Hi,
Remote connection from PC or laptop to server must use citrix or terminal service. You can also use VPN to access the citrix server. In the VPN, you  can use forticlient SSL VPN :
http://portal.modeldriven.org/sites/default/files/SSL_VPN_Client_User_Guide.pdf
You must install ica client in your laptop before running the B1 from citrix. make sure that the user code to run B1 in the citrix must be registered in the citrix

    Hi,
One of my clients has an environment similar to yours with an internal pair of F5s and a pair used for the access from the internet.
I am only going to focus on the method using an F5 Load Balancer and SSL Offloading. the setup of the F5 will not be covered in detail but a reference to the documentation to support SharePoint and SSL Offloading will be provided
Since you arte going to be using SSL Offloading you do not need to extend your WebApps to use separate IIS WebSites with Unique IP Addresses
Configure the F5 with SSL Offloading
Configure a Internal AAM for SSL (HTTPS) for each WebApp that maps to the Public HTTP FQDN AAM Setting for each WebApp
Our environment has an additional component we require RSA Authentication for all internet facing Sites. So we have the extra step of extending the WebApp to a separate IIS WebSite and configuring RSA for each extended WebSite.Reference:

what will be the possible causes for this error. Can anybody please help me out with this error.
I want to get connected from my office as well as at home also.
    Pls help..!!
    Thanks!
    with Regards

    Hi Pawha,
This is the network connection problem, you need to do some settings if your server@home is behind a Router or something else,
I can connect from everyplace in the internet to my home. the server is within a local network of my home, through a D-LINK router. behind this router, there are many sap servers, so you need to tell the router which requests to which port should it be forward. this is called PORT MAPPING or NAT, you can google this for some more information.
And from your error messages, it shows "192.168.10.134:sapdb03' not reached", you certainly can not connect to this IP address from your office since 192.168.10.XX is a local network which belongs only to your home, it is not an internet IP address, so, you can not connect from your office unless you have done some VPN.
    please try the following step:
    1. NAT in router: logon to your web admin interface of your home router, mapping port number 3203 to port 3203 of host 192.168.10.134, this means every coming requests from internet to your home (port 3203), will be forwarded to host 192.168.10.134:3203, that is to say, this host will handle the this kind of sap request.
    2. Make sure that you have opened the port number 3203 on any firewalls (windows itself or any products else), because 32XX is the ABAP dispatcher port, it must be opened.
    3. ........umh.....I have not yet think it over, if you have troubles doing this, we can discuss for  detail later.
    Hope it will be helpful.
    Thanks and best regards,
    Nick

  • What authorization required to post idoc from XI via RFC?

    Hi all,
I need to post idoc to SAP R/3 system from XI. I have done all the steps correctly. While creating RFC in XI system to connect to the R/3 system, intially I gave my R/3 username and password and tested teh connection. Everything was working fine but when I actually ran the scenario, IDOC was not getting posted in the R/3. But there was no error anywhere.
fianlly after debugging I fould it might be the issue of authorization the the R/3 user i used in the RFC. I then assigned SAP_ALL authorization to my user and posted the iodc again and it started working fine.
Can anyone please tell me what are th exact authorizations/role i need to assign to the r/3 used to use it in RFC and successfully posting the idoc? I dont want to use SAP_ALL authorization in my production environemnt.
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Yash

