There is a small Port covered by a black tab at the bottom right of the LCD screen on my MVC-FD95 Digital Camera. What's it for? Is it used in any to transfer data (pictures) "From" the camera? Thanks for any help. John
P.S. How do you add pictures to these Forum Posts? I have a picture of the port (connection).

I was not able to find a small Port covered by a black tab at the bottom right of the LCD screen. However; I found a a small Port covered by a black tab at the top right of the LCD screen. That is a minijack for an external flash. Check pages 6 and 7 of the instruction manual. Here is the link to get the instruction manual : http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model- ... FD95&LOC=3

  • What are the different ports required to Deploy(Run) an application in NWDS

    Hi all,
We have a issue here in deploying our application in NWDS. As we are accessing our servers(from another country) thru firewalls in between, most of the ports are blocked for security reasons, henceforth, we are unable to deploy our application in NWDS.
Initially port 3601 was blocked, now its open.when i try to deploy my application , it prompts for a SDM password, after i enter it , it gives me error saying it can't process thru 50018 port.
So my query is , to build, deploy and run or debug  a application in NWDS what are the different ports that needs to be accessable ?( so that i can tell my basis guys that all this specific ports need to be opened )
(Note:  will the SDM port, debug port,Http port be enough to deploy and run an application)
    Need your help on this
    Regards,
    Vijay

    Hi Arun,
Thanks for your reply, as you told port 3601, its already opened. I didnt understand about the 3200,3300,3299. Can u be more clear about why each of this port is used for? ( bcoz i need to give a reason to my Basis guys, what each port is for)
Hope this Log details of the error that I get here helps you:-

  • What are the various ports used by OLT?

Having recently had 'fun' getting a load agent working in our secure LAN, I was wondering if someone could clarify what the various ports are used by/for?
I am aware of the following:
9001 - Actually mentioned when setting up a load agent
1099 - Mentioned when setting up a data collector
1098 - ? necessary for load agent (I'd hazard a guess at this also being Data Collector related)
    4444 - ? necessary for load agent
    7071 - ? necessary for load agent
I have also had the following ports mentioned to me while looking at similar issues (but they did not need opening in my recent excercise):
    7073
    8083
    8088
I have also suggested this information be added to the knowledgebase article (Doc ID: 787226.1) as they may need opening on any firewalls.

I tried to add a perfmon monitor on my local system.
    Monitored system
    HostName: localhost
    username: windows user
    password: windows password
    Domain: windows domain name
    Data Collector
    Name: OLT server
    Hostname: localhost
    Port: 8088
    Username: oats
    Password: *****
    I got this error.

  • What is the small circle near Verizon at top of iPhone?

My phone keeps calling contacts, playing music, trying to FaceTime with contacts, is often unresponsive to home button...Verizon store rep checked it out and said it was 4G "bouncing" they had been doing, and many customers had similar problems.  But he said my phone was fine....now it is not again!  What is the deal?  Both he and I did soft resets, plus I did a hard reset before I even took it in...didn't help.  I also left it powered off for a long time to see if that would do the trick...clearly, it didn't!

The small circle means you are on the slower 1XRTT network. You may be somewhere where you are getting a poor 3G/4G LTE signal, your SIM card my be bad, you may have a hardware issue.
It's hard to understand your description of what troubleshooting took place as there is no such thing as a "hard" or "soft" reset on an iOS device, only a reset (press and hold the Home and power buttons until the silver apple appears) or a restore (wipe the phone back to factory settings). "Bouncing" is not exactly what we'd call a technical term so I've no idea what the rep was trying to say. And no, this is not a particularly common problem with Verizon iPhones. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store and have them take a look at it.

  • What is the small padlock on the top of my iPhone lockscreen?

Hey guys, I am wondering what the small padlock on my lockscreen is, it's directly in the center and it has no arrow around it. The padlock is in the locked position and it has only been that way since I have had trouble turning my keyboard sideways. It used to be unlocked but now it's locked!! Can anyone help me??

I raninto this problem before when it was jailbroken, and the reason was is certain apps I installed from cydia used the processor a lot, which made the phone slow and then when I went to turn the keyboard sideways it didn't recognize it then once I uninstalled it the keyboard and everything else worked fine. So the reason it won't turn sideways is because an iPhone 3G with the iOS 4.1 uses alot of the processor. So it's not any damage, it's just a slow iPhone haha. Thanks for your time any effort, it helped.

  • So what is the USB port for anyways?

