What's up when apps won't download?

When I try to download apps, etc. on my iPad 2, it goes fine to the point that I put it my password. It accepts it, but then does not download. If I push download again, it asks for my password again but doesn't download. It's an infinate loop.

Sorry to hear that you are having some troubles with the most recent update. These are definitely meant to help the device, so we want to figure this out. While we do not develop these updates, we can certainly help troubleshoot with you. If the issues are persisting while in Safe Mode we can then try resetting the device to factory defaults to see if that will resolve any software issues. Unless you have a copy of the iPod backup file from the previous computer installation you are out of luck. If yo have that file move it to your computer and restore the iPod from that backup. Otherwise, you will have to restore the iPod to factoery defaults/new iPod and lose all your app date. That is the way it is since the iPod sees the computer as a new computer/iTunes library. That backup file is located:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

Certain music pieces and apps won't download from my iPod to iTunes on my MacBook

I want to put what is on my iPod on my new MacBook, but certain pieces and apps won't download because my computer isn't authorized (so it will delete it from my iPod if I sync), but when it asks me to authorize it it uses an old Apple ID that doesn't exist anymore and to which I do not have access. Any ideas how to fix this? I just want to be able to sync my iPod with this computer without worrying about losing anything.

Several issues have encountered this issue. We've seen it in some of our reviews on the app store and on our support email list ([email protected]). So far, everyone who's contacted us has been able to successfully update after verifying that their network connection was working and restarting the download.
Please try the following:
1) Make sure wifi and/or cellular data are turned on
2) Test to be sure your internet connection is working by opening safari and browsing to a website (like www.adobe.com).
3) Single tap the app’s icon on the home screen and it will pause the download. Now go back to the iTunes Apps store, switch to the “Updates” screen and click “Update” to resume the download.
4) If this doesn't work, go to Settings -> iTunes & App Stores and tap the Apple ID to sign-out. Restart the iPad, go back to Settings -> iTunes Apps Store and sign-in. Tap the waiting icon to update the app.

My Apps Won't Download

My apps won't download and I have tried everything from restarting my phone to restoring my phone. Also tried to update my apps but since I changed my apple id because my old one had billing issues, I deleted all the apps trying to download them with the new apple id but nothing is working!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!! I have no apps!! Also my phone is updated so that's not the issue either.

CC apps won't download

I have a MacBookPro running 10.9.1. I was able to install trial version of CC desktop, no problem, but individual apps won't download. I tried downloading Illustrator CC, but after two hours it was only 20% done and then connection got intrerrupted. I have DSL internet through ATT. It's a little slow but I hope I can downlaod these apps without waiting hours for each app. Is this normal for apps to take so long to download?

download speed and reliability is mostly dependent on your internet speed and reliability. to some extent the speed can also be throttled by adobe's servers.

I had to reset my iPad (iPad 3) last night. Everything downloaded fine. Now tonight I'm trying to download a few new apps and games, I have strong Internet, and the apps and games won't download. They consistently say "waiting". So I deleted all that I was going to download then I turned off and on my ipad by holding both buttons. Then I tried just downloading 1 game. Still nothing will download.
What's going on here. Please help.

New update to my question and concern.

Is this a new Apple iD? If it is, and you have already set it up, then you have two options:
1. Temporarily put a Credit Card or Gift Card on the account to download the free app. If you put a credit card, then once you have downloaded the app, you should be able to go into your Account preferences and change the payment option to = None.
2. You can download the fee App, and then set up a new Apple ID.

Itunes stops working when app is being downloaded.

Every time one certain app tries to download it crashes iTunes. I stopped the app and exited iTunes. But now when I try to relaunch iTunes it tries to download the app right away and I cant get in. I went to c:\users\username\itunes and deleted it from iTunes but it still crashes when i try to launch iTunes. Any answers? All programs are up to date.

App won't download to phone

I bought the Calorie King App & even though it shows on list of apps to sync in iTunes, and even though it downloads w/out a problem to my iPad, it won't download to iPhone. I have enough memory for app; I have rebooted phone; I have erased & reloaded phone.....nothing works. Any suggestions?

It might still be installed, but a bug might be causing it not to appear. Try these:
Do a Spotlight search. On the home screen, swipe down from any icon to bring down the Spotlight search bar. Search for Nike - it might show up.
Do a soft reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons for about 10 - 15 seconds or until the phone turns off and the Apple logo appears, at which point let go of the buttons. Unlock your iPhone and look for the app.
Reset your home screen layout (this will delete any folders and place all of your apps on the home screen). Open Settings, then go to General - Reset - Reset Home Screen Layout. After the process completes try looking for the app.

Apps won't download, keeps asking for password even after I enter it.

When I go to download any app, it asks for my password, I enter my password, it thinks for a second, then asks for my password again. It does this continuously and no apps will download. Please help. So far I have tried to sign out of my Apple ID then restart the phone and sign back in. I have tried going to Settings > Wifi then hitting the info button and hitting Renew Lease. I also made sure my Data & Time settings were set to automatic. These were all of the suggestions I have seen, need some more!

Yes, it shows it, and it is correct. I even tried typing in an incorrect password, and it says that password is incorrect when I am typing my password wrong.

Adobe CC Apps won't download on Windows 8

Hi, idk if anyone has posted this, but Adobe Creative Cloud Apps will not download on my laptop. All I get is an error message due to internet conncetion, but my laptop is connected to the internet. I've tried turning of all firewall, that still didn't work. Can someone help me please?
