What's With Scrolling Not Working?!

This is driving me crazy! I've just bought (Dec 2013) a 2013 MacBook Pro and installed Mavericks over Snow Leopard. The scrolling feature, which has worked on all my Macs since 1987, is not working. I've tried all the System prefs I can think of (trackpad, etc.), and searched this forum with no results. I can drag down the scroll bar and navigate around the active window that way, but scrolling doesn't work at all. Any insights appreciated! Thanks in advance, PFJohns.

Unfortunately it doesn't work. It has player 10.
I only see the preloader, but then it's stuck, no data is loaded or something else can be seen.

This is a sort of performance issue , because your program takes more than the max time set for the program to execute in foreground.
There are many stuff in program which will hamper your performance.
I will list down a few
1. SELECT *
FROM konp
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE konp_itab
FOR ALL ENTRIES IN a363_itab
WHERE knumh EQ a363_itab-knumh
in this statement you are using for all entries a363_itab , but before this statement you are not checking if the table has any entry or not , please do remember that for all entries has this characterstic , that if you internal table does not contain any record , then all the records are selected from the database table. So in this case if you table a363_itab is empty , so what you want is no data must be seelcted from table konp , but what will happen is all the records in KONP will be seelcted.
2. While retreiving data you are using seelct * even though you do not require all the fields , an example is
<b>SELECT *
FROM mkpf
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE mkpf_itab
FOR ALL ENTRIES IN mseg_itab
WHERE mblnr EQ mseg_itab-mblnr.</b>
in this your internal table contains only 2 fields
<b>mblnr LIKE mkpf-mblnr, "Number of Material Document
bldat LIKE mkpf-bldat, "Document Date in Document</b> , but to get these 2 fields you are selecting all the fields of the table.
3. In select you are using into corresponding fields of table , it is not a good practice., so please avoidd it.
Please understand that you must try to reduce the access to your database tables and try to keep it minimal , because this same thing may happen becasue data in DEV is very less compared to the volume of data in production , so a program working in DEV will take much more time in PRD if not written properly and may result in timeouts , as in your case.
Please try to make chanegs to the prorgam and see if it works.

Hmmm, Norton extensions are broken again in Firefox 4.0.1. It seems that Norton didn't allow for Firefox 4.0 security updates when they updated their Firefox extension for Firefox 4.0. Norton says they'll have a fix in two weeks. A Norton user posted a fix in this forum thread.

Page scrolling with keyboard not working

Scrolling not working using keyboard. Page Up / Page Down, Arrow Keys - Up, Down, Left & Right - keys do not work.
Scrolling is possible only by using the scroll bar.

hey rmurthy, please press f7 in order to switch off caret browsing mode, then the arrow keys should work as known before.

I have onld zen 7.x, on netware.
Applications associated with workstations not working or appearing in one container. Not sure if it every worked. Apps work fine with users.
I am in a bind, since I need to get the app out in the workstation space.
It maybe rights or simple install error with the ZEN from the begining.
thanks for any help or ideas.. Yes I know I need to get to Zen 11.

Please tell us more as "not working" can mean a lot of things. So:
Are they user or workstation associated?
Are those for whick they do not work (users or workstations) all in the
same container?
In what way do they not work?
Any errors?

If you haven't done so already, try resetting the printing system.
OS X Mavericks: Reset the printing system also Yosemite
Try deleting the printer and scanner and add them back.
Also try Applications/Image Capture to see if it can find the printer and scanner.

However, If I open 'Smart Recorder' for example, I can select 'What yiou hear (Creative SB X-Fi)' as an option, but hitting record doen't record what is playing on the PC. So it doesn't actually seem to do anything...

Both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause an issue like that. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.

Hi All, I have lenovo S60-a upgraded to Lollipop. After that i noticed that one of the features in homescreen customization > wallpaper scrolling not working anymore. So i can't swipe from the edge of my lenovo screen, to change the wallpaper. Previously on KitKat its working fine. Is there any fix for this ? or someone using Lenovo S60-a Lollipop has the same problem ?

Yes, its a features that others phone don't have. The Kitkat on Lenovo is more stable than Lollipop. I wonder is it possible to downgrade it to the original Kitkat version if i bring the phone to Lenovo Service Center? When i updated to Lollipop, i forget to check for the bugs that other users facing using the lollipop. So if it is possible to downgrade, i would like to downgrade it to kitkat. Flash is not, and probably never will be, supported on the iPad : http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/ . Plus it would be up to Adobe to make a version of their flash player that works on iOS devices - something which they have never managed to do and which they have now given up on trying to do.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter and Puffin 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, so your could try checking there for your sites (and there is the built-in YouTube app).

5k retina display - scroll not working with Safari (both magic mouse and trackpad)

suddenly my trackpad and magic mouse stopped working with scrolling (most annoying one) and other gestures.
I recently bought the iMAC 5K retina display and was not expecting this by any means...
I have a ton of tabs open on safari and simply "refuse" to try the old windows way of rebooting the machine...
I have to use the arrow keys to scroll down... this is insane

Just found out the reason I couldn't get the two to play nicely. I had connected my keyboard and trackpad using a "Magic Wand" which looked great. Unfortunately the magic wand had a connecting piece to fill in the gap between the two pieces and this was preventing the little pads underneath the trackpad clicking. So I can only guess that because the trackpad couldn't click it thought it was stuck and therefore also locked up the mouse. I've remove the connector and both pieces work perfectly together!
