What the heck does it take to get a response out of you guys?
Can I please get a response to my question? I'm starting to regret my choice to pay for this platform. My original question
"As the title suggests - why do the thumbnails take forever to load?. It is incredibly frustrating as I'm dealing with over 500 clips and I have to wait for these thumbnails to load. I come from Avid and decided to switch to Premier because of the available workflows. I've never had this issue using Avid so I know for sure it has nothing to do with my system. Any ideas? Furthermore, the media say that it is pending every now and them, why is this?"
Now there's other issues. Whenever I'm trying to play a clip, or just my timeline, it doesn't instantly, play, but rather takes 20 seconds for it to finally play. Furthermore, I'm dealing with .MTS files. All of my filed imported fine, but one file only imported the video (the file itself does have audio and video).
I'm on a tight deadline and I need answers for this.
Same issue. I've chatted with customer support and I'll summarize how helpful they were.
Customer support took control of my computer in order to try and resolve the problem. I'm not sure what they did but they made everything WORSE. They deleted all my cache and did a whole bunch of other crap. Thumbnails don't load anymore - period. Questions regarding my other concerns - media pending, videos not playing, audio not importing - were completely ignored. Now here is where it gets better. This guy helping me out didn't respond for 30 minutes, I was wondering if he was further looking into it, but then it hit 7PM, when customer service closes. Apparently when the going gets tough and they have no idea how to resolve a situation, Adobe bleeds out and waits for 7PM to hit so they can just brush us off. I'm pissed.
Looks like I'm going back to Avid and just round trip to Divinci.

Option+T (What the heck does that do?) I've looked around on the internet and the boards and haven't found what the purpose is. Just curious. Thanks Jeremy.
If you are curious why don't you just highlight the timeline > hit option + T (the timeline gets sexier ) > select a clip > drop a filter on it > set keyframes to modify the filter overtime or use time remap and option click anyware in the time remap green ramping line to set a keyframe and keep your curious eye on the timeline and find that all those keyframes becomes visible and editable in the timeline?

Submitted my free request for software update to mountain lion yesterday, how long does it take to get a response, and where can I go to verify my request was received?/
I called them after waiting 12 hours and they said up to 72 hours and there was no place to check things in the meantime.
Their communication on this one is surprisingly bad, but apparently they have it under control. Time will tell. (It's now been about 36 hours for me with no code or confirmation email.) -

What does it take to get an app on the ovi store? There are so many apps available that are not included in the ovi store.... like "s60spoton" It allows you to use your cameras flash as a flash light! I've been wanting this forever. If this app was easily available on the Ovi store, I would have been able to find it easily... but it was linked to me in a forum.
Why are there so many useful apps not cataloged in the Ovi store?It's the maker of an apps responsibility to get it listed on the store so if it's not on there it's because the maker hasn't put it there.
Nokia cannot put apps on the store without the makers consent.
Only the maker/publisher of an app can tell you why their app isn't on the store. It may be for financial reasons, legal reasons, licensing issues, piracy concerns or they may just have ceased development and moved on.
The ovi store isn't the only source of applications and some developers prefer to use independant sites like www.getjar.com instead. -
