  • What is diff between delivery related sales order & billing related sales o

what is diff between delivery related sales order & billing related sales order ???

    hi prasanth,
    extending the Answer of shasikanth,
    1) Order Related Billing:
some items are not related to delivery, like service items.
these items will be defined by different ITEM Categories.
    2)  Delivery Related billing:
standard item like TAN,which is delivery related billing.that means for this item we need to create a delivery documnet.with reference to delivery document we need to create a billing document.
    when we define item category,
we miantain whether its order related or Delivery related billing.
The respective field in item category is......
Relavant for Billing  A - delivery related billing
                                  B - Order realted billing
by this we can say item category defines, whether item is relavent for billing or not and also it defines whether its a Order related or Delivery Related billing.
The Respective billing document type will be determined from Sales document type(vov8).

  • Whats the diff between express and pro??

Just wondering what the main diff between the two are. I've used pro at school, but cant afford to get it at home. Will i still be able to use the same audio instruments like the same synths and plug ins??? Also, would i be able to run the program on a mac mini (top of the line)?

Matt Mac 63, "Whats the diff between express and pro??" #5, 10:33pm Oct 18, 2005 CDT
All I was saying is that if a person can afford to get Pro, they definitely should. The difference in features adds up to at least the difference in price, if not very much more.
Having said that, Express is good value compared to most other DAW software at that pricepoint, but it is only intended as a 'Lite' version.
Some examples, off the top of my head, of differences not made really clear in the comparison list.
    Input Objects:
In Pro you can use Input Objects to monitor incoming signal without rec-enabling a track. That doesn't sound much, on the face of it, but what it means is you can use external FX units (hardware) as inserts in tracks (or busses) just like plugins, and bounce them with the mix. it also means you acn monitor what you are playing into Logic Pro with plugin FX applied, but record dry so you can hear your guitar with the reverb, or whatever, but still have the recorded dry signal so you can change the FX settings later.
Pro has some very handy environment objects. The main one being the Trabsformer object. But also another extremely useful object is TouchTracks.
If you've ever played with Ableton Live you would have noticed you can triger clips with the keyboard in all different ways (loop, gate loop, one shot etc.) Well TouchTracks does that with MIDI regions.(I have a feeling that feature in Live was modeled after Logic's TouchTracks' as it is incredibly similar.)
They are only a few examples of a whole range of differences. If all the differences were itemized in the 'comparison chart' it would be about 3 pages long.
All I am saying is, don't take the comparison chart as the definitive list of differences.
yes, Express is a good basic tool and you can do a lot with it, with some imagination.
    The SOS author's claim that:
you're paying less than a third of the price of Logic Pro and getting over 90 percent of the functionality."
    is not true in totality.
It may be true to someone who has never dabbled in audio software before, because it takes literally years to become fully conversant with every function in Logic Pro, and no-one uses absolutely everything.
But for serious users, who have big demands, in my opinion, Express is less than 30% of Pro's functionality.

  • Can i use developer6 with Ora8i Lite? Whats the diff between 8i lite and personal8i

Can anyone tell me if i can use Oracle8i Lite in conjunction with Developer6? I am running my computer on a Win98 operating system. Also, what are the differences between Oracle8i lite and Personal Oracle8i?
i have only 64mb RAM and am therefore below the minimum requirements to install Peronal oracl8i (which requires 128mb of RAM), is there any way around this?
Thank you in advance for your help in this matter

There is a hope of Installing Personal Oracle on 64MB machine by increasing the Cache for the machine. I have done it for Oracle Server and it works
    Go to : Contron Panel
    then : System
    Select : Performance tab
Specify Virtual Mem to 200 MB minimun for succesfully install the Database.
I tried using Oralite for Personal Oracle but came to know that it is mostly ment for CE devices and other such things for having connectivity between PC Database and Oracle Server Database(I may be wrong).
Using Personal Oracle with Developer6.0 will also give you some trouble in configuring the TNSNAMES for TCP/IP and Developer uses connect string and without that you probably will not be able to connect to database. Try it I tried but failed, take the help of ODBC.
    Good Luck

  • Whats the diff. between 2 TC ?

    expers,
What is the difference between TC- RSO2  in R/3 and RSO2 in BI.
i just found out that there is a TC ( RSO2 ) available in B! too. Usually RSO2 is to create Generic Ds. But then why do you need on BW side ?
Do we create Generic DS in BW? if yes then for what ? or for which Purpose ?
Its the simple question, but i dont have much experience and not came accross to such condition where i need to create Generic Data Souce in BW.
    Any comment is appreciated.

