What's with the keyboard lag after upgrading to yosemite?

First of all you hit the command tab key to switch programs it never comes up until you do it three or 4 times.  Once it is working it will continue to work unless you stop working for a few minutes, and then it does it again.  It's like the computer is sleeping even though it's not.
The same thing happens when you try to enter a new site in safari or spotlight.  Your cursor is sitting there blinking but as you type nothing happens.  Eventually if you keep typing some of your letters will appear, but not the first letters you typed.
Also when I stop and do nothing the command-tab will appear without me pressing of the keyboard.  It sounds like a cacheing problem.  Is there anyone else experiencing this?.

Generally speaking it's:
720x480 @ 29.97 fps for NTSC (or 23.976 for NTSC Film)
  720x576 @ 25 fps for PAL
Anamorphic video formats (e.g 16:9 aspect) is accomplished either by (rarely) scaling the image down and including black pixels at the top and bottom of the image, or (usually) by the setting a flag which tells the DVD player to stretch the pixels horizontally, scaling the image and automatically adding black at top and bottom if needed.

  • The calendar app on MacBook won't recognize and sync with IPad and Iphone after upgrading to Yosemite and Server 4.0

After upgrading to Yosemite on our mac mini (from OS X 10.9) and V4.0 to Server (from 3.2), the calendar app on MacBook won't recognize the account and won't sync with IPad and Iphone. Even after giving password over and over again. I get the following message:
    De server reageerde met

    op de bewerking 'CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation'.
(Server responded with '500' on task 'CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation'
    Anyone idea?

update to my original post:  after searching since for the past 10 days - I did want to pass along to others with an iphone calendar sync problem the following resource:
Mac OS X: Resetting the SyncServices folder
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1627
This is the preferred solution for problems with sync with calendar and other apps between iphone and MaciOS.  This did solve the problem which developed that no items from iCal were copying to Iphone, such as new calendars I would add, but the original problem has not been fixed by this reset.

  • Font previews not appearing correctly in the character window after upgrading to Yosemite

    Hi,
I’m having an issue with Illustrator CS5 since I upgraded to Yosemite. When I go to the character window to select fonts they are not displaying the names correctly or to put it a better way they’re not showing at all!
When I scroll up and down the list only the highlighted (where the cursor is positioned) font name and preview will show up as expected, oh and a few random font names. (please see attached image, although strangely the highlighted area is showing blank on this screen grab)
I had to update the Java in order to get this version of illustrator working on Yosemite, could there be a connection to that?
    Thanks in advance.

    Adgatez,
I believe this may solve it:
Open System Preferences and go to Accessibility. Next, select Display from the source list along the left, then check the box labelled Reduce transparency.
It was first presented in this post #15 by TheUlser:
    https://forums.adobe.com/message/6854594#6854594
It may also depend on the monitor, as it appears from post #29 by Loncar in the same thread.

  • Problem with the USB-connection after upgrade to P...

    Hello to everybody!
    After upgrading PC-suite, I can't establish a USB-connection with the phone.
    Here are the facts:
    1) My phone is the E90. Latest software installed (300.34.84)
    2) PC-Suite version 7.0.9.2 english. I also tried the greek version, same problem with it also.
    3) Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver 7.0.2.1. I also installed manually a previous version of the driver (7.0.2.0), but this didn't solve the problem.
    4) I didn't have any problem with the older version of PC-suite.
    5) I don't have a problem with the cable because the data-transfer-mode works fine.
    6) Prior to any installation attempt, I always first uninstalled PC-suite and Cable-driver manually with the windows-xp uninstall program. This was not the fact, only in my first attempt, where I upgraded the pc-suite from inside the program itself.
Please help, because I can't backup and this is very important for me!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Thank you all for your suggestions but nothing of the above worked for me.
After of hours and hours of installing and uninstalling of several versions of the pc-suite I solved the problem as following:
    1) Uninstall manually (windows - control panel - add/remove programs)Nokia-PC-Suite, Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver AND PC Connectivity Solution!
    2) Restart PC
    3) Download and install the new version of Nokia-PC-Suite.
The tricky part is that you have to uninstall the application called "PC Connectivity Solution" manually and since the title of the application dosn't include the Nokia-Name you have first to find out that this program is Nokia-related!
Once again, thanks to everybody who took the time to make suggestions and especially to cricfancy who made me aware of the fact that PC Connectivity Solution is a nokia application!
Finally, I would like to make a statement for Nokia:
People, if you are not sure about an update then keep it in beta and don't make it available to the public!!! I lost hours and hours on search and made countless installs and uninstalls to find out what was wrong. Under the line, I had made no mistakes in my update from the start and the whole problem was based on your software! This is not acceptable!

  • Anyone having trouble with the home button after upgrading to Ios6

Is anyone having problems with the home button not working correctly after down loading ios6?

    I haven't but try resetting...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    Then restart your iPad.
No data will be lost as a result of a reset.

  • What's with the CLICKING noise after every edit?

