What should be the time that my iPad 1 should work with wifi before it requires to be recharged
My battery life for wifi plus 3G has come down to 6 hours. My iPad is 9 months old and have used it moderately
It depends on what you are using the iPad for. Video will discharge the battery faster then say surfing the net.

It's the weirdest thing. When I drag a photo from the SD card into Picasa library so I can edit it, the picture that shows up is a different one that I don't need to use. Instead of seeing the photo that I need, I am seeing a statue of Janice Joplin at the wax museum! WTH?

new Ipad 3 connects to wifi stays connected for about 3 to 15 minutes and then looses connection, constantly happens. other products connect just fine even both iphones on wifi stay connected

Not sure what the answer is to your problem apart from suggesting a downgrade to iOS 5 - but that's not currently available because that would be too easy!
In the meantime I assume Apple are aware of these wifi issues and may well be bringing out an iOS 6 update, well enough people are posting on these official Apple discussion forums!

regard.I'm afraid, I don't follow you very well. Anyway, if you have a db, with a running listener, you should be able to connect from any client over your local network (even through different OS). In that case, you'll need a client software (i.e. Oracle client runtime installation). Regarding the DMS, you should be able to find it onto the client after Peopletools/Peoplesoft application installation.

Its seems really stupid to me that Apple supports people using other computers rather then their own mac costumers.....the iPhone 4 has never been supported in iTunes 9.2 on OS 10.4.11...

The HTC hotspot works fine with everything else I connect to it.

I have to say this is my first venture into Apple products and I have always wanted to get away from my windows based laptop to get a MacBook, the problems I have had (flash player etc) & continue to have (as above) are putting me right off swapping over. What happens when the Time Machine drive is full?
I'm on my second iMac. My first one (G5, 1984) died, and I replaced it early 2010 with an Intel mac. The transition when exceedingly well largely due to Time Machine. I just hooked the Time Machine drive to the new system, and I was soon back up running!
My home folder has 70GB of data. The Macintosh drive has 105GB of data and 395GB free. The Time Machine drive has 220GB used and 30GB free.
1. What happens when the Time Machine drive is full?
2. Do I have control over what backups get deleted?
3. If lightning strikes twice, will I still be able to restore my Intel mac like my G5 mac, even if backups get deleted?
4. Is there anyway to control what backups/backup files get deleted?
5. Any other thoughts?

Do you mean all of them? The entire Backups.backupdb folder?
That's a large mess. First, even a normal delete will take a very long time, as there are probably hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of files. Your best bet by far is to simply erase them with Disk Utility -- that will only take a few moments. If your TM drive has a single partition, see #1 in [Formatting, Partitioning, Verifying, and Repairing Disks|http://web.me.com/pondini/AppleTips/DU.html]. If there are other partition(s) on the drive, see #2 there.
If not, and you only deleted some of the folders, you have a different, worse problem. Unfortunately, Apple doesn't do a very good job of warning folks: +*Never move, change, or delete anything in your backups via the Finder or Terminal.+*
You shouldn't have to delete backups at all, since Time Machine will do that automatically when the disk/partition gets full. But you can do it without harm via Time Machine. See #12 in [Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions|http://web.me.com/pondini/Time_Machine/FAQ.html] (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum).
A normal delete will take a very long time, as there are probably tens or hundreds of thousands of items, each of which must be individually deleted. A secure delete will take much, much longer, as each deleted file must be overwritten with zeros. -
How to identify the times that a item appears in a report.

Let me explain the scenario.
We have developed several reports for its use by the several users of the company. So, we have reports for Management, Administration, Commercials and our Production Users. Let's focus in last ones. Several reports shows the production of our semi-elaborated and elaborated products and the stock of the components needed to build those semi-elaborated and elaborated products.
Our Production users, wants to know how to include a calculated column that shows the times that an item appears in the report (or if there is a way to show in the report, how many times an item appears in it).
We have just trried to create a calculated column including in it the COUNT_DISTINCT function (using its both expressions), but we do not understand all the parameters.
So can anyone in the community help us?

It all depends on what information you have in your report and what data items are available in the database.
If you have a grouped report (group sort) so that you have one line for each product, then you can use COUNT_DISTINCT(item_id) as a grouped function. This will give you the number of different not null item_id's found in the group.
However, if your report is not grouped by product, so for example, you have many component lines for each product but you want to show one figure for all the product components lines then you need to use COUNT_DISTINCT(item_id) as an analytic function. The COUNT_DISTINCT(item_id) OVER (PARTITION BY product_id) will give you the number of not null item_id's for each product_id in the report.
If you have the time when an item is added to the database then you may want to use the group function MIN(time_of_item) to show the earliest time in the report.

Count the time that the output is active
I have made a program with a state machine, but I have one problem. I don't know how I can count the time that the output is active. I have tried several things, but the timer doesnt do what I want. The one time it counts up, also when the output is not active, or it starts counting again (start at 0) everytime its active.
Furthermore I have made a delay before the output is active and a delay when a other output is active. The first time it runs it works, but the next time it also doenst work. I think the source of this problem is the same as the one from the counter but I dont know for sure.
Can anybody help me with this? See the attachment for my VI. The counter is in case "pump up 10".