I hear that we can not use the USB2 port with Hard drive, so what is it for?

The USB port is intended for internal Apple usage, such as troubleshooting; it is not usable by customers except through hacks.

  • What is the ip port number for a 1st generation airport express

I have recently upgraded my home wireless router from a Linksys EA2700 to a EA6500.  The EA2700 worked fine with my 1st generation Airport Express.  Since I have mavericks on my laptop (Airport Utility 6.x is incompatible with Airport Express/b/g) I used Airport Utility 5.6.1 on my Windows 7 laptop.  When I goto select my home wireless network in the APU drop down menu to select a network, my home wireless network never shows.
Linksys says it might be a problem with port forwarding and they need to know the ip port number of  1st Generation Appler Express.
    Thanks. -Rob

AirPort Utility can be used to configure and change the settings on any of the AirPorts.
If you have a Mac, AirPort Utility is here:
Macintosh HD > Applications > Utiltiies > AirPort Utility
If you have a PC, AirPort Utility for Windows is on the disk that came with the AirPort Express

  • What is the ethernet port for on airport express?

Can I use the ethernet port to connect an asset (in this case a Sony Blu Ray player) to my wireless network?  I can see my AE on the wireless network and I have a solid green light on the AE.  I have connected the Blu Ray player by ethernet to the AE but my Blu Ray cannot see my network.  Should it be able to?

Finally then, can I use my outdated A 1088 for wireless printing
    Sure
do I still need to use AirPort Utility v5.6
AirPort Utility 5.6 has the same look and layout that has been standardized in AirPort Utiliy for the past 4-5 years. 6.0 looks very different and will take some time for most folks to get used to.
I would suggest that you keep both 5.6 and 6.0 on your Mac and use the version which is most comfortable for you.

  • What is the local port when configuring IPASCII?

We are trying to configure the IPASCII object and one of the things
that it asks for is the "local port".
    Attachments:
    IPASCII.doc ‏29 KB

    Whit,
The "local port" parameter of the IPASCII object is an optional
parameter and does not need to be configured for the IPASCII object to
work correctly. As the definition from the Lookout Helps, the IPASCII
object is the "Local Ethernet I/O port the object uses for
    communicating to the external device".
The Port paramerter under the "Ethernet Settings" section may be more
important, assuming that your remote device has been configured to
communicate on a specific ethernet port. If your device has stated a
port, enter it into this location.
    I hope that this helps,
    Patrick R.

  • WRT350n - what is the WAN port speed?

    Hello,
Virginmedia in the UK have 50mb download capability now which I am interested in purchasing. I have been advised to check that my current router (wrt350n V2 v2.00.18 firmware) is capable of handling that speed on it's WAN port prior to signing up. It's not clear on the data sheet if the WAN port is gigabut ehternet capable, same as the 4 ethernet ports, and I wanted to ask just to be absolutely sure.
Any help or clarification gratefully received.

  • What is the correct port number that DI used to communicate with CI?

    Hello All,
Could you tell me the correct port numbers that a dialog instance used to connect to Central instance?
I just installed a CI (ABAP + Java) with instance number 05 and 06, and also I installed a DI which instance number is 07.
Everytime when I tried to start up DI, the process list (disp+work) and Java server0 can not start up, always yellow...
But when I close the windows firewall on CI machine, the CPU began to work happily until the DI started successfully with green light.
So, I know the root cause is happened on port restrictions, but I don't want to alway let the CI windows firewall closed, I just want to allow the corresponding ports. Now, the port number I opened on CI is:
3205,3206,3305,3306,3605,3606,3905,3906,50500,50501,50600,50601... But all of those port are not the correct ports, could  any experts tell me?
Thank you very much in advance.
    Best regards,
    Nick

    Hi All,
    Thanks for your reply.
I already opened those ports you mentioned above, but it still doesn't work, once I close the windows firewall, the work proess jlaunch.exe began to work.......CPU from the bottom to top....
Yes, I know that it's useless to open the firewall between CI and DI, here I just want to know the mechanism of communication between CI and DI, which pots are they used.
The instance number on CI is 05(ABAP) and 06(Java), and the number for DI is 07.
    On CI host, I opened ports:3205,3206,3305,3306,3605,3606,3905,3906, 50500,50501,50502,50600,50601,50602 and 1527
On DI host, I opened ports:3207,3307,3607,3907,50700,50701,50702
Are those not enough for communication between DI and CI?
    Best regards,
    Nick