In the latest version of GB, whenever I make a simple splice to a voice track, there's a CLICK artifact at the tail of every edit. In order to remove it, I have to zoom in and really play with the length of the clip to get rid of the click. This is REALLY annoying because I know I'm not cutting during an active waveform. In other words, there's "silence" when I make the cut, yet I keep getting an audible CLICK every time. The old version of GB did NOT do this. A clean cut was a clean cut. This is obviously a bug. Does anyone know of a workaround to avoid this artifact? Thanks!

  • Anyone with eye strain problem after upgrading to Yosemite please report feedback to Apple

As this eye strain problem is getting worse and basically I love some new Yosemite features, so please let Apple knows if this new upgrade have some display problems. I am using iMac 27" late 2013. this eye strain problem doesn't occur when using Mavericks (my mac is dual boot Maverick <-> Yosemite)
    https://www.apple.com/feedback/
    Thanks in advance.

Perform the following, stopping with the first one which works:
    1. Open the Mac App Store's Purchases tab. If you're prompted to accept it and the other iLife/iWork applications into your Apple ID, do so.
    2. Move them out of the Applications folder(they may need to be put into the Trash temporarily), and then see if you can download them for free from their individual product pages. If you're asked to buy them, see #3.
    3. Click here, contact Apple, and wait for a response.
    4. Buy them.

  • Problem with the "from" field after upgrading to IOS 7

    Dear list members,
For years I have been using multiple e-mail accounts with my iPhone 4 without any trouble. However, after I upgraded to IOS 7, a strange bug is happening.
When I try to send an e-mail from my iPhone, using my iCloud account, to another person or another account of mine, every time I type an address in the "to" field, the "from" field changes automatically to some of my other accounts (most of them from Google). Then I have to correct the "from" field every time, which is very annoying.
Is there a way to solve this bug?
    Thank you for your attention.

I have a similar problem, using iPhone 4 and iPad 3. I can connect to the iPhone hotspot (iPhone show the blueish bar on top of its screen and says 1connection is active). So far so good, BUT, the iPad gets no symbol (the chain showing its linked) nor internet access. Sometimes the symbol comes but still no internet. By resetting the iPhones network settings I get it to work immidiately after, but after putting my iPad to sleep there will be the same issue over again. Please come up with a solution. Maybe I need to restore both devices? I don't like the idea though. It just works, huh?!?!?

  • Problem of the iPad connection with the iPhone hotspot after upgrading to iOS 6

Hi guys, this is my problem: I've got an iPhone 4 and an iPad 2. With iOS 5.1.1, installed on both devices, I was able to surf the internet with my iPad through the iPhone hotspot.
I've just installed iOS6 on both devices...now iPad sees the iPhone wi-fi network but it can't connect!
    Why?
    Thanks for your support

  • What's with the 720x480 size after encoding?

Thanks for SDMacuser's very detailed instructions in another thread (Can I make a DVD with multiple slideshows) - I saved the entire thing as a .pdf!
After I finished my movie, having had to deal with shots taken by four people with different cameras, settings, grainy or pixelated images, etc, etc, I decided to do a test just to see if different processes/settings would produce a better movie/image quality than others. I created a very short (3 images, all in different sizes and quality) movie and:
    1. made one slideshow in Photo to Movie - specified size as 640x480/4:3 and exported it once as a Quicktime movie (expert settings, H.264, size 640x480, best quality). Second export for test purposes: directly to Toast (no options to customize settings available);
    2. created a new project (DV, 4:3) in iMovie and imported the .mov file from Photo to Movie;
    3. created a new project in iDVD and imported the iMovie project, settings 4:3 NTSC and "professional quality" and saved as disk image, and
    4. created another project in iDVD ("best performance") and added a slideshow, dragging in the same 3 photos, saved as a disk image.
I then dragged each one into Toast and - finally (drum roll!) here is the question: every one of them showed up as "NTSC, *720 x 480*, 29.97 fps", etc.
Why would they all show as having been encoded at 720 x 480, which doesn't seem to be either 4:3 or 16:9, especially when I had specified 640x480 in Photo to Movie (if I specify a 720 width in Photo to Movie, the height automatically changes to 540) and specified 4:3 everywhere else? Two of the pictures were actually smaller than 640x480 and the third was 2048x1536.
I'm puzzled by this (odd?) size - is this something that iMovie and/or iDVD does or am I doing something to cause this?

    Generally speaking it's:
720x480 @ 29.97 fps for NTSC (or 23.976 for NTSC Film)

  • Does Anyone Have Problems with the Ear Speaker After upgrading to iOS7, 8 or 8.1?

HI. When ther's a voice call, the speaker for the ear has no sound (the mic is good) but they can hear and when I use the speakerphone the speakerphone works. Is this a bug with iOS 8 or 8.1 (or even 7)? or there's a setting I accidentally enabled that only allows the speakerphone with voice calls (for those who can't hold the phone like those who're injured)?
Thank you in advance. Have a great upcoming weekend.
    God bless, Rev. 21:4

  • Can't find the Applications folder after upgrading to Yosemite

I was successful in upgrading my Macbook from Snow Leopard to Yosemite.  So I installed Photoshop Elements 13.  It seemed to work until I closed out of Photoshop.  I couldn't find the Applications folder or the Photoshop program.  Would like to know any hints on what I could try in order to bring up my Applications folder, where Photoshop is likely still stored.

    Have you tried Spotlight?
    Ciao.
