What's up with those very cool matching speakers for Zen Mic

Okay... in a very select few places on the net I have seen pictures (and limited info) for the Creative SBS Vivid 60 speakers that come in ten matching colors and are designed specifically for the Creative Zen Micro.
I want them!!!!! The only place I have found them for sale is on the Asian version (Singapore, I think?) e-commerce version of the Creative website. They aren't even listed in the North American site. Pics are also sparsely scattered on the 'net, but I want to know more. Are they available? Did something get pulled? Is it pre-order only? Does anyone have any clue how to go about getting this or when they will be available?

From what I've read the Zen Sleek Photo come shipped with the PlaysForSure firmware already so you will not need to update it.
Napster To Go, Yahoo Music Unlimited, and any other subscription service will be ready to use straight out of the box. Just sign up for the service, connect the player, and transfer your songs. So yes this software that Yahoo is talking about is the PlaysForSure firmware.

What To Do With Those BCCs

So I have my iPhone set to always BCC me and I like that because I end up with everything I've sent being in my Mail.app on my PowerBook.
I'm trying to figure out what to do with them. I would like to have them all move into a folder. I tried making a Rule that would move them if they came from my e-mail – the email that shows in the From field. But for some reason that didn't work. I tried both the "short" version and the whole address. The rule did move things I sent a year ago or so, but none of the ones that came from my iPhone.
Any ideas?

It is a known issue. Reboot your phone and it should work. I had the same issue and once I rebooted it worked fine. Tell your other iphone friends to reboot as well.

What's up with those lines?

Hey all,
I've been getting these lines in my moving images. Not so much when things are relatively still. Or sometimes when I capture a still frame from one of my clips. I've tried to capture an example to show you but haven't figured out how.
I swear it looks like every other line of the screens image is offset slightly. I thought it was an interlacing issue, so I exported another version of my last video using the "deinterlacing" option, but that doesn't seem to make any real difference.
Anybody got any ideas?

It's standard def, mini-dv. I tried exporting the same project using the "de-interlace" feature, but it didn't seem to make any difference. I exported them both (versions) to QT movies and compared them side by side and didn't see much difference.
When I upload the video to YouTube it looks fine, but if I export any other way I get those lines.
If the "de-interlace" option doesn't work, what else is there to do? If it lends any clarity, I captured a single frame from a clip and used it as a still. It was "very bad". Wow.
Any direction is appreciated.

I understand what's up with those of you with scratches...

You're pulling the thing out to show off to people, "Hey, look how cool I am that I bought this gizmo" and then it's all scratched up which makes you look lame. Sort of like, "You bought that scratched up thing?"
All those scratches look like normal wear and tear to me. If you put something in your pocket it will get scratched up.
Why do you think pocket watches have the hard metal shell that covers the face of the watch?

The issue is that the nano should not scratch so easily, after a few weeks/months of use the screen will be unreadable. There is plasitc out there which can withstand light scratches, the sony psp uses it, my sony k750 screen uses it. Why not on the nano?

What is up with the Help and Support Section for Business Catalyst?

It has been very difficult for my customers and myself to access the help and support section of the site for Business Catalyst issues as we are constantly diverted to non-related Abode issues. The portal for support on Business Catalyst issue needs to be ISOLATED from ADOBE's main support section. It is bad enough that there are so many issues to deal with, but to add all the issues for all the applications is simply impossible to decipher and discover a solution.
Before the Adobe integration on the Cloud services it was much more simpler, wiith a much more efficient and cleaner layout, now every page looks like its generated by a bot that doesn't understand what I am looking for. Even the actual URL of the page is hidden so I can't even book mark it without opening the frame in a new window. My clients will not know how to do that.
Simplify plesase!

What to do with Time Capsule when not using for Wireless Internet

I previously connected my Time Capsule to my fiber optic router but in my no home this is no longer needed as the cable TV company now provides 160 MPS Internet in a router that contains a wireless router built in. It works fine. My computer is now connected wirelessly to that router (too far to take advantage of the wired connection).
Therefore I want my Time Capsule to just be connected to the computer for backups. I gather I have to connect it via Lan and make sure it does not transmit r receuve wirelessly. In fact, other wireless computers in the huse occasionally try to log into the old Time Capsule PPoE settings, so I want to erase them and start fresh.

If this is not correct, can someone advise.
By the way, I have a first generation Aiport Express that I hope to use with my new cable router (modem?). I assume it will work as it did with the Time Capsule. Purpose is for Airplay with an audio system.

Ok, this is what I have:
Wall--> Cable modem with wireless (Motorola SURFboard SBG6580J Wireless Cable Modem Gateway.)
Other Room IMAC connected wirelessly to Cable Modem (no Ethenet connection to it since there is no jack and too far to run a cable (permanently--I can do for setup if needed)---> connected to TC and Time Capsule is backing up ok. Time Capsule is also not connected to the Modem

Yes, This is what I am wondering. Do I have to connect it by LAN to the Motorola? A few times, when it was just plugged into the Wall, my Mac airport utility found but them could not connect to my Express. maybe because I did not configure it to work with the Motorola as you say.

Ok, this confirms what I guessed. Connecting the computer to the Expressby Lan? Is that what you mean?

What's up with the missing adapter in the new zen mi

I know that Creative is a corporation... and that they are in it mainly for profit... but you guys at Creative need to stop being cheap and put the ac adaptor back into the creative zen micro package... I know apple doesn't include one... but the hell with apple, your Creative... charging your computer with a USB port... especially on a device that has to be charged every night (If you wanna copy something from apple, copy the battery life) is extremely inconvenient... and to add insult to injury, you don't even have enough of a supply of adaptors to fill the increased demand for them.

Others would probably disagree. Now that the 5 gig micro is under $200 without the adapter, it seems much more popular than when it was at $250 with the adapter. There is no excuse for not having enough adapters to meet the demand though. I see that they are still unavailable.

Do you have a power adapter? Sometimes iPod doesn't charge in computer when the battery is extremely low. That happened to me. Luckily, I had a power adapter. Now it works as usual. Hope can be of help!

Problems with firmware 2.10.03 upgrade for Zen xtra 3

Recently I attempted to upgrade the firmware on my Zen Xtra and the upgrade failed and I was unable to turn the unit back on. I send the unit into Creative and was advised that the player has no power and that it needs to be replaced for $95.00. I am not clear how I went from a working unit to this condition by attempting a firmware update. Does anyone have a similar experience?

just had exactly the same thing happen. Started to load the new firmware and player stopped dead, tried everything recommended, reboots, change battery, delete/rebuild USB drivers. Nothing. Talked to Creative and got RMA and the Test Results as of tonight was "No Power with Battery" Waiting to hear what that means. The player was fine it was their software that was bad.

What type of li-ion battery charger for Zen Mic

What type of battery charger do I need to buy for the removable li-ion battery the Zen Micro uses?

But, I want a charger!
I will buy an extra battery. So that while I am using my Micro, I can re-charge the other battery. That is why I am buying a player with a removable battery.
Problem is that Creative sells the extra batteries, but I don't see a charger listed.

If you are referring to the speaker at the bottom, there is only one, the other is a microphone. Otherwise, have you attempted a reset?
Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.

VERY COOL: the web app for review & approve

I have downloaded the package at

read the readme, which is actually a manual, and set up everything accordingly. And now I have a very cool web app for review & approve with the same look and feel as the client. This is such a great feature that I really have no clue why apple is hiding it. There are third party apps that are less cool and cost a lot and don't send comments and flag back to FCsvr as this web app does.
And the best thing: it's very easy to install.

Don't give up so soon..
Delete all XML files in the xmlin folder. try it again and when you see in "search all jobs" go to the administrator/log panel en double click on the upmost row (the one that inform you that the script has run). If it says cannot read XML file, the go to the xmlin folder and check if there is a new XML file. There probably is but not with the title you gave to the asset. This means that the script had problems assigning the title to the name of the XML file.
Try now uploading a new file. Don't change the filename and give a tite of something without spaces. See if it works then.
Also be aware that you set the priority probably to medium. A normal device scan would probably stop this.
