What's up with iOS 7 failing?

I know others are having this problem, but why? And when will it be avalible?

With everyone and their iDogs trying to update at the same time, things are gonna be a bit bumpy off the bat trying to update and/or activate.
All anyone can really recommend is to keep trying or wait until a bit later, after the hubub has died down.

What's wrong with IOS 6?

Is anyone unhappy with IOS 6. My iPad worked fine before the update. Now I can't get pages and site I previously did, and some pages take forever to load if they load at all and it's not as responsive on certain pages. Wish IOS 6 would fix this update!

The only option is Restore ur iPad to iOS 5 or wait for a stable version of iOS 6

Then connect your iPad to your computer ,open iTunes ,click on your iPad's name in the left column ,hold the shift key and press restore , chose the file u downloaded , Wait for the restore to finish.
Then set up your iPad as a new iPad .
Here you go, Now your iPad will be perfectly fine.. And is now in iOS 5 legally.You do not void your warranty........

What's wrong with ios 5?

have the same problem with my phone. after the ios5 update i now have no camera roll whatsoever( just a gray bar on top and a white screen with lines) also when i take pictures the bottom left hand corner picture is a grey screen and i cannot display anything. I think apple has a major problem with this update!

@deggie I read that yesterday, too. I wonder how long that will take and if it'll be an update that addresses these problems. I'm glad your iPad is doing well. That's what so frustrating, why do many of us have issues and others not? Does it have to do with when we bought our iPads? I have a client who had tons of freezing up issues with her iPhone 4 after the update to whatever came before the iOS 5. I had none of her issues with my own iphone 4, but I read that many others had my client's issue, as well. I bought my iPhone when it was first released and she bought hers six months later. Does this have anything to do with potential differences? My husband has an iPad 2 and he has issues after the iOS 5 upgrade, but his are different issues. Mostly to do with Safari though as well.

Can someone please give us an update? I currently use a Jetpack to access the internet. It's the only way my computer can access the internet when I travel.
I spoke with 2 separate customer service representatives. Both of whom said my account is just in the inactive state, and could not be activated till the system was fixed.
I understand maintenances need to occur, but there should be a way to revert in the case of failed updates.
Please, just let us know where things are at in the migration process

Try a reset, which is similar to a computer restart and is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.

Can't see shared printer with IOS 6 on ipad 3rd generation

I just upgraded my 3rd generation ipad to iOS 6.0 and now it won’t see the shared printers at my office. The printers are shared on a Mac mini server running OS X Server Lion 10.7.4. I can still see the shared printers and can print to them from a 3rd generation ipad with iOS 5.1.1.
Does anyone know what apple changed with iOS 6.0 that makes it where the shared printers aren’t showing up and what I might need to do to get them back working on my ipad with iOS 6.0?

iOS printing to a non-AirPrint printer is not supported. There's more information here: AirPrint 101
If you had iOS printing working through yout OS X Server then you must have had another piece of software running in the server emulating AirPrint. That software isn't compatible with iOS 6.

Try using another computer. I had the same problem, repeated the given solution many times and each time it failed. Then I connected ipad to another computer and it worked immediately. Then I used the first computer to restore a backup.

DANG! What's with iOS 7.1 and Wallpaper?

>_< OK, I love to put my own pictures on my iPad wallpaper. iOS 7 messed this up with being unable to scale and position anything except Apple's wallpapers. So I actually got an app (Wallax, used to work pretty good) to take care of the scaling so I could use my own pictures again.
Now, with 7.1, the Wallax app is broken, and I don't think it's their fault. Apple seems to have changed the rules out from under them... again.
C'mon, Apple, why can't you just let us put up our own dang pictures, scale 'em however we want, put black around the edges if you need to, and let us get on with customizing OUR DEVICES? People have been customizing phone and computer wallpaper for DECADES. We LIKE to be able to do this! What's your problem?
Having gotten that off my chest, does anyone out there have a workaround for this latest Apple paternalistic disaster?

There is an Apple issue that we have found in our testing that occurs when iOS devices are enrolled. This issue fails a check when the enrollment payload is inspected and the signing cannot be read. SAP believes Apple will fix this issue prior to iOS 7.1 being released but we are working on a patch that will address this issue shortly in case the fix does not make the iOS 7.1 GA release.
Afaria will be providing a patch to address this issue that increases the size of the database column from 2K to 6K to accommodate this change.
This issue is resolved in Service Pack 3 Hot Fix 39 and Service Pack 4 Hot Fix 3. Available now.

Total frustration with IOS 8.0.2 on iPhone 4s, what is going on?

PLEASE HELP!! Total frustration with IOS 8.0.2... what a nightmare. Can't get important apps to work.. that I use everyday... can't connect to WIFI... Phone crashes repeatedly (4s) ... it hangs... it takes 5-10 minutes to boot.... battery drains very quickly.

- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
- Relaunch the App and try again.

If it's an Intel Mac, you can upgrade it to Mac OS X 10.6.8.
If it's a PowerPC Mac, you need to use these instructions and/or iTunes Match to put content on the iPad.
