What step-down convertor to use Australian MacAir in US

I want to use my 240 V MacAir (Australian) in US when I travel there. What size step-down convertor to I need? Will 300W be enough or safer to get a 500W?

If you are using the Apple supplied charger, there is no need for a step-down convertor. Apple charger units are capable of using voltages from 100-240 Volts AC. You will simply need a plug adapter for the US power system.

For travel in Spain will the ipod 4 wall charger step down voltage?
From experience I do not need a step down adapter when using the Apple power cord on an ibook or Mac Book, but am not confident the same applies for the iphone 4 wall charger.

i don't think you do, just the adaptor, i've gone to china, germany, switzerland and have never needed th step down.

Step down(to save record) using mouse not same as step down using keyboard?

I noticed something very funny in our Siebel application, I have written a script on the WriteRecord event of a BC. Apparently the record is written to the DB only when the 'Ctrl + S' or 'Ctrl + Up/Down Arrow key' is used for a step down. When I do a step down suing the mouse (by clicking on the next record) the record does not get saved.
We are using Siebel Sales 7.7. Has anyone else come accross this issue. What I am more interested to know is that if this is a product defect or a mistake in my script. And after using the WriteRecord() in the WriteRecord() event code the record gets correctly saved

I have a Macbook Air purchased in 2011 in the US. I am traveling in South Africa and am unsure if I need a step down voltage converter before I plug my laptop into the wall to charge it (using an outlet adapter). Am I ok to just plug in?

So standard electrical output from wall outlets in the US is 110V - 120V, and standard output from wall outlets in South Africa is 220V - 240V. In SA I know I can plug in an iPhone using the iPhone charging cable and it will automatically step down the voltage, thus preventing my phone from overheating. I cannot plug in a hairdryer or flat iron without step down voltage converter in SA. Can I use the charger that came with my US 2011 Macbook Air and plug into a wall outlet in South Africa or do I need to purchase a step down voltage converter in order to charge my laptop while in SA?

Verizon has confirmed (here and here) they WILL unlock the SIM on the iPhone 4S, allowing for use of local SIM cards while traveling abroad (no word yet on whether this will allow for use on AT&T and T-Mobile.) This is different than the jailbreak unlocking method; SIM unlocking through Verizon is permanent and will not affect your warranty in any way.
1. Meet the following requirements:
* Must be a Verizon Wireless customer.
* The iPhone 4S being unlocked must be active on a Verizon Wireless line of service.
* The line of service must be active at least 60 days.
* The line of service must be in good standing for the past 60 days.
* Only one SIM Unlock per line every 10 months.
If you don't meet one or more of the above requirements, call anyway. You may still get lucky.
2. Insert a foreign SIM into the SIM card slot on the side of your phone (only required to confirm that the unlock is successful.)
3. Call 1-800-711-8300 (Verizon Global Support) and ask the representative for a SIM unlock. Occassionally a representative may not know exactly what you are referring to; make sure you are not transferred to a different department. You are in the right place. Explain that they should have a walkthrough on how to do this, and that it allows for the use of local, non-Verizon SIM cards while traveling abroad.
4. Get confirmation from the rep that the unlock has been applied to your account, then check your phone to make sure it recognizes your SIM and can connect (if successful it will roam on AT&T, assuming you are calling from the USA.) You will NOT see an unlock confirmation in iTunes as that is for a factory-applied unlock only.
5. Enjoy your new unlocked iPhone 4S!

When you open a raw file it will open in Adobe camera raw. That is where you can do most of the editing. Then it will be placed inside Photoshop where you can do more if needed.
Now you can use the save for web dialog to export your image as a png or jpg to use on those sites.

You will need to remove the address as your rescue email address first, which you can do by logging into your account via http://appleid.apple.com, selecting the Password & Security section and answering the security questions.

You can then try putting it as your primary email address, which you can do either via that site, by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and logging into, or via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes. If you don't do it directly on your phone you might then need to log out of your account by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in with the updated version.
