What SWO1 object uses by std. SAP to send email if OB IDOC get fails?

Hello,
We have SWO1 object IDOCAPPL in SWETYPECOU and we can use it to send an emaill to user's inbox, if IDOC get fails at all.
But, this object is ONLY for inbound IDOCs.
Am looking for similar object(SWO1) but my IDOCs are outbound, pls. let me know what object i can use from SWETYPECOU table to trigger email if my IDOC get fails? Here IDOC and FM are custom ones.
or pls. let me know What SWO1 object uses by standard SAP to trigger email if outbound IDOC get fails (sales orders)?
Thank you

  • What is the use varients in sap?

what is the use varients in sap?

Hi Prashanth, this will clear ur doubt.
You can create any number of selection sets (variants) for a program. The variants are allocated to the program uniquely.
Creating variants makes sense when you frequently start a program with the same selection default values.
You can mark Start with variants in the program attributes. Users (system, services, reporting) can then start the program only with a variant.
If the program uses several selection screens, you can choose to create a variant for all the selection screens or individually for each selection screen.
    Naming conventions and transporting variants
    "SAP&xxx" are supplied by SAP
"CUS&xxx" are created by customers (in client 000)
Variants that follow these naming conventions are client-independent and will automatically be transported along with the report. If these naming conventions are not followed, an entry for a request (task) must be added to the object list: LIMU VARI .
You have to assign a name and a description to each variant. By default, variants are available for both online and background processing. You can also define a variant exclusively for use with background processing.
You can protect the variant itself and the individual selection criteria and parameters against unauthorized changes. If you select Display only in catalog, this variant will not be displayed in the general value help (F4).
The type of a selection is determined in its declaration: Type s for SELECT-OPTIONS, type p for PARAMETERS. If you select Selections protected, then the field(s) will not be ready for input. You can use the hide attribute to suppress selection criteria and parameters on the screen, if required, resulting in a less cluttered selection screen.
When you use selection variables, there are three basic ways of supplying your selections with values at runtime:
    From table TVARV (type T)
Date fields using dynamic date calculation (type D), such as today's date
User-specific variables (type B); Prerequisite: The selection must be declared with the MEMORY ID addition.
    kindly reward if found helpful.
    cheers,
    Hema.

My boss is using Mac machine, whenever I send email from my windows machine he receives email as winmail.dat, is there any solutions for this ?

Upgrading my work PC is NOT an option, but I'd like my Mac to be able to recognise the attachment for what it is
Let see, you are using a proprietary file format that is only supposed to work with Outlook. It doesn't work for millions of Windows or Mac or Linux email users that depend on other email programs like Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, webmail, etc.
Microsoft has had to publish instructions so that their program's users can make themselves compatible with the rest of the world.
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290809
You are causing your own problem by not making a simple change in your program's options. Changes in the Outlook preferences can be made either Globally or by the Recipient.
Follow these steps in Outlook 2007 to turn off TNEF:
    1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
    2. Click the Mail Format tab.
    3. In the Compose in this message format box, click Plain Text or HTML, and then click OK.
Don't know of a better way to fix this problem for everyone concerned. Even if you get the fix to work with your machine, you will not enable all of the people receiving your emails to be able to work with you. That's a losing battle that's been caused by Microsoft.
Now if Microsoft created a Mail plugin for other email programs like they do for their video format's and services (flip4mac, Office Live Plugin, etc), then I would consider using their email program to deal with my clients. Until then, I need to be compatible with many different programs in other countries, on different platforms. Maybe that's going to change when they bring out the new Office 2011 with Outlook for the Mac...

  • I have 2 macbooks using airport.  I can send emails from 1 mac to the other but not vice versa.  Any ideas why?

When we set up the airport we used to be able to send emails from my macbook to my husband's macbook and vice versa but can't now.  We have different email addresses and it was convenient to be able to forward emails etc. Can anyone tell me if it is the airport or the way we have our macs set up.  Thank you.

