What's wrong with my Apple Mail?! It only retrieves e-mails once I send an e-mail from the account concerned!
Well, that's it really. I need to send an e-mail from an account for apple mail to retrive new incoming mail.
This has started happening since I upgraded to Mavericks. It's very temperamental. Some days it needs massaging to get my mail (as per above), other days it works like a well-oiled machine.
Any thoughts anyone?

I've tried doing that with no results. Same screen keeps showing. Maybe it'd be more helpful if I told you a bit more info. My phone was randomly playing music, and the voice control would also suddenly start without me touching the phone. Then I let the battery die and started to recharge when on the screen it indicated to plug into my computer/iTunes, I tried to restore but was getting an error message (can't remember what it said now). Battery died and now my current issue of the black screen with white apple. I'd love to be able to restore my phone but now its not showing as a device on my iTunes. HELP! Any other suggestions? -

According to Apple's list (link above) you will probably want to pick up a Sprint or US Cellular model. HOWEVER, as I mentioned above I know that the Verizon iPhones come unlocked from the factory (assuming it will be the same for iPhone 6 and 6+). I DO NOT KNOW if the Sprint and US Cellular models come unlocked. But I am sure some quick internet research will lead you to the answer.
I think your goal would be to get a Sprint or US Cellular version. Also I believe a law was just recently passed that allows someone to have a phone unlocked by the carrier no questions asked. So even if the Sprint and US Cellular iPhones are locked you can have them unlocked.

I can't delete individual songs anymore. I can't download them individually either. I mean, aren't those the main features of iTunes Match service?
On the iPad I can delete only entire albums. On the iPhone not even that. I didn't subscribe to the service for this. I thought the integration with iOS 6 was gonna be better and profound. What's wrong with the regular expression?

For the life of me I can not figure out what is wrong with this regular expression

This is just an example the actual phrase can be an specific phrase. My problem comes when the specific phrase ends in a period. I've escaped the period but it still gives me an error. The only time I don't get an error is when I take off the end boundry character which will not suffice as a solution. I need to be able to capture all the text before and after said phrase. If the phrase doesn't have a period it would look like this...

which works fine. So what is it about the \.\b combination that is not matching?

That should get highlighted, but for some reason it doesn't. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the regex read as follows:

Any help will be much appreciatedA word boundary (in the context of regexes) is a position that is either followed by a word character and not preceded by one (start of word) or preceded by a word character and not followed by one (end of word). A word character is defined as a letter, a digit, or an underscore. Since a period is not a word character, the only way the position following it could be a word boundary is if the next character is a letter, digit or underscore. But a sentence-ending period is always followed by whitespace, if anything, so it makes no sense to look for a word boundary there. I think, instead of \b, you should use negative lookarounds, like so: strPattern = ".*(?<!\\w)" + strHighlight + "(?!\\w).*";

It's seems temporary internet folder corrupted, please try to modify the location for temporary Internet files for Internet Explorer test this issue:
1.In Internet Explorer, choose Internet Options from the
Tools menu to display the Internet Options dialog.
2.In the Internet Options dialog, click the General tab. In the
Browsing history section click Settings to open the
Temporary Internet Files and History Settings dialog.
3.In the Temporary Internet Files and History Settings dialog, click
Move Folder to open the Browse for Folder dialog.
4.In the Browse for Folder dialog, select the following location.

I put the icloud mail login address in the browser, it brings up the login screen.
I put the login details in correctly, it says icloud has stopped responding, I always send to Apple.
It restarts and I get the right screen, below, but all of the icons are blurred out. If you hover over them they sometimes indicate what they are but won’t let me launch them.
I am using an Advent Laptop with a Celeron processor with Windows 7 and the browser is Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7. (I know I am expecting a lot of it). All of my software is up to date.

what is the setting for the Print Products Store in the Advanced Tab of the iPhoto Preferences?
The country you select there has to match the billing address. And your billing address should match the country of your AppleID and credit card used with the AppleID.