    Hi,
Even i had faced this problem. Whenever I tried to send IDOCs, i used to get an error in SM58, " No authorization to send IDOC of type DEBMDM".
When i got SAP_ALL it worked. However I raised a note with SAP asking for an alternative and this is the reply gave me.
You can get good information on this topic in your online help files.
The following is taken from the document "General Security Measures
    (ALE)":
Use the transaction SALE to maintain the ALE configuration, to include setting up the distribution model and setting up ALE user authorizations and profiles. Note the following:
    - Be restrictive when assigning the ALE authorizations.
The authorization profile B_ALE_ALL contains the following
authorization objects that are needed for ALE:
    Authorizations for ALE
    Authorization Description
B_ALE_CGRP ALE Customizing Distribution: Group Activities
    B_ALE_LSYS ALE/EDI: Maintaining logical systems
    B_ALE_MAST ALE/EDI: Distributing master data
B_ALE_MODL ALE/EDI: Maintaining customer distribution model
B_ALE_RECV ALE/EDI: Receiving IDocs via RFC
B_ALE_REDU ALE/EDI: Generating messages (ex. reduction)
    S_PROGRAM ABAP: Program run checks
S_TABU_DIS Table Maintenance (using standard tools such as SM30)
    Protect external users and passwords.
For example, for a non-SAP system to send IDocs to a SAP System using transactional RFC, it must also send a SAP user ID and password.
In most cases, the user and password are stored outside of the SAP System. Make sure that this information is not accessible to external systems or programs. (How you can do this is dependent on the system that you have; therefore, you need to refer to the documentation for the system where the information is stored.)
However, I feel assigining the profile S_IDOC_ALL should also be enough. Just try and see.

    Merrilly

  • What is required to connect T420s DisplayPort to DVI-D port? (Sony Trinitron)

    Hello.
My wife and I have recently been watching Netflix movies on our laptop when it occurred to me: why don't we watch this on our 36" screen?  So I went out and purchased a DisplayPort to DVI-D cable.  Hooked it all up, selected the appropriate input on the TV and... nothing.
I know that I need to choose the appropriate refresh rate and resolution.  My questions are:
    - Is there anything else that I am missing?
    - The NVidia Control Panel is not as intuitive as it could be.  How do I configure NVidia/Windows to enable the DisplayPort?
Any feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
    CONTEXT
    - Laptop: T420s
    - Cable: DisplayPort to DVI-D (passive)
    - Operating System: Windows 7 (64 bit)
    - graphics chipsets: integrated INTEL chip, and discrete Nvidia NVS 4200M Optimus

    Hi Gamloi7.
Thank you for taking the time to reply to my posting.
    Config=>Display=>Graphics Card=Nvidia NVS 4200M
The T420s laptop has both an integrated GPU and a dedicated GPU.  I have tried using driving the display monitor using both... unfortunately it doesn't work.  All I see on the TV screen is black.
    TESTS PERFORMED
    - I have tried: Laptop (DisplayPort) >> to >> TV (DVI-D)... TV only displays a black screen
    - I have tried: Laptop (VGA) >> to >> TV (DVI-D)... TV only displays a black screen
    ADDITIONAL NOTES
    - Yes I have extended the desktop (via the Win+P shortcut).
    - For both test cases above, I disconnected the cable from the TV and connected it to my monitor to ensure that the signal was working... sure enough the monitor worked as expected
    - as I understand it the Sony Trinitron KV-36HS500 supports: 480p, 1080i, 720p
    - The following schematic is for the back of my TV. Do you happen to know if VGA or DisplayPort are compatible with any other standards?  For example... I don't suppose I can go from VGA or DisplayPort to S-Video ??

  • Can't connect wirelessly from laptop - only desktop

I have two problems I need help with. One I am working around (but would love to resolve) and another I cannot solve:
Firstly, I am having a problem when my desktop goes to sleep - upon wakening, I can't find my AEBS signal. I have had to reset and restart each time, and then it works fine. I should mention I have cable modem into my house --> AEBS - and I receive a wireless signal from my desktop. My work-around is that I simply have my desktop never sleep. I would love to be able to remedy that, but for now it's fine. I don't know what will happen if I shut down or restart, but that's an issue still unresolved.
The second (and more pressing) problem is that my laptop can't find the wireless signal - and I'm sitting next to it in my house. Not sure what steps to take from here. Tried restarting the laptop to no avail.
    Help!

