What's with the "RED FLASHES" when I scroll ?

Using Aurora, when I'm on any web page (except Firefox !) and use the scroll wheel on my mouse, I get a RED FLASH every time I start to scroll. This is potentially dangerous as I have a seizure disorder that can be triggered by light flashes (when coupled with

Try to disable hardware acceleration.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

What's with the poor quality when exporting a presentation to iDVD

When I exported I choose high resolution preference. The presentation ran perfectly in Keynote, but when I exported it to iDVD it looked horrible- like low res- the same when I burned it onto a DVD just as a test. Also, when I tried another route- exporting to Powerpoint it saved the file as .pps? What is that? None of my others have done that.

I have iDVD 6 and I exported it - high quality to iDVD. Is that what you mean by iDVD feature?
I read on this discussion something about the slide resolution. I discovered when I first set up the show my resolution was 800x600 and I haven't found a way to change it. I am ready to begin again and set my slide res to the maximum and copy, paste, and resize all my text to fit- then export again. LOTS OF WORK! but I am not sure how else I can resolve this.

What's with the multiple "-av" when exporting to QuickTime?

I'm a little frustrated... upgraded to Studio 2, got a new Mac... now everything I export comes in the form of several "-av" files when it used to be 1 big file. I'm not sure what changed, but it's annoying the **** out of me. Any suggestions?

Did you upgrade from a PPC to an Intel?
Intels use a different format to partition than PPCs
I think it only matters for the boot drive but it may make a difference

The tabs disappeared at the top, and when I move the mouse up to the top, they do not reappear and I am stuck on the page!

the tabs recede into the top of the screen, along with the toolbar. sometimes, when I move the mouse up to the top, the tabs and toolbar reappear, but sometimes it gets stuck and I am stuck without the toolbar. I can only navigate from the page I am on. I am not the most computer savvy but I am good at following directions! so if you could instruct me how to adjust the settings so the tabs and toolbar remain permanently at the top of the screen, I would really appreciate it, thank you.

Click View->Toolbars and make sure "Navigation Toolbar" is selected.

Using the battery level meter in this manner is comparable to using your car's fuel gauge to calculate miles per gallon. The only thing that matters is the total amount of operating time from full charge to auto-shutdown.
Use the wall-mount charger that came with the iPad and charge overnight. Do NOT use an iPod/iPhone charger. Do NOT use a computer's USB port. Then, operate it normally until auto shut-down (ignore any low level alerts that may appear). An irony is that doing that test to determine the total operating time is also the procedure necessary to calibrate the battery level meter.
I'm not claiming that you do not have a problem. I am stating, however, that we don't yet know. If the above test does, in fact, indicate a problem, read this.

For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).

Trax and kirt are correct. I'm pretty good with technology, being an engineer and all, and I can tell you for a fact that this 'swoosh' sound (triggered by a successfully sent SMS) can NOT be disabled from ANY menu in iOS 5. The ONLY way to disable it is to flip the silent switch on the left hand side of the phone. This is extremely annoying for some people (like trax, kirt, and myself). For what we pay for Apple products and, in particular, this phone, we simply didn't expect to have to deal with such annoyances. That's why we're Mac users. Please fix this bug.
I feel like I shouldn't have to say this but it bears repeating: turning off message sounds from the 'sounds' menu does not fix his problem. It still emits the swoosh noise. Whoever suggested this clearly didn't try it because it obviously doesn't work. Who posts a solution to a problem without knowing for a fact that their solution is correct? I suspect you are attempting to burn an HD DVD, which will not play on a DVD player...
But if you provide more details such as the settings you are applying in Compressor, then we would be able to provide you more accurate information.
How are you adding the files to Compressor?
In FCP, what are your footage properties (command-9) and sequence settings (command-0)

With the Marshal Plan, when create an instance of a manager, we need to talk to the system manager. Unfortunately sometimes these manager instances can be created before the Application class is created and/or before the systemManager property is set on the application. So to get the reference to the system manager from the manager instances, we can't use ApplicationGlobals.application.systemManager. We need to use SystemManagerGlobals.topLevelSystemManagers[0] instead. This property is set in the SystemManager constructor, and fortunately for us, Flash runs your root display object's constructor before anything else, even before static initializers (atleast ones not defined in SystemManager or a dependency of it).

What the reason to create an instance like this
within the same class. We can create this instance of

class when ever we need. There doesn't seem to be any in your code, since that variable is never accessed. It could be useful if you wanted to have a Point that was shared across all instances. This is not a good example of that though.

Downloaded latest update 7-27 and all I can say is it is the most pitiful piece of feces I have ever seen. Letters are blue with black background and you can't read **** because of the contrast . What was wrong with the white letters and black background, nothing except some idiot has to justify his miserable existence by making changes on a system that was just fine. Contacts are another issue now that it takes anywhere from 3 to 5 steps to get there. Unlocking the phone is another one , why should I have to unlock it just to have another screen to ask me where to go. I have been on the phone with Verizon as well as going to the store for help in deciphering this new pitiful update. The answers from the help at the stores is to email Google or Verizon about these issues .I purchased the original droid in dec. of 2009 and was happy with it. then upgraded to the razr jan 2012 and have been pleased with it till this latest update and now If I could get anything else I would, another thing is I would NOT recommend the droid to anyone for purchase.I have even tought about getting the iphone at this point because I am so dissatisfied . when I decided to post this I tried the user name of irked , it was taken as well as ******, so apparently I'm not the only disgusted user.

Just curious, since this has already been answered, but to simplify code, would it be possible to set it so that if the value is not a prime number, just do the value like so:

What says you don't have permission to access the requested source? That is not an error that should come up at all either from iTunes or when attempting an over the air upgrade. At least not an error that has anything to do with the servers.
It could be a permissions problem on your computer or an issue being caused by your firewall or antivirus software.

Hi,
In the query execution there are a sequence of steps performed before we actually see the data. One of these steps is Authorization check.
When we check Auth Relevant for a characteristic and have a Authorization Variable in the query. The authorizations assigned to the user are checked to see what the user has access to. For instance if we have a auth relevance for Region char, and we used it in the query. User who is running the query has authorization to Germany only, then the output of the report has only data relevant to that user, i.e., for Germany.
