

i`d keep search for this features through the whole website in apple.com and the reviews from other websites. But, there isn`t any may solve my question. Is there anyone can help me? i hope to know that how far range for the airport extreme 802.11n can reach to. Thank you.

unclebiscuit, Welcome to the discussion area!
The maximum range for 802.11b/g is 50 meters.
Apple advertises that the square AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS) has "...up to twice the range of networks created with the earlier 802.11g standard."

    Hi Jessica,
    Here's my take on it, using the sample data in your original post, and using the same solution with the names in your question.
    In the Data table, column A contains the list of numbers in your original post. I've rearranged them in random order to demonstrate that the order of entry does not matter for this method.
    Data::Column B contains the names in your question, each assigned to one of the numbers in the body of your post.
    Column C contains an index showing the first occurrence of each distinct number in Column A. This index is used to fill both columns in the Summary by Number table.
    Column D contains an index showing the first occurrence of each distinct name in Column Bt. This index is used to fill both columns in the Summary by Number table.
    Both formulas are the same, except for the columns referenced (highlighted in the second formula below).
    Formula: Data::C2: =IF(COUNTIF($A$2:A2,A2)=1,MAX(C$1:C1)+1,"")
    Formula: Data::D2: =IF(COUNTIF($B$2:B2,B2)=1,MAX(D$1:D1)+1,"")
    Both formulas require that row 1 be a Header Row, and that the contents of C1 (and D1) be Text, nothing, or a zero. Both formulas are filled to the end of their respective columns.
    Summary by Number contains two formulas.
    A2: =IF((ROW()-1)>MAX(Data :: $C),"",LOOKUP(ROW()-1,Data :: $C,Data :: $A))
    B2: =IF(LEN(A2)>0,COUNTIF(Data :: A,A2),"")
    Both are filled down to the end of their respective columns.
    The first formula checks if its row number minus 1 is greater than the maximum value in the index column. If that is TRUE, there are no more values to look up, and the formula returns an empty string (which appears 'blank'). If it is FALSE, the LOOKUP the value in Data::column A corresponding to the value of ROW()-1 in Data::column C.
    The second formula checks the LENgth of the entry in the column to its left. If the length is greater that 0 characters, there is a countable value in the cell, and the formula passes control to COUNTIF, which counts the number of times that value is found in Data::column A. If the length of the value in the cell to the left is zero, then the cell contains an empty string, and the formula passes control to the part after the last comma, which enters an empty string in the cell containing the formula.
    The formulas in Summary by Name are identical to these except for the (bolded) references. These are incremented to the right; C -> D, and A -> B to match the Data:: columns containing the names and the names index.

  • What is the maximum filesize for a FTP Adapter?

    I have xml files with 1000's of records to read in. The file size can range anywhere from a few MB up to ~100MB. Most of them are about 50 MB.
    The FTP adapter works when I have a small file, but with larger ones it apparently times out. Once it runs into a big file like this, it won't process any more files until I restart the process. It doesn't show any faults or even any record of a running instance in the BPEL Console, so I have no idea specifically when it breaks. I uploaded a 10MB file to my ftp server and left it for a half hour, but nothing showed up, so I'm assuming it's broken rather than just taking a long time.
    What is the maximum file size for a FTP adapter? Can I change this somewhere? I looked in the ...\application-deployments\default\FtpAdapter\oc4j-ra.xml file but couldn't find any settings to change.

    Well no luck on my end and it doesn't look like anybody else has any ideas either. This thread Re: FTP Adapter, Java Embedding, ... says that if you can't get the functionality you need out of the default one, you should write your own FTP adapter in JCA. I looked at JCA and would like to write a simple polling adapter and then put all my FTP code in embedded java.
    Can somebody explain how I could achieve the basic FTP Adapter polling functionality in JCA? I'm having difficulty figuring out how to have an ongoing polling process without instantiating a BPEL process itself, like the existing FTP adapter does. I don't want to set off on writing my own adapter if it's going to be a much larger undertaking than I have time for.
    Also, is the source code open for the default FTP adapter? It would be great if I could just modify the few things I need to change rather than write one from scratch.

  • What is the maximum size for mailbox per user (Exchange 2007)

    Hello,
    I'd like to know:
    What is the maximum size per mailbox, and is it not recommended to exceed 3 GB and about the items how many is the maximum per folder (inbox, .. )
    I've Exchange 2007 SP2, Outlook 2007 and 2010.
    Thank you.

    Hi
    There is no size limit on mailboxes up to the maximum size of your database.  I normally recommend 2GB mailbox limits if you have some form of archiving in place.  If you have no archiving in place then the limit should be set at the amount of
    data people need to keep - it is not a good idea for people to store mail in PST files because there is a limit on their mailbox.
    See this article for item count recommendations:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/905803
    Also you need to upgrade your Exchange 2007 server to SP3 ... SP2 has been out of support for nearly 3 years already:

  • What's the maximum # of threads?