Firstly, I am having a problem when my desktop goes to sleep - upon wakening, I can't find my AEBS signal.
If you're using Preferred Network, try the following, in order, until resolved:
    1. Delete Preferred Network(s)
    o System Preferences > Network > AirPort > Configure
o In the "By default, join:" pull-down menu, select "Preferred networks"
o Delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list
    2. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
o Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
o Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
o Restart, or log out then back in.
    3. Add Preferred Network(s)
    o System Preferences > Network > AirPort > Configure
o In the "By default, join:" pull-down menu, select "Preferred networks"
o Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
o Restart or log out then back in.
The second (and more pressing) problem is that my laptop can't find the wireless signal - and I'm sitting next to it in my house.
Which AirPort Extreme Base Station do you have: 802.11b/g (dome-shaped) or 802.11n (rectangular)? What radio mode is your AEBS operating on: 802.11b/g, 802.11n only, etc.? What is the exact model of your iBook. You can determine this by using the System Profiler utility.
From the utility, select Hardware from the left column, and note the value after "Model Identifier" in the right column.

  • What is the modem connecting sound from TC?

When my mac has been asleep for a while, it takes forever to wake up and while I am doing this the TC makes a modem connecting sound. Any idea what this could be and if I need to return? All the other items using the wifi dont have a problem.

No sound should come from the TC.. what model is it??
Modem sounds are done on the old dial up type, is that what you mean by modem sounds??
What model TC and what model Mac??
Did  you just upgrade to Yosemite?
If the other items don't have problems it sounds like the computer rather than the TC at fault.

  • Novice to wifi - what is required to connect to Internet?

I am thinking about buying an ITouch and don't know much about wireless. I live in an area where I have to use wireless broadband or dial up to get to the internet so am not too familiar with it.
    - Do I need some type of ISP to connect the internet on the ITouch?
    - I use an IMAC. Do I need to set up a wireless network at home to use the ITouch with it?
    - What else do I need to know? I looked for apple information on this topic but couldn't find it.
    - I want to know this before I go to the Apple store because the people there generally don't know anything. When I ask them questions they usually say something like "it's automatic", "It's seamless" and it never is.

At home you would need to set up a wireless router to your ISP. On the road you would access using a open public access point. These can be found at coffee shops, Airports etc. Usually coffee shops that have them will give you an access password if needed.
If you have troubles, try using this...

  • Connecting SAP with VB 2010

    Dear gurus
I'm Using Visual Basic 2010 and i want to connect SAP from my applications.
I have find that SAP net connector works only on VB 2003 not for upgraded version.
    Can you please guide me
    Regards
    Saad Nisar

    Hi Saad,
The current NCo version is limited to usage with .NET 1.1 and within VS2003.
However, there is a by SAP-documented workaround to enable the NCo to also utilize with .NET 2.0 and later runtime context / and within VS2005 and later: [Using SAP Connector for MS .NET (NCO) in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/92333e6b-0b01-0010-9cbf-fecd62d6c895]
Note also that SAP has a new version of NCo in the pipeline - .NET Connector 3.0 - it might be worth it to try to participate in the beta program. See [SAP announces new release of SAP .NET Connector|http://williamvanstrien.blogspot.com/2010/06/sap-announces-new-release-of-sap-net.html]

  • What User authorization objects needed for connecting to SAP from xMII?

We eneter a SAP user and password for connecting to SAP from xMII to retrieve the metadata of the incoming IDocs.
When I specify a user with SAP_ALL user profiles, the IDocs are received properly in xMII. If I specify a user with privileges to run only certain transactions, IDocs are not received in xMII.
What user authorization objects are needed for this user to connect to SAP from xMII?
    Thanks,
    Sara

    Sam,
I turned on the SAP System trace for this user and figured out the following auth. objects are required for receiving IDocs in xMII:
    C_TCLA_BKA
    S_RFC
    S_CTS_ADMI
    B_ALE_MAST
    S_IDOCDEFT
The following auth. object is required for making JCO call to SAP from xMII:
