I have been joined in a medium level company as a java developer.
After 7 months they put me in oracle team.
But our company doesn't use oracle efficiently. So i don't have much knowledge in oracle concepts.
But day by day i love oracle and forget java. I wish to move my carrier with oracle.
Now my question is,
To be selected as a oracle DBA and working as oracle DBA in MNC's, In which topics i should be strong ? what are the things i should know in oracle?

What should be needed for cost reports to be activated in Business Content?
Hi experts,
I am completely new to Business Content so sorry if I ask a silly question. Currently we are trying to migrate custom fixed queries to queries from Cubes in Business Content, because the company has growed in the past years.
Our first stage is to have the new queries that report costs for the company.
The reports should consider manufacturing costs such as
- maintenance
- outsourced special services (providers)
- new machinery
(not energy or service costs)
This reports should include country, plant, date, amount, etc.
I have been searching for the modules or cubes that should be activated for this requirement. So far i found that in MM there is a cube 0SRV_C01 that includes external services.
The data from the InfoCube External Services enables you to carry out analyses of services. Using this data, you can obtain answers to questions such as the following: "How much of each service was ordered from a certain vendor?" "What was the order value per service for a certain plant?"
However there should be another information where manufacturing costs could be exploited.
¿Can anyone give me some advice on how to resolve this requirement? ¿ does anyobody know which cube(s) include the information I am looking for?

PO issue :What should we do to close the PO or change item quantity?
Hi Everyone,
I am new to MM.I got an issue saying that there is some mismatch with quantity in the particular PO. User wants to cancel/close the PO system but it is not allowing to do so. To change the quantity is also good, but while trying to change item quantity system is giving the following error message.
Quantity 1000 is smaller than quantity issued 2000.
To close the PO or change item quantity what should I need to do?
A help will be highly appreciated

It is of the standard functionality of SAP to verify the GR and IR against PO quantity when you try to close your related PO line item. It ensures data consistency for your PO and PO history. What you should do is very much subject to the status of your PO history (i.e. how many you have already GRed and/or IRed). Check it again in your PO history tab of the PO item details level prior to making any further action on how your PO line item quantity shall be adjusted. A particular example is if GR was done for the quantity of 2,000, you can't simply adjust your PO quantity into 1,000 as it goes against the logic whereby the GR quantity (and/or IR quantity) must be no larger than PO quantity.

Some times when I press the home button to read my finger the screen becomes black and it shows the Apple logo, this take a few seconds to get back the screen and this has been happening even 3 or 4 times in a row!
What should I do?Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

I noticed that Find My iPhone on iCloud hasn't worked since iOS 8 came out. Whenever I try to use it, it always says "All Devices Offline." This is regardless of whether I am in a good Wi-Fi zone or not. I like to use Find My iPhone to remotely track my battery charging status whenever my phone is charging in a different room. That's been really handy, which is why I really need to get this fixed. No matter what computer I use, the problem is always the same.
My device uses iOS 7. My question is: do I need to upgrade my device? If not, what should I do? I do not wish to upgrade my device, especially considering the bad things I've heard about iOS 8.
Feedback would be welcome ASAP.You don't need to update to iOS 8 to use Find My iPhone. If you haven't already tried, go to Settings>iCloud>Find My iPhone and turn it off, then reset your phone (hold the sleep/wake and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release). After it restarts, turn Find My iPhone back on and see if it works properly now.

iTunes is shipped with a "helper application" called the "iPod Service" that runs and is used by iTunes to communicate with the iPod device. This service may be disabled.
If your system is Microsoft Windows XP and you are logged in as an Administrator:
1. Quit iTunes and, if your iPod is currently connected to your computer, safely remove it using the system tray application to manage removable devices.
2. Right click on "My Computer"
3. Select "Manage"
4. In the "Computer Management" window, left pane (tree view), follow this path:
+Computer Management (local) > Services and Applications > Services+.
5. In the right pane, scroll down to "iPod Service" and double click it.
6. If the service is listed as "Disabled" and "Stopped," change to "Manual" and "Start" it. ("Manual" will cause it to start when iTunes starts and "Start" starts the service right now.)
7. Close "Computer Management"
8. Restart iTunes and wait for it to completely come up.
9. Reconnect your iPod.

Exactly! The password I used to log on here and write my post I figured was the same Apple ID password I would use to reset my computer login password. But my computer isn't recognizing it as the correct password so it wont let me update my login password. I have 2 user accounts on my computer.

I did these steps, but I don't remember my admin password. The question is: How do I reset my admin password so I can reset my log in password.

I put the password in my Ipod and now I am trying to put it again but it is not working....I tried to connect with the Itunes and it is not working because to the Itunes work with my Ipod, I need the password first, which I do not know. I wonder if you are running an OS earlier than 10.9.x? If so, you cannot run the *latest* version of Pages, which is 5.1. Apple is trying to get you to update your OS to 10.9 Mavericks and then get you to update (but defintiely not upgrade) your Pages version to 5.1. 5.1 is, in everything but name, beta software. It not only has many bugs, it also lacks more than 90 features that are present in version 4.3 ("Pages 09"). One workaround that is to open the file with Pages for icloud (this is explcitly beta) and click tools|download a copy in Word format. Pages 4.3, which is probably the version you have, can open Word documents. Get a cup of coffee or a glass of wine before starting Pages for icloud: it is s-l-o-w.