I really don't think it's the router. Most likely, it will have to do with the email client that you are using on each of your Macs. Unless you are running an eMail server on your local network, both of your eMail clients are using mail servers on the Internet.
If you are both using OS X Mail, you may want to post in that forum area as well to see if the Mail experts over there can help.

  • What RapidMart is using to connect SAP R/3?

Hi, We used Data services for mostly OLTP system and now we are thinking of using it for SAP R/3 system. I read that the most efficient method for large amount of data is to use SAP ABAP call using SAP R/3 Data flow. We can create ABAP program from DS and load in SAP system. We want to know what rapidmarts are using. I don't think rapidmart is using ABAP method to connect SAP R/3 and get data.
    Can someone clarify?
    Thanks,

  • How to use the bex broadcasting to send emails

    Hi Gurus,
i made a web report, in this report , i have to send an email to some directions based in what characteristic get the value = 1,
    example:
           KF
    x=    1        send email to   pp@....
    y=    1        send email to   gg@....
The web report is ready, now how can i use the bex broadcasting to do this funtion, please step by step, i'll really appreciate it! thanks !

    Hi Jorge,
I am not a guru still would like to answer your query...
You selected Broadcast by E-Mail as the distribution type when you created the broadcast setting then need to send to your systems administrator, he is the one who is responsibile to make this if and then functions coordinate with him-> Various settings need to be made in system administration in order to use information broadcasting. Furthermore, there are a number of broadcast functions that can be made by business experts and in system administration.
If you want to guide him then.. when you make the precalculations for setting the broadcast there in Variable Assignment you can mention this as a formula
Variable Assignment: You can create values for the BI objectu2019s input-ready variables (Query, Query View, Report, or Web Application). The BI object is precalculated using these variable values. These variable values are set whenever an online link is opened.
Take from Variant: You can select from a variant for the BI object (Query, Query View, Report, or Web Application). The BI object is precalculated with the values of the variant. These variable values are set in accordance with the variant whenever an online link is opened
To be honest I think Basis should help you trace where exactly to mention such request...

  • Why is Firefox 3.6.10 crashing repeatedly when I am using hotmail to try to send emails?

I am only having difficulty with hotmail when using Firefox 3.6.10. Opening hotmail is OK, and so is reading emails. The problem starts ONLY when I try to SEND a new email, or reply to an existing email. The email composition page within hotmail opens up, but then my hard drive begins to act erratic and spins non-stop. Then, a few seconds later, it crashes altogether. I restore the session, and all my windows open up normally, but another crash is inevitable because that 'send email' hotmail window is open. Presto... another immediate crash. So, obviously, I can restore a 2nd time, this time WITHOUT restoring the hotmail window, and everything seems to work fine. I have to open up a new tab for hotmail, and that appears to work fine for seeing what new is in my inbox, and even as far as reading emails. It seems to only crash when I try to SEND emails.
I had to go through about 20 different crashes before I could isolate the hotmail window as the culprit. They ALL have the same signature: coreclr.dll@0xbae82 . Of course, "Search Mozilla Support for Help" turns up absolutely nothing on the signature.
The Crash IDs are numerous. I've only listed a few of them, in the link to the right.

    Hi
coreclr.dll is an MS Silverlight dll.
    Try de-installing silverlight & re-install Firefox
I seemed to have an older version of silverlight already on my computer, but that wouldn't uninstall.
My solution that worked for me is to use the Windows install cleanup utility: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301.
Select Silverlight from the list, and then download Silverlight again and reinstall.
    And, if all else fails:

  • When I try to send email from my iPad I get the message "A copy has been placed in your Outbox.  The sender address hplar45ATcomcastDOTnet was rejected by the server". Prior to this I have used the same process to send email for a year.

