What should my next phone be?

I've had the N8 for a while now and although i love the phone, I'm due for an upgrade. There are a number of options, Samsung galaxy s2, HTC sensation, iphone 5(when it's released). I'm basically looking for a top end phone with all the bells and whistles.
I've been a Nokia fan since mid 90's and have always had a Nokia. The thing about the N8 is it's solid build quality, something you don't get with other manufacturers. I've never had an issue with the N8 from day one.
My question is, should i wait for the next best Nokia or go for one from another manufacturer? I'm not a fan of windows mobile.

The phone you need is the one that fulfills all your requirements, this isn't the best place to ask ? I'm trying an HTC Desire HD at the moment as WP doesn't appeal, but hope Nokia bring out something else that appeals before the 'Death of Symbian'. Steve Litchfield rated SGSII as the best smartphone in the world at the moment, but things move so quickly it will be out of date in a few months, that's the way yech goes !! You could even give the 'upgrade' a miss and get a massive reduction in your tarrif and wait and see if Symbian Belle turns the N8 into a completely different phone ? There are 1000's out there, but as yet nothing to beat the camera you have at the moment, and from my limited experience, the main benefit with Andoid is the web experience, visiting the phone blog sites will give loads of info, and you will be spoilt for choice, but no doubt waiting a few months will give even more choice, and I'm now in the privaliged position of being 'out of contract' and intend saving up to buy handsets cash, and manage on PAYG saving £15 to £20 per month on my old contract.

What should my next mac be? Graphic Design Student.

Right now I am still rocking the 2.26 Ghz Intel core 2 duo macbook pro 13". I upgraded the memory to 8 gig and it still runs fairly well.
I am still in college, and have recently adopted a minor in graphic design so I have been using heaving software on my mac which I can tell has slowed it down a lot. I have mostly been using Adobe products (Photoshop, illustrator ect..) and it seems to be doing alright. However I have also been starting to use Maya for 3D animation and well it hasn't been holding up too well. Also the 13" screen isn't exactly ideal for design aspects.
So right now, I'm trying to figure out what I should do. My options are the following,
Option 1:
Keep my 13" macbook pro to take to and from school- and purchase a 21.5 in Imac for use at home.
Option 2:
Or sell my 13" macbook and upgrade to a 15" macbook pro.
If I got with option 2, my next question is:
Should I go with the 15 in 2.6 ghz processor, or should I go with the 15in 2.3 ghz processor with a retina display?
Storage isn't too big of a deal because I use an external hard drive to store most of my files.And with the student pricing they are both the same price.
Any help or recommendations would be phenomenal!

I would go with option 1 with a little catch. Upgrade to SSD on your 13 inch so you can take advantage of the 8GB and SSD speed.
Once you get home, you can do the rest with your new Imac.
If you go with option 2, you're stuck with 1 machine. That's why I went with option 1.

My Story, what should be my next steps?

I have been working for a pharmaceutical company for nearly 2 years in a transport/inventory control role. My company was in the middle of an integration project (take over from a larger company) when I arrived, immediately I was thrown into the world of SAP, I sat under an SAP consultant and he taught me how to navigate and understand SAP from managing inventory to raising requisitions. After go-live we were very much 'abandoned' by the integration team, they had another integration to do immediately after us at another production plant. There were 2 people trained to use SAP on our site, one of which was myself, unfortunately, a few months later the other trained person left the company. This left me on my own to figure out problems and troubleshoot on my own. This was difficult but very rewarding. I then had to learn a lot of things by myself as support teams took days to get back to me, the problem solving aspect was very fun, even when it was frustrating. After a year or so, the company realized we didn't have enough SAP support and more people got training, but for the past year I have been the 'go to' guy for any SAP problems. I am now part of a team that is re-integrating cGMP compliant SAP on site (risk assessments + testing), unfortunately I am still in the transport/inventory role. The consultants I have met have also noted I am certainly way beyond the average SAP user on site and I look promising.
What should my next steps be?
I am desperate to get a career in SAP, I really love the system, I find I learn things very quickly and have found a passion and excitement while doing it. Is certification the right direction?

You are already work on SAP. If I am in your position, I would grab the opportunity. You have every opportunity to learn on a live environment. If you work hard and I am sure you would be more confident in the next coming years. It would be a real opportunity for you to learn many thing. I know it is difficult time being a lone person, but, you have ample opportunity.
If you are confident, going for certification is NOT a bad a idea. You can pass the certification and prove the commitment that you have for continuous learning. Your employer would surely recognize your efforts. But, in my opinion, you should work at the same place for next an year or so. Then, you can think of continuing or moving to other employer.

In trying to reinstall OSX to our Mac Mini, the computer accepts, reads and then rejects the disc, nothing but blue on the screen. What should I do next?

Our 2009 Mac Mini became quite sluggish and then just wouldn't function. I tried reloading the OS with the original disc from Apple, but the computer rejected the disc and the screen was all blue. Next, I shut down the machine, inserted the disc, turned it on, the screen is a faint gray in color, Apple logo in the middle, the disc came out. What should I next try?

The Apple logo is not contained in your Mac's ROM. Seeing it indicates that your Mac found a bootable device, and loaded the initial blocks from that device. I expect you booted from the damaged hard drive.
Use the Option key held down at Startup to get clarity over exactly what drives can be seen, and what your Mac thinks they contain. Wait for it to draw an icon for every potentially-bootable Volume. Deliberately select the device you want to use as the Boot Drive.
You must have a wired keyboard plugged directly into the chassis to use snag keys at Startup. A wireless keyboard that is already paired can be used, but the exact timing is more difficult.

I deleted my media db3 file but I still dont have fx and filters what should I do?

Barbara told me since I could not get my fx and filters to appear when I click them in the full edit mode I should delete my media db3 file and let it repopulate itself after it launches. It didn't, what should do next? I also deleted that file from my trash and it is not in my finder file any more.

That was the problem. Once I changed the read write status of the user acct and then deleted the media db3 file in that user acct and relaunched the program it repopulated the effects and filters pallate.

If I understand correctly you want all 6 devices to have access to a single calendar that each device gets notifications for and can edit. You can do that with an private iCloud shared calendar. First sign into www.icloud.com and use these steps from the following article to share a calendar:
iCloud: Share a calendar with others
Share a calendar privately
Click the Share button to the right of the calendar name in the sidebar, then select Private Calendar.
Note: You can also share the same calendar publicly. For instructions, see the next task, “Share a calendar publicly.”
Type the invitee’s email address in the Add Person field and press Return.
Click the pop-up menu with the invitee’s name and choose access privileges (View & Edit or View Only).
For each person you want to share the calendar with, repeat steps 2 and 3.
When you’ve invited everyone and set their privileges, click OK.
Invitation emails are sent from your iCloud email address to the participants you specified.

You can't do anything.
The phone may have been turned off, be out of a signal area or have been restored in which case it cannot be tracked.
Assume it is gone and change your password for all services used on it, if it wasn't passcode protected.

Spent hours trying everything suggested and finally this morning hit on a solution. iTunes must be run as an administrator. Even though you are logged into your PC as an administrator, using the iTunes shortcut does not make you an administrator in iTunes. I found this out by using the diagnostics in iTunes and reading through the results report.
I am using Windows 7, so I clicked the start button and right clicked on iTunes and selected "Run as an adimistrator". The first restore attempt got the 4013 error. I then did the DFU thing, hold power and home buttons for 10 seconds, release power and continue holding home for 10 more seconds.
iTunes gave me the restore message and I clicked it. I clicked the restore iPhone button and it started. The drivers loaded a couple of times. I got the apple logo with the progress bar and this time instead of disappearing, it started to fill in.
End result, a successful restore to factory settings and a happy 14 year old.

My iPhone 4g cannot connect to wi fi. It is greyed out. I've spent the day at Apple, backing up my iPhone to my computer, resetting network, and rebooting everything many times. What is the next best step? The Apple tech at the store said that my phone no longer has a warranty and I should either get another 4G or go to a 5c. Well it could still be a software problem if you installed a third party program after the OS X wipe and install, because by booting into Safe Mode it disables certain functions of OS X and hardware. Check for updates or problems for all your third party software, include everything, including menulets, System Preference panes, hacks and so forth.
If you restored any sort of software from backup like TimeMachine, it likely was corrupted data and now is returned.
If the college tech support found a lot of dust clogging the rear exhaust vents behind the fans, then likely the heat damage done to the machine has already occured and can't be reversed. Video cards are usually first to go, which Safe Mode does disable the video card somewhat.
Run through this list of fixes, it's systematic in nature, also has a Hardware Test to see what's going on
