What should i do if my ipod locks me out

i dont know what to do if i cant remember my passcode numbers to let me in my ipod and at the moment i am locked out and cant get any of my apps, my messages, my face time calls or my music! i am really struggling could someone suggest something to me to help?!

Connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:
iOS: Unable to update or restore and iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.

Perhaps your iPod is turned Off? Try pressing the On/Off switch on the top side until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

What should i do if my ipod touch 4 gen. has a white screen and it goes away rarely. Should i return it and get a new one?

If the problem persits after restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod then you likely have a hardware problem.  In that case an appointment at the Genius Bar of an apple store or returing it to Apple is in order.

You'll have to get it serviced by Apple, you'll have to pay for the replacement device:
Apple - Support - iPod - Repair pricing
Apple - Support - Service Answer Center
You can also search for a 3rd party repair company in the Internet.

Have you added or changed your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge (the Rs 60) may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

For the second charge for 55, you used the same account to re-download the app ? If you did then you can contact iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

what do i do if the phone locks me out due to using the wrong password?

Do you mean the lock screen? If you have forgotten the password you have to restore the device and delete everything. Before you say "that's dumb, apple!" be happy it's not possible to hack because if someone stealsyourphone at least they can't hack it.

  • What should i do if my iPod is stuck on the apple and doesn't need a update

My iPod all of a sudden blacked out now it's stuck on the apple sign, i tried plugging it in to iTunes but it says it does'nt need an update. What should i do to fix it?

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • What should i do if my ipod says it is disabled connect to itunes but my computer has broke

    what should i do

You'll have to connect to another computer in order to restore. But do this first before you connect, in order not to erase your device.
Make sure the new computer is authorized in iTunes. Disable autosync in itunes, connect your ipod, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.
This will save data, pictures and settings to itunes. See what's included in this backup here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your ipod got wiped during the first sync.
The rest of the data can be restored from the backup you made.
    Restoring: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.
