What should I do sound is not working and I upgraded to iOS 7?

My iPod 5th just upgraded to iOS 7 but it is the forth day sense I have gotten the iOS 7 and I wanted to lesson to my music then it would not play and then I when're to YouTube it played but I did not hear any thing so I tryed putting my ear phones on but it still did not work I tried the volume on the side of my iPod but still do not work so I gave up after 15-20 time and decided to ask for help so please help me to fix it it is starting to **** me of ??!!!:( :( ???!!;?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Hi, has anyone experienced issues with there volume control icon randomly popping up after upgrading to ios 6.1 from 6.0 .
I have a 4th gen ipod touch which until upgrading to 6.1 from 6.0 was working perfectly.
Minutes after the upgrade I noticed the volume icon just popping up for no reason. I can turn the volume up now, but not down and it randomly appears on screen without anyone touching it. Weird! Can someone shed some light on this issue,I have reset and reloaded to factory several times now to no avail.

I am having this same issue on my iPhone 4. The most recent update to iOS 6.1 didn't fix it either. Has anyone found a fix for this problem? It doesn't happen often, maybe every third day or so but requires power off, power on to bring the sound back.

Camera lock screen iPhone 5 not working properly after upgrade to iOS 8

After I installed iOS 8 on the iPhones 5 of my and my wife's the camera on the lock screen isn't working properly anymore. When I swipe up, the camera starts but the screen turns black within less then a second.
On the iPad 2 and the iPad Air (both upgraded to iOS 8) I don't have this problem. It seems to be iPhone 5 specific.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Having the same problem. I'm on an iPhone 5 and I have updated to 8.0.2. When I go to apps directly from the lock screen (timer, calculator, camera) it opens up then immediately turns into a black screen. It appears that removing my passcode fixes this bug, but I can't have an unsecured phone. Please help Apple!

I think Apple should be concerned with this problem since I see quite a few users are getting in trouble with their 3G network.

That is only displayed on the iPhone 4S, that is why. It has to do with the iPhone 4S's ability to connect to the higher speed network.

Actually, i upgrade my iPhone to 8.1.3.
What i am trying achieve is, when my iPhone is locked i just need to access my camera without login.
When i open camera when my iPhone is locked, camera displays for 2 seconds and then my screen will be black.

When my iphone 4 is not plugged in to headphones the sound does not work, and if I try to adjust the sound with the plus and minus buttons in the side it comes up like normal saying "Ringer" but then there is no bar underneath it. Sometimes the sound will work for a couple of minutes. However, there is definitely no problem with the speaker as the alarm always works perfectly fine.

I've noticed that all the alerts sounds are not working anymore after upgrading my iPhone 4S to iOS 7.1.2
I’ve reviewed similar posts regarding the same issue; and it seems this is a common issue in iPhone 4S when upgrade to iOS 7.1.2.
Apple, please Advise if there anything I can do to resolve the issue especially that my work deepens on the push emails and alerts that requires prompt response.

I got this issue resolved.
It caused due to some dirt in the charger slot; such dirt caused the phone to assume as if it is connected to a car kit and that is why it does not produce any sound except the Ringer and the Alarm.
It has been fixed by cleaning the charger slot by toothbrush! with some
drops of a cleaner.
Do not do it by yourself, as it might be a risk; rather, let it to be done by an expert.

I have a 5 yr old pdf made with Photoshop Album 2. The sound does not work and also an attached video does not play (only shows as a still image). This pdf used to work perfectly when I got it but since of course I have change computer, os and acrobat versions many times. I think it worked fine when using Windows XP, don't know which version of Acrobat Reader. Currently running Windoiws7 and Reader 9.3
I got this sent to me so I only have the pdf, no original files etc.
Anybody know how to get this working?

Glad to have helped. One more thing to try, after drying your iPod. Try plugging and unplugging the headphone jack quickly about 12 times, it could be that the switch inside the port is stuck, many times this action will un-stick it. If the problem continues you may need to look into purchasing an out of warranty iPod, refurbished one are cheaper. Also, if you have not already done so, BACKUP ALL YOUR STUFF from this iPod to your computer, water damaged iPods have a habit of stop working without any notice. Hope this helps, Good luck.