    Support for asynchronous I/O (in HTTPService and WebService)
    kinda implies that the Player has a thread pool that it gets a
    spare thread from each time I do a send() on one of these
    components. Each allocated thread will block until it gets a
    response. If I don't get any responses (perhaps because it's
    long-lived) how many threads can I obtain from the pool before the
    Player runs out of threads (or is there no maximum or is it a
    start-up parameter)?

    Hi,
    I'm working on a pretty big program and i need a lot of threads to make it run well (it's an audio player and, of course, i don't need people to wait when, for example, they save a playlist). So, i put some of these tasks on different threads, plus others that i didn't need for making the program run faster, but they are there just to make the program run. Now i have at least 4 threads running at the same time and, in some cases, there are even 6 or 7. Is it too much? It's my first big program (it's just for fun but i still want it to run well) and i didn't need so many threads before. What's the maximum number of threads you'd recommend me to have?
    Thanks.Are you experiencing any problems with the number of Threads you have? If not, stop worrying. On the other hand, are you sure you need all of them? There are alternatives to Threading, such as SwingWorker and Timer that might be able to help you out.
    One thing you better make sure of is that you're not doing any Swing work off of the EDT, or doing things like sleeping or time-consuming work on the EDT.

  • What are the maximum no of wad reports in a project

    Hi all,
    what are the maximum no of wad reports in a project.
    can you suggest how many people will work on wad reports  either one or more than one.
    can you provide me example scenerio.
    thanks,
    cheta.

    Hi ,
    The number of WAD Reports depends on your Reporting requirement.
    You can either have one WAD for one Report each. or you can also have more than one report in a single WAD.
    Could you please be more specific in what exactly your requirement is???

  • What are the maximum numbers of parameters that a subvi can be obtained?

    What are the maximum numbers of parameters that a subvi can be obtained?

    I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean. Do you mean to ask how many parameters you can pass to a subVI? That would be a very large number because a connector pane can have a dozen or so terminals--and if each terminal is a cluster... You could pass a very large number indeed.
    Having said that however, you probibly wouldn't want to. Remember the more parameters you're passing the more tightly coupled your code is--and the less reusable the code will probibly be.

    hello friends,
    what is the maximum lines that we can create in a single sales order?
    how about in a sales invoice, how many is the maximum lines?
    thanks!

    There is no limit on the sales order lines, we do have 1800 to 2000 lines sales orders in our system.
    But the AR side the defult value for the Profile option AR: Maximum Lines is 100k, if you anticipate more lines than 100k for each invoice run then you have to modify the profile option.

    Hi,
    I guess that 8 or max 12GB. It depends how many slots. It should support 12GB with 2 memory slots but only 8GB with a single one. The CPU itself supports up to 16GB.

  • What is the maximum rows allowed in PLSQL array table type?

    Hi,
    I have a procedure and it contains the cursor which will fetch more than 500 records. And i have 5 output parameters to store the values coming from the cursor. I don't want to store that into custom table. I want to save it one table type array or something like that. Now i want to know what is the maximum storage of array table type? If i store more than 500 data, how will be the performance? Then is there any other way to achieve this? And that should not decrease the preformace.Let me know your thoughts.
    Thanks

    It really depends on what you are planning to do with the records once you return them from your stored procedure, and what client is on the receiving end of the results.
    One option would be to just return a ref cursor and let the client deal with retreiving the rows themselves, whether one by on or by a bulk collect. Another option would be to declare a table of records matching the result set and do a bulk collect into that table type in your procedure and return the table type to the caller. You could also declare a table type for each field in the resultset, bulk collect the records into thos types and return one for each field.
    Personally, I would likely go with returning a ref cursor. Both of the collect the resultset in your procedure and then return collections to the caller methods require memory on the database server to hold the entire resultset and memeory on the client to hold the entire resultset. While 500 records is probably not going to be too bad on memory, if the result set grows, you will run into memory issues at some point.

  • What's the maximum speed that AirPort Extreme can share with Wifi?

    The thing is that I am going to buy a new Wifi Router, but I was considering an AirPort Extreme from Apple but is not specify what's the maximum speed of Internet connection for the Wifi to share, I know that the limit might depend on my service provider, but I don't know what is the theoretical maximum of the AirPort Extreme, does anybody knows?

    1,000 Mbps on an Ethernet connection
    450 Mbps on a wireless connection, assuming you have a new computer and it has line of sight with the AirPort Extreme. Otherwise, the speed will be lower due to obstructions absorbing the signal.

    Hello guys
    what's the implicit joins and how to configure it? What's the purpose of implicit and explicit joins?
    Please help
    Thank you

    Thus, on my side, I think that :
    Explicit join define the join condition between the key column from the table.
    (table1.di = table2.id)
    While
    Implicit Join define :
    * the type of join outer, inner, ...
    http://gerardnico.com/wiki/dw/join/start
    * And the relationship (one-to-many, cardinality)
    http://gerardnico.com/wiki/dw/data_quality/relationships
    And all this information are used to generate the statement (query).
    And I don't really know why you have two type of key :
    * Physical Foreign Keys
    * Logical Foreign Keys
