I have an application written by Visual basic 6.0 and running in SQLserver 2000.
i prepare for migration to Oracle database 8.1.6.
what's the problems of my application when i migrate from SQLserver to Oracle?

Check out the OTN migration center, specifically under Application migration. there is a whitepaper which details the issues which arise and how that Oracle deals with them. There is also a reference guide for the Oracle Migration workbench that will allow you figure out the core difference in language and how they are constructed.

If your account is disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it

I have installed Itunes 10.5 on my PC and I have turned photostream on on my Ipad2 and Iphone. The photos sync fine but they are not showing up on my PC. What's the problem? I can see my photos on my ipad and Iphone. I want to be able to see them on my PC when I take pictures from my Iphone and Ipad. How do I see Photostream on my PC?
You have to install the iCloud control panel for windows, then sign in with you apple ID, and check what you want to sync.

Was that Apple ID and password the original owner of the iPod? If not, try using the Apple ID and password of the original owner.

If you are the only user on your computer you probably don't have multiple user accounts set up and can disregard that. If you are using iTunes 11 go to View>Show Sidebar. Now see if your iPad appears under Devices on the left side when you connect it. If it does, click on the name of your iPad on the left side and your iTunes sync settings options will appear in folders with tabbed headings to the right.

But it can auto sync when i connect it to my old laptop. what's the problem that it can't auto sync and when i did a backup in my new laptop, it was corrupted the next day and i was forced to use back a backup which i did in my old laptop 4 months ago. do i have to reinstall the itunes? will my backups be corrupted after i sync again? pls guide.
P.S/ its the latest version of the itunes whenever i did the backups.iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

What is the problem on MacBook Pro retina 15"?
I just bought a new MacBook Pro retina 15". After unboxing, I turned it on and there was no any problem. But the second time I turned it on and charge battery, I got 2 problems, 1. The machine made noise loudly and 2. The charging is not working. What is the problem on MacBook Pro retina 15"? However, after about 1 hour, it works normally. Should I still use it or sell it before it has more issues?

My MacBook Pro with Lion 10.7.2, only audio on the headset, and speaker mute. With Windows, the audio works in speaker and headphone jack. What is the problem? What's the solution?
There is probably a red light on inside your headphone port, indicating that the analog/digital switch in there is stuck in the digital position. Insert a headphone plug and wigle it around, especially in the horizontal plane, as you insert and remove it several times. This will usually unstick the switch and restore normal operation. If it doesn't, the machine will need to be repaired.
This has been a fairly common problem, but in most cases it is easily cured as described above. -
My Ipod touch is frozen. The screen shows only USB cable with arrow point to the word Itunes. What is the problem? This is the second touch I have had that has this same problem. HELP!
This time try restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod instead of from backup. You may have some corruption that is causing the problem and it may now be in the backup. If the problem persists after restoring to factory defaults/new iPod. then you likely have a hardware problem and ana ppointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

When I start mozilla firefox web browser, sometimes I see a message saying that "a Mozilla Firefox is already running, please close it or restart your system". As a matter of fact, there is no firefox browser running at that time. Since I cannot do anything about it, I have to restart my computer before I can use the web browser, which bothers me dearly. Essentially, the bare issue is that you have a 500GB hard drive with only 10GB free. That is not sufficient to run the system properly. The two options you have are to move/remove files to another location, or to install a larger hard drive (eg 2TB). Drive space has nothing to do with SMC firmware, and usually large media files are to blame.
My first recommendation is this: download and run the free OmniDiskSweeper. This will identify the exact size of all your folders - you can drill down into the subfolders and figure out where your largest culprits are. For example, you might find that your Pictures folder contains both an iPhoto Library and copies that you've brought in from a camera but are outside the iPhoto Library structure. Or perhaps you have a lot of purchased video content in iTunes.
If you find files that you KNOW you do not need, you can delete them. Don't delete them just because you have a backup, since if the backup fails, you will lose all your copies.
Don't worry about "cleaners" for now - they don't save much space and can actually cause problems. Deal with the large file situation first and see how you get on.
Let us know what you find out, and if you manage to get your space back.
