What server to enter for Document Center

I just installed the extensions to Word and set up an account with Document Center. In Word, it asks me to choose a server. I think that the default.corp is an example. It does not work. I cannot connect to document center. What should I put in the Choose Server window?

What do I enter for DNS settings?

I was looking through my mail log files and discovered my domain wasn't being resolved correctly. So I did sftp in Terminal and it returned an error that mail.myserver.com could not be resolved.
My servers IP address 192.168.88.8 and my DNS Server's DNS settings are 192.168.88.8 and 127.0.0.1. Is this correct?

External forward and reverse DNS both need to be correct for your mail to be routed into your server and particularly for your outbound mail to be accepted by remote mail servers (and not perceived as a spam engine), and your local network needs to have DNS functional for at least the server. The reverse DNS inherently involves your ISP.
Put another way, yes, you need DNS for a traditional setup.
These days, it's usually safest to assume that everything needs DNS.
If you're not on a business-class DSL service, you'll end up establishing a relay through an authorized mail server somewhere else; with what amounts to relay through an SMTP mail server elsewhere with valid DNS.

What do you enter for a Carriage Return in Find&Replace?

I'm using TextEdit to find and replace all instances of a string in an exported .txt with Carriage Returns (CRs). Only, I can't figure what to press in the 'Replace with:' field to tell TextEdit that I want the CR to go in there. Obviously, if I just press Enter, it will just Find then next occurrence of the 'Find' string.
Any tips?
What I have been doing as a clumsy work-around is type a CR in the .txt file, and then copy-paste in into the 'Replace with:' field. Only I thought maybe there's a cleverer way of doing it.

I don't know of a better way to initially set up the Carriage Return in the "Replace with:" field. However once you have done that, you can get it back from the drop-down list associated with that field (it will appear there as a blank line).

What the best way for STORAGE the documents from DMS?

Please, can someone tell me if the limit of storage the originals through a data carrier is two for document or i can to large this limit? 'Cause i know that using Kpro i don't have limit of storage, but i'm trying to use the data carriers 'cause i just have a place in the company server for storage this originals.
I'm trying to send the originals from a path like this
abcs01\dms$\ through of a configuration "servidor, front ends", but i'm not get to send the originals from CV01N for this place, even the document been save. I verify that the documents were not sent when i enter from the CV02N in the same document and try to change or screen the originals, 'cause i receive a error message saying that the SAP doesn't get to find the originals on the path indicated.
Did someone just work on a likely situation?
Did someone have a view about the best way to storage this documents in this case?
If the best way will be KPRO, Do I use KPRO with the Content Server or KPRO with storage the documents in a SAP table through of the standard system aplication "DMS_C1"?

Hi,
The decision to go for either content server or vault depends on what data will be stored. If you are storing drawing data it is highly recommended to go for content server.
For vault storage performance issues are reported.
DMS_C1 is IDES based BSP database repository. It is useful only for dev/testing.
You will be required to create storage repository for CS.
If you have server available when you insert content server CD inside it, it automatically asks you for maxDB database instance creation. As you click on next it will take you further to create maxDB instance. K-Pro is service on web server. It is used to manage the checkin-checkout and other functionalities of the CS server data.

Host we need more details:
What is your server environment (Windows Server, or Mac OS X Server, or Linux)?
What security is implemented in your environment - as what is restricted (RDP for all or specifc credentials on all machines? Are you part of local admin group to the server you wish to connect)?
Does your environment Support CISCO IPSec connection? If so use Settings> VPN and IPSec tab to enter VPN details, if not then go with above suggestion. IF your restricted to RSA then either built in VPN settings or 3rd party app for RSA would suffice.
Finally, there are many RDP applications out there I use "Mocha RDP Light" (free minimal ads when launched not when connecting).

Can guide , what is the business logic to "Choose Additional Balance Sheet and P&L Accounts/Choose Accounts" for profit center. all the Proft Loss accounts should be there? or what kind of PL should be there , and what kind of Balance sheet accounts should be defined for profit center.

at Choose Additional Balance Sheet and P&L Accounts/Choose Accounts we define which accounts or account intervals we want to transfer to Profit Center Accounting. It is imperative that we maintain all the GL accounts which need to be transferred to Profit center. Needless to say that if we donu2019t maintain the GL accounts here, the balance will not be transferred to PCA.
This setting is also particularly required, if no profit center is entered for a specific transaction in one of these GL accounts, the system posts to the default profit center for that account interval.
This particular configuration can also be called from the SAP easy access
menu by entering 3KEH in the command field.
Note that the GL codes for Customers and Vendors including Advances (special GL account) which are called Reconciliation accounts should not be maintained in the 3KEH table. Reason being the Customers and Vendors line items are not transferred to the PCA module online. We have to run month
end programs to transfer Customer and Vendor balance from FI module to PCA Module
These are GL codes which are reconciliation accounts for customer and vendors, that should be excluded from the 3KEH table.

What does Printer Document Center Code 0x6101bed mean. My printer carriage is terribly noisy.

My HP 7500 Wide Format Printer has a very noisy printer cartridge carriage.
The display screen comes up with Printer Document Center Code 0X6101BED.
Does anyone know what this code means, where to find and explanation and

For information about the Other category in the Storage display, see this support article. If the Storage display seems to be inaccurate, try rebuilding the Spotlight index.
Empty the Trash if you haven't already done so. If you use iPhoto, empty its internal Trash first:
iPhoto ▹ Empty Trash
Do the same in other applications, such as Aperture, that have an internal Trash feature. Then restart the computer. That will temporarily free up some space.
According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of available space on the startup volume (as shown in the Finder Info window) for normal operation—not the mythical 10%, 15%, or any other percentage. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of the data. There is little or no performance advantage to having more available space than the minimum Apple recommends. Available storage space that you'll never use is wasted space.
When Time Machine backs up a portable Mac, some of the free space will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. The space occupied by local snapshots is reported as available by the Finder, and should be considered as such. In the Storage display of System Information, local snapshots are shown as Backups. The snapshots are automatically deleted when they expire or when free space falls below a certain level. You ordinarily don't need to, and should not, delete local snapshots yourself. If you followed bad advice to disable local snapshots by running a shell command, you may have ended up with a lot of data in the Other category. Ask for instructions in that case.

You can more effectively use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) or GrandPerspective (GP) to explore the volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can also delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one. Note that ODS only works with OS X 10.8 or later. If you're running an older OS version, use GP.
Deleting files inside an iPhoto or Aperture library will corrupt the library. Any changes to a photo library must be made from within the application that created it. The same goes for Mail files.
Proceed further only if the problem isn't solved by the above steps.
ODS or GP can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
Back up all data now.
If you have more than one user account, make sure you're logged in as an administrator. The administrator account is the one that was created automatically when you first set up the computer.
Install the app you downloaded in the Applications folder as usual. Quit it if it's running.
Triple-click anywhere in the corresponding line of text below on this page to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator. Ignore any other messages that appear in the Terminal window.
The application window will open, eventually showing all files in all folders, sorted by size. It may take a few minutes for the app to finish scanning.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means. When in doubt, leave it alone or ask for guidance.
When you're done with the app, quit it and also quit Terminal.

In addition, an ISA Server and a TS Gateway server can be used together to enhance security for remote connections to internal network resources. However, it
seems that ISA 2006 cannot support that on Windows Server 2012 R2. For more detailed information:
