What should you do if you forget the graphic unlock pattern?

There are 2 methods to unlocking the Ace if you have forgotten the unlock pattern.
The first is
After 5-6 attempts of failing the pattern there is a button that appears that says
Forgot Pattern
Tap on the picture below.
You will be asked to sign in using your gmail account email address and password (the account that you created or signed into when you first started using the phone)
If for some reason you do not know this information, the only other way to bypass this is to perform a reset (this will clear any stored data on the phone, your contacts may remain if they were stored on the sim card)
The second is
To perform the reset
Power off the phone
Hold the volume down key
Turn the phone back on
Using the volume down key, highlight Clear Storage and press the power key to select
Press the volume up key
This will remove anything that was on the phone and will prompt you to create another pattern if you choose to. If you never want to use the pattern unlock again simply press cancel.

If he's forgotten the passcode then he will need to connect the iPad to the computer that he normally syncs to and he should then be able to reset the iPad and re-sync his content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - he may need to put the iPad into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808

Actually the thing is that when we are so eager about designing and start using PS then it's hard to tell that what tool we use the most and what tool we like the most to use! Besides my personnal opinion is to use Lasso tool would be my favorite

With 10.4, 10.5 or 10.6 put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. Be sure to either use the disc that came with your Mac, or, if you installed a later Mac OS X version from disc, use the newer disc. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option Key until the Install Disk shows up) until the apple shows up. That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Reset Password. After resetting the password use Startup Disk from the same menu to choose your hard drive for startup and restart.

What should I have done to share the apps and should I have been charged? 2 months ago when I got a new iphone, i was told in order to get all my apps back as I hadn't backed up my files, if I used the same apple id I would 'purchase' the app, but then would not be charged as apple would recognise that I have already purchased the app. That worked, but when I did the same thing on my ipad 2 using the same apple Id, I was charged... what should I have done and is this right as I thought the whole point of having multiple apple devices was I could share apps between devices. please help! thanks.

Using the same Apple id and Password you should be able to download purchased apps without being charged again.
I download to an iPad/iPad2/iPhone3 & iPhone4 with no problem.