    Hon,
here is the scenario... I have 100 milion records sitting in my dso which actually feed data to the cube.  One field for specific year wasn't correct. So I wanted to put a logic in the dso.  I have be over 50 characteristices, in the dso. In order to put that logic, I created a generic datasource based on the dso for only few characteristices. In the transformation, I put my logic. I could have created a feedback transformation, but the problem with that... 1. I don't want to read all the characteristics for performance reason 2. I had already feedback transformation, which system won't let me create a second transformation from the same source and target.
    hope that is clear.
    thanks.

  • Whats the diff between copying a Transport request and Importing a request?

    Hi gurus,
Can some one explain me the difference between copying a transport request between clients and importing transport request between clients? say for eg: difference between copying a transport request containing a datasource being copied from client 100 to client 200 and importing the same request from client 100 to client 200?... When do we follow such scenario's?
    thanks.
    kishore

    Hi Kishore,
A request copy applies only for customizing (client dependent) objects.
A request tracks object modifications since its last transport. if the object is created in source system and included in a transport request, when it is transported to another system, it will create the object in target system. Then if you modify the  object, it will include modifications since last transport.
As i said, a request copy is only valid for customizing objects. This is entries in tables, you will see that you have two kind of requests, customizing and workbench. Workbench objects are client independent, so request copy doesn't applies.
it's very important to keep the order of requests when you transport and also not to delete requests in any system.
Hope this helps (and hope it is clear, if you have any doubt, just ask!).
    Regards,
    Diego

  • Whats the diff between btmm & basic sharing?

so I have both "back to my mac" and regular screen sharing on me and my dad's computer....but I don't understand what the point is of "back to my mac" if screen sharing already works?

The point is that it enables people who know nothing about networking to connect to a remote host without configuring anything. Of course it requires compatible hardware and therefore rarely works as intended without extensive configuration, but that's the general idea.

  • Whats the diff between PS CS5 and PS Elements 12?

I currently use PS CS5, but a friend of mine wants to get PS Elements 12.  Are there major differences?  Is E12 an add on to an existing CS, or can it be used by itself?  I'm unfamiliar with E12 so any help would be welcomed.
    Thank you

BTW, Elements 13 was released yesterday, I believe.
It was last week, if I recall. The OP should be able to upgrade to version 13 if they so choose to go through the proper Adobe channels since they didn't know.
Photoshop Elements is like the little cousin of Photoshop. (It doesn't have some of Photoshop's adjustment masks like Curves, for example.) But it has lots of the core features like layers and masks (should one use Elements' "Expert" mode).
The thing that burns my buns, though, are the elitist "photographers" who disparage the use of Photoshop (in any form, be it Elements or full-on Photoshop). Yes, I get it. You're just like Ansel Adams. No, I don't care. So somebody used the "Photomerge Compose" feature in Elements. Whooop-deee-doo. Doesn't mean one has to get his panties in a bunch over it.

  • Route 66 Sydney map? whats the diff between Austra...

    hey guys,
im curious to see if anyone has actually bought the seperate maps for the navigator?
as i was wondering is the sydney map just a "part" of the australia map in total?
ie if i have the australia map it actually has all of the sydney map, brisbane map, melbourne map etc or the Sydney map is a map with extras in it, a updated item perhaps. as i was considering buying it, but if i have the same things on my Australia 07 map then it wont be worth it
    cheers

yes it is just a part of the australia map. if you got australia-map it is nonsense to buy city-maps that are located in australia.

  • MTO(Diff between complex make to order and sales order based mass prod)

    Hi
We are using MTO...Can anyone tell me what is the Diff between complex make to order and sales order based mass prod in finance perspective?

    Hi,
In the case of complex make to order scenario, through MRP, the Project shall be assigned to the sales order. Then there will be milestone billling and all. In the case of mass production MTO, it is only creation of production order for each sales order item and each sales order item shall have sales order cost estimate.
Trust this helps much and do encourage our efforts!
    Cheers!
