What tags can be used with Notes?

I have been searching all over to figure out what typs of tags can be used when creating Notes for the iPod. I keep comming back to this document http://developer.apple.com/hardwaredrivers/ipod/iPodNoteReaderGuide.pdf. It is supposed to show available tags. At least that's what all the referring sites say to refer to for available tags. It seems to be a basic tutorial with not much going on. I want a broader reference so I can format my notes. Supposedly the tags are based on a subset of HTML. Well then what are these tags? Has Apple taken the original document down? ***?
Shuttle XPC ST20G5   Windows XP

That's just it, if you read further down it says "You can get the full list of tags for iPod notes over on Apple’s developer connection" and it is linked back to http://developer.apple.com/hardware/ipod/. However, there is no full list of tags on their site anywhere. In the meantime I emailed the ADC to see if they know what happened to the original document. There's got to be more tags than just those on MAKE.

  • What 'tags' can i use?

I would like to know what tags I can use in my posts to format my texts. I know [_code_] and [_/code_] (without the underscores) but would like to know all others. I looked in the FAQ but didn't find them there (they used to be in there in the old days).
Thanx in advance for any help you can give me.

Sorry, you're going to have to get a clue before you could even understand possible answers to that question.
Sigh... okay, let's give it a try.
JSP is a technology for generating HTML. There aren't any HTML editable-table components. It's possible with advanced Javascript to do that sort of thing, but not for people who can barely spell JSP. I expect I have to point out that Javascript is not Java, too.
PDF is a technology for producing printable documents to pass around the Internet. There are forms of PDF which allow the user to enter data, but trying to generate such a thing from a Javascript-based HTML document would be basically impossible.
I think you should get some basic familiarity with these things before you go any farther. Right now you just have a collection of bad ideas. If you've seen web implementations of what you are trying to describe, then find out how they do it.

  • What phones can be used with the $60 monthly plan?

For weeks, I have been getting the run-around from the employees in my local Verizon wireless store, who have on various instances insisted that that don't keep track of the specials offered on-line, I couldn't keep my phone number when switching phones, etc.  Yesterday, I was happy to finally reach someone at the customer service phone number who was pleasant and took the time to answer my questions.  I very specifically asked him about the single line plan offered online for $60 a month since I am not looking for a shared data plan and whether it would apply to, not only a smartphone, but specifically an Apple iPhone.  He informed me that it would, and that if they switched me to that plan then and there, when I logged into my account, I would be able to order a new phone and keep that plan.  The website is now insisting that that the $60 single line cell phone plan is not usable with an iPhone.
I'd like to get a straight answer as to what exactly I can use with this plan.  Does anyone know?

What is the $60 plan providing you? I recommend upgrading your phone and then changing over to the Loyalty Smartphone plan for $60 a month that provides you with unlimited talk, text and 2GB data with a $10 overage charge per GB. It requires a 1-year contract extension but if you are upgrading your phone then you won't have to worry about that. Any smartphone will work on this plan, especially iPhones.

DVDs are in a socalled delivery format (mpeg2), which isn't meant and made for any processing as editing...
for using the iLife apps, you have to convert'em first, in recommended order, choose one of the following tools/workarounds:
DVDxDV (free trial, 25$, Pro: 90$)
    Apple mpeg2 plugin (19$) + Streamclip (free)
    VisualHub (23.32$)
Drop2DV (free, requires installation of ffmpeg parts, google for it...)
    Cinematize >60$
    Mpeg2Works >25$ + Apple plug-in
Toast 6/7/8 allows converting to dv/insert dvd, hit apple-k
connect a miniDV Camcorder with analogue input to a DVD-player and transfer disk to tape/use as converter

  • What version of Quick books can I use with 10.6.8?

What version of Quick Books can I use with my IMac version 10.6.8?

Contact Intuit to find out. The current version requires Lion 10.7.3 or later. Or you could upgrade OS X:
Upgrade Paths to Snow Leopard, Lion, and/or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
    Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You can purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard — Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s iCloud services; fees and
               terms apply.
    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service — this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mountain Lion — System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) — Model Identifier 7,1 or later
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) —
                 Model Identifier 5,1 or later
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) — Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) — Model Identifier 2,1 or later
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) — Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) — Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) — Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.
    Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table — RoaringApps.

  • What video codecs can be used with Premiere CS4?

What video codecs can be used with Premiere CS4?  Or are there to many to list?  I'm looking for a solution to import a .AVI file created with a H.264 codec.

PrPro can work with so very many, but certainly not all. Some, like DivX will work for Export, but I have never gotten good Import of that material - always something wrong somewhere.
For H.264, there are three very popular versions: Apple, Lead and MainConcept. The Apple version installs with later versions of QT Player, the other two are available, and many users like them better. They solve some H.264 problems, mainly with Export.

  • A certificate could not be found that can be used with this extensible authentication protocol in PEAP policy config

    Windows 2003 enterprise
AD DC, DNS, DHCP, CA and IAS all are running from single server. But at the time of configuration of Remote Access Policy the error message of "a certificate could not be found that can be used with this extensible authentication protocol" is appeared.
So with the help of mmc snap in the certificate was requested from CA (Domain Controller template)as a new certificate request and placed in the local computer personal folder.
After placing the certificate the error message was disappeared during configuring PEAP.
But after sometime the certificate was disappeared from remote access policy. But the same imported certificate was present in personal folder.
What is reason for frequent disappearing?
    How to manage the situation?

    Hi,
I think the cause is that the DomainControllerAuthentication certificate has superseded the
DomainController certificate which is chosen during the setup of IAS.
To avoid this, if you’re going to install IAS on a Domain Controller, the DC should be made to enroll for a separate certificate from the template
'RAS and IAS Servers' before the IAS server is installed and this certificate should then be chosen for any PEAP setup.