I have been using the iPad for email for a year.  WIFI connection cannot be established for some reason, I am stuck on 3G.  I am sitting next to the WIFI router.
Why can't I send email using my only email address hplar45ATcomcastDOTnet?
    Why can't I get a WIFI connection?
    What changed?
    Dan
    <Email Edited by Host>

I can't answer why you are not able to connect to WiFi but I can tell you to try the basic things, turn WiFi off and on again, restart your iPad, reset network settings, reboot your router, forget your WiFi network and try again .....
The issue with the email is probably a password issue. Make sure that your password is entered in the incoming mail server setting and in the outgoing mail server setting as well. The outgoing server setting can be accessed by tapping on the SMTP under the Outgoing Mail Server Setting and then tapping the smtp.comcast.net in the next window under the Primary Server Setting.
The outgoing mail server setting will be in the first window when you tap on the Comcast account in the Mail settings.
Look here for a few different web sites for help with the WiFi.

  • Using Published Data in a Send Email Message File

    Hello,
I want to send an email via Orchestrators and the Message contains published Data from a Initialize Date Activity at the beginning. But because the same Email will be used multiple Times I created a .txt File and set the Option in the Send Email Message:
to File. That works alright but the Data isn't used, he just writes: {ID from "Initialize Data"} but not the Data i.e. IR126. What do I need to change so he will display the Data and not just the plain text?
I use the Format HTML but he accepts all my HTML Tag.

Yes, but you can first copy you template to a temp location, do the modifications, send the the temp file  and finally delete the temp file, with the additional Standard Activities "Copy File" and "Delete File" from  category "File Management".
But you can also have fixed Text and dynamically values if you prepare your text in the Activities....

  • Problem using iPad to receive and send emails when not at home

I am unable to send or receive emails from any outside wifi location like Tesco / ikea but once home there is not a problem. Messages reads "Server unable to respond" I was wondering if it is a security issue ?

    Greetings
I suspect that the issue is the SMTP server settings. On your home network you are using your providers SMTP server and all is fine (If you check your email account configs you will find that the SMTP server is set to your providers?).
When you use a different network (provider) mail will not be sent unless you use that networks (providers) SMTP server (this is a security issue to address ways of "spamming").
So if youre 3G/4G provider is the same as you home provider all will work well via your home WiFi. If you turn off WiFi and just use your 3G/4G connection to send mail (iPhone/iPad etc) all will work well (when you are out and about and using anothers WiFi network).
If you are connected to, say a MacDonalds WiFi, mail will probably not be sent. (It will be received though).
Using WEB mail interface (via your WEB browser) removes this problem as well.
(A SMTP server is what is used to send email. So to successfully use anothers (not a networks the same as your providers) WiFi network and send email via it, you must know the SMTP servers name and reconfigure your email account/s to use that server to send mail.)

  • What are the best days and times to send emails to customers?

I have heard about and had great results with so many different days and times of the week sending emails to prospects and clients.  What have you found works best for you and what are some recommendations that you have?

On the other hand, I read an interesting article where the author says:
Best Time to Send Emails: Thursday 8 – 9 am
Most email marketing articles would claim that 8am is too early to send an email newsletter, but it works great for WordStream blasts – we get over 25% open rates with this time!
    2. Worst Time to Send Emails: Tuesday & Wednesday 8 – 10 am
Many would claim that Tuesday and Wednesday mornings should be great times to send emails, but we’ve found that Tuesday mornings result in under 5% open rates, while Wednesday mornings have below 5% click to open ratios."
you can find the entire article here:

  • Cannot use the server talktalk to send emails

my macbook refuses to allow the use of the server talktalk for sending emails from talktalk although I can receive them. My cloud account is working and on my ipad both work. Anyone help?

Sterling, Tried Connection Doctor but found all but the Hotmail server succeeded. Green light showed and talktalk, gmail and icloud showed " Connection and login to server succeeded". The Talktalk server ie. smtp.talktalk however would not accept my message and it would only accept it when I edited the list of servers and picked the gmail server. I've tried deleting the Talktalk account and reinstating it but without having any success. My ipad also has bother at times using the talktalk account to send messages although it receives them ok. Main difficulty arises if I have to reply to a Talktalk message that I have received. Baffling. Any help would be appreciated.
