What's with this stupid wobbly effect in the iPhone and iPad cameras?
When using the camera on an iPad or an iPhone, any movement causes a ridiculous wobbling effect that makes video and still photos rather hard to take and the final shots look awful...
Anyone know if there's a way to turn this off?
Anyone at Apple have anything to say about this?
Just tried again, and the most I can get is some slight distortion when panning the camera left and right quite rapidly (too fast to actually make out much). When I do that it kind of looks like the image is skewed a little bit, where the top of the picture is slightly in front of the rest of the image, making vertical objects look somewhat bent.
Is this what you mean?
Again, I think this is due to the screen and camera hardware not being able to keep up with each other. I've seen similar "effects" on other dedicated digital cameras, however, in normal use (i.e. not rapidly panning left and right repeatedly), I've not noticed it.
It's probably a side effect of the relatively low quality cameras these devices have in comparison to dedicated video cameras.

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

I recently began using reminders in ical and downloaded the iPhone and iPad app. It works great. However, the reminders in ical on the COMPUTER is difficult to work with - thin long column on the right rather than in it's own screen. is there a reminders app for the COMPUTER that is more user friendly?

My iCloud is set up and seems to work. However, a newly added contact does not sync from the Macbook to the iphone and iPad. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, txstan
Apparantly it is, On My Mac contacts don't appear in iCloud, anywhere.
Put all your contacts on all of your devices in iCloud (assuming that's where you want them to be)
Go to www.icloud.com, login and see what you actually have in the account. -

I have an Retina display MacBook Pro with HMDI out port. I also have an HDMI to Component cable with Audio Plugs. How can I get HDMI out to work with this cable when plugged into the MacBook Pro and connected to the TVs Component and Audio in ports.
Will not work. To my knowledge, dual converting like that isn't supported. The Mac must detect the connected video output device and that sort of info cannot be done across an analog component uni-directional connection.

I wish to use my ipad regularly as a sat nav in my car. Would I definitely need a cellular Ipad or would tethering between my iphone and ipad work just as well ?
I would suggest that u get the cellular wifi model because it has a built in gps when there is no cellular coverage the gps will still work as it gets it signal directly off the satellite when ur tethering your phone to your iPad on the wifi model only I'm not too sure if it will work if u have no cellular coverage someone may more info on this subject.

What's with this 'Reload Software 552' on the BlackBerry phones?
After more than 16 different handsets in a year, my BlackBerry 8220 showed this error message after i tried to answer an incoming call.
Since there had been SO MANY different handsets, I asked for a different model.
I now have an 8520
So, on Friday, May 14, 2010, my phone, the 8520, showed the same error message. This time, I had just downloaded an updated copy of the BlackBerry App World
With the 8220>> When I tried to reload the software, the computer didn't recognize the phone. At all
With the 8520>> When I tried to reload the software, I could go into the Application Loader (even without the PIN number displaying in the BB Desktop Manager, It started, but then it couldn't initialize the applications.

I don't have a lot of stuff on my phone.. at least not in my opinion. Any applications came by way of BB App World. Pandora, Poynt, Drive Safely (not with the MotoSpeak), Mapquest.
I had earlier downloaded an update to the BB Messenger.
What is it? Is it me? I'm running Windows Vista on my Dell Computer.
I call T-Mobile and Blackberry, and they can't help me. I really just want a phone that works. Is that too much to ask?

IWORKS 09 pages, keynote, numbers does not send in MAIL (mac) because of "This message was blocked because its content presents a potentialsecurity issue"
its a problem not only on GMAIL but also Live, Hotmail, Yahoo, and other services...
The problem is that gmail and others haved yet accepted the latest iworks 09 files. its a problem that apple can ask then to fix but its up to the gmail and others to fix it.
Solution!!!:
1 - Send it by exporting to office files
2 - Saving the files as old iwork documents
3 - Command P and save as PDF
4 - Save in icloud and send the URL
So you can still send them but have to take a bit more of your time

When I send a PDF attachment by email the recipient sees only a blank unfilled form. This has only occurred since IOS 7 was updated. The email with the PDF when recieved by my MAC is OK, but my phone and iPad are not!
Any advise would be appreciated.I have the same problem. Sought to insert a pdf into Apple Mail after editing a form pdf and only the blank form shows. I didn't use Preview to generate the form, just Acrobat. And, the filled in form inserts perfectly into an email when I use Outlook for Mac. Problem only with Apple Mail.

I know that there is a new bluetooth sharing feature enabled on iOS6 now that wasn't there before on iOS5, and I was wondering if this means my Polaroid POGO instant printer would be able to connect to the iPhone to print photos now?

No. Only the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have the necessary hardware (NFC chip). iPads, iPod touches, and older iPhones don't support it.
