What's the Portal bundled with ias 10.1.2.0.2 ? 10.1.2.0.1 or 10.1.2.0.2 ?

My Holy Graal is to upgrade Portal 10.1.4...
OUI claims I'm running

<li>Oracle Application Server 10g 10.1.2.0.2 in one home (AS)</li>
<li>Oracle Portal 10g 10.1.2.0.1 under that same home</li>
</ul>
(I installed the AS home only for the Portal and the install went like a breeze).
However, when I display the [WEB] Enterprise manager home page it says :
Version : 10.1.2.0.2
Installation Type :Portal and Wireless
My install is :

<li>One home with DBMS 10.1.2.0.1</li>
<li>One home with MRCA 10.1.2.0.2</li>
<li>One home wiith OIM 10.1.2.0.2</li>
<li>One home with AS 10.1.2.0.2</li>
</ul>
I was going to go straight to the portal upgrade and decided to look up the exact Portal version number through OUI. I wish I hadn't !!!
Can somebody confirm I do NOT need to apply 10.1.2.1 despite the
<a style="color:#0000ff" href="http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/portal/html/upg_1014_1012_intro.html#SupportedVersions">
Warning</a> on the upgrade page. In other words that the Portal version bundled with ias 10.1.2.0.2 is 10.1.2.0.2 (and that OUI is wrong to claim otherwise).

I've upgraded yesterday night and all went well !
Except that the precheck detected that my repository db's aq_tm_processes was still unset.
I must have changed the current value only at install time (now it's also in the spfile).
 
The good thing is that you can run the upgrade script a second time and that it detects the already successfully executed steps.
So basically found the mrua its shrubbery ;-)

The JCR adpater can be configured against Oracle Content Server(UCM), file system and Oracle Portal. This gives you only the read feature on the repository. However the web center frame work also provides you the Document Library Task flows with both Read/Write capabilities and other capabilities like recent documents, search etc. The task flows can also customized to suit your UI requirements as well. In addition to this there is a content presenter Task flow available where Business Users can display formatted content from UCM on web center page. This is similar to the content presenter portlet available inside WLP.

Can't log in message "what is the username associated with this smartphone"

When I attempt to login to app world, I enter my email address and pw, and the it gives me a popup for - "what is the username associated with this smartphone". How do I find out what to enter here? (I don't remember what I may have used in the past).
Also, how can I be sure that I am using the right email address to login? I've tried my other emails and I get stopped before this screen since it doesn't recognize the email.

There is an old form , which was not in use from many days.
Now when we tried to run the form, i got the error saying "FRM-40734:Internal Error:Pl/SQL error occured.", in the login form.
When i tried to open the fmb file in Oracle Forms Builder 6i, i got the following error:
FRM-10102: Cannot attach PL/SQL library d2kwutil. This library attachment will be lost if the module is saved., but the fmb file got open.
The login button has the following code:

Actually, another person on the "more like this" had the right answer. It meant I had a notification for an invite that I needed to respond to.

Well, I've not seen that one before. In fact I had to click on it so as to read the tiny
text, then it appeared in another window as a .png image... so I retyped it + also
supplied a .jpg of the same image of different size. Too wide: automatically scale.
Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent" has been modified and will not be repaired.
...maybe this is large enough to see without clicking? It probably scaled small.

Could be you need to start from a boot volume, or Recovery partition to repair it.
That is a more detailed way to repair disk & repair disk permissions, unmounted.
Not sure about that SUID thing, though. It may revert after a normal startup.

Dear balaji
Before doing PGI, there will be a preinspection stage where SD will have to integrate with QM. Similarly after sales, whenever there is sales returns, QM will come into picture.
To control the above scenarios, in material master, go to "Quality management" view and click on "Insp.setup" where you need to assign Inspection Types like 04, 06 etc.

which adapter do you want to use? What kind of data do you want to send?
I guess, if you only want to create a sync scenario with a application written in C or CGI, a soap webservice or a call of the http plain adapter would be the best way.

Changing the portal banner with customized banner!

Hi Friends,
I want to change the portal banner with customized banner with logo. So for that, I created a customized banner and named as bg_banner.jpg by renaming the original as bg_banner1.
I modified them in both paths
D:\OracleBI\web\app\res\s_oracle10\b_mozilla_4\ and
D:\OracleBI\oc4j_bi\j2ee\home\applications\analytics\analytics\res\s_oracle10\b_mozilla_4
Also restarted both Presentation Services and OC4J
But still, I'm unable to view my customized banner instead I see the original LOGO missing. But able to view the rest of the banner with standard dashboard links.
Please correct me, where am I missing and do the needful.

Use a copy of the original and paint in this.
Than replace it there:
\bi\web\app\res\s_oracle10\b_mozilla_4
\bi\web\app\res\s_oracle10\b_mozilla_4\rtl
\bi\oc4j_bi\j2ee\home\applications\analytics\analytics\res + rtl.
Perhaps you forgot the \rtl\ banner?
