What to do about Adobe Permiere Pro Stop Working?
After working with Adobe Premiere Pro for Years the last was PPcs6 tried to open it Jan. 2014 I got a prom. Adobe Premiere Pro has stopped working, I tried time & time again same thing :-( -OK- I downloaded a free trial PP CC, same thing "Adobe Premiere Pro has stopped working", what has Adobe Coop. done?
What is your exact brand/model graphics adapter (ATI or nVidia or ???)
What is your exact graphics adapter driver version?
Have you gone to the vendor web site to check for a newer driver?
-If Windows, do NOT rely on Windows Update to have current driver information
-you need to go direct to the vendor web site and check updates for yourself

I have not been able to get any answer from Adobe. I have a registered copy of Adobe 9 Pro. All of a sudden when I try to open a document it says "You cannot use this product at this time. my email is [email protected]Before you uninstall, be sure to deactivate so that you do not run into license issues. But first, try a repair from the Control Panel. Depending on your OS it might be in the Add/Remove programs or Programs and Features. If the repair does not work, then deactivate, uninstall, and reinstall.
What might you have done that might have had an affect since you last successfully used the product (if you can remember)? Sometimes, incorrectly applying updates can create problems -- they must be done in order, particularly if downloaded. I use the downloaded updates. In fact, before you uninstall (but after the repair), you might download all of the updates and try to do those manually. Also, do the install with anti-virus disabled.
As far as Adobe goes, that is why a lot of us ended up in the forums in the first place. It turns out to be a great place to learn things, but can be time consuming if you spend as much time as I do here. -

Adobe Premier Pro Stops Working on Start up
Okay so pretty Straight forward, but before I get into it I will share my Laptop Specs first
OS: 64bit - Windows 8.1 - fully updated
Laptop Yoga 13
Processor: Inter Core i7-3517U CPU@ 1.9GHz-2.4GHz
RAM: 8GB
Hard-Disk: SS Dirve 256GB
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 (Everytime I see that I wish I could upgrade it)
So I've been using Premier Pro CC for a while, no issues. Until last week I was working on a project, and my computer crashed on me. After a reboot Premier Pro would go through the load up image, but once the program window appeared the program stopped running. I tried a full uninstall and re-install of Premier Pro. Nothing still wont start. So then I uninstall all Adobe programs (Including Acrobat XI), but I didn't take off Photoshop, out of laziness. Just to clarify, I told the uninstall to remove all my preferences and files. Then re-installed Premier Pro. Still nothing.

All other Adobe programs I have installed work great:
Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Audition
So I'm looking for some help here in the Premimere Pro Community. Any Takers?Actually, It happens in both occasions. After your first question I tried opening old products and it would freeze in the same way.
I tried out your idea on clearing the preferences manually. Still nothing unfortunately. It freezes in the same spot, and I get the same message.
The folder that was created was "Profile-<username>". It seemed to be what Premiere wanted. I attached an image of what appeared in the Folder. -
Adobe Acrobat X Pro - Error Message : "Adobe Acrobat Has Stopped Working"
I use Windows 7 - 64bit / CS6 Master Collection that has Adobe Acrobat x Pro.
When the computer is on for a little while, Acrobat would generate the error message that it has stopped working and then shuts down. Once that error message occurs, I cannot get Acrobat to stay open. It opens the PDF document, stays open for a few seconds then the error message occurs and it shuts down.
What helps for a short term is to restart the computer. This seems to temporarily remove the error until the computer is on for a while then the error returns.
This problem repeats. Product repair feature does not work. This has nothing to do with the license, I tried that fix and it made no differnce. I do not have this issue with other Adobe products included in the master collection.
It seems fruitless and frustrating to send a message to Adobe Support, the run around with pages and links is like smacking walls on every turn, it is obvious Adobe does not want people contacting their support. Service from Adobe for their products is poor.
I hope that someone here has the answer to the problem. Anyone?Ok, here is the update.
The link: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/acrobat-failed-launch-30-days.html , leads to a webpage that says to download a fix ZIP file named: "Acrofix.ZIP". It contains the file "acrofix.exe".
I did use this "exe" file about 2 months ago and it did nothing to fix the issue. I used it again today, because the same issue of "Adobe Acorbat has stopped working", occurred again and again it did not work, the problem of "Adobe Acrobat stopped working" presists. Again the only work around, which is temporary, is to reboot the computer.
So far these do not work:

My system is slowing down after nearly two years, and I am dreading a reinstall - there always seems to be something you have forgotten! What really worries me is what happens to existing raid0 arrays seeing as the mainboard needs drivers. They are backed up, but I just don't trust a single level backup, and will have to add a further 3Tb of drive space to make a straight copy of the raid0 arrays. I also like the idea of Windows 8.1, but dread finding out that the drivers don't work!
The Premiere Pro hardware forum is the perfect place to ask about stuff like that. Harm, Bill, Erik etc. are super clued up on such things, so I shall run my concerns past them before committing.
So I wish you good luck again, and I know you'll make a plan before going ahead with it. -
For some reason, the Flash Player on my MAC Pro stopped working, I've checked the install on my Adobe Flash Player and the are current, but the plug-ins don't seem to be working. Can anyone help me get it working?
It happened w/ my MacPro 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon about 5 months ago; tried everything I could think of including multiple downloads of Flash, and hadn't seen any solutions here. Adobe insisted many times that I download & update, but the newest vers. wouldn't work on the computer.
On checking Adobe/Flash was reading the computer as being an earlier model. So the new version of Flash wouldn't work w/ it. Snow Leopard 10.6.8 was being read correctly but not the computer model (can't remember what MP model it was reading).
Nothing worked. So -- a very old PC trick: If nothing else works get the hammer out and bludgeon it-- might work. So I reset everything by putting the Snow Leopard install disk in, held down 'C' on restart and let it run.
Didn't take anything off the HDD first, just ran the install disk over everything.
The experts on the forums are probably cringing right now & I'd like very much for them to jump in. Love to know how my computer model was being mis-read. All I can say is, for the brave and desparate, it worked for me. Something to keep in mind.
It helped that I had a new computer on order & have 2 backups, one being mandatory. Might work only the one time but worth a check.

I have a pc with windows 7 professional. I use adobe cs6 production suite and all of a sudden premiere pro stopped working. I had installed a program recently and created a system restore point prior to it's installation. I installed Zaxwerks proanimator 5.1. Restored computer back and I now get an error when trying to run any cs6 program it is a configuration error and it says to uninstall and reinstall.Won't uninstall says I have an error 1. What should I do?

I've had Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for some time, but yesterday it stopped working and I started having an 'Adobe Acrobat has stopped working' error. It then tells me to Close the Program.

OS is Windows 7 Pro, Adobe Acrobat Pro 11.0.07.
I went into the Properties file where I identified that Users only had Read & Execute and Read properties, I changed properties for Everyone to Full Control. That fixed the problem.
I don't know how the properties got changed to just Read & Execute, but there had been an automatic update the night before.

2 of my movies are no longer working in my iTunes or on my iPod Touch, One doesn't play at all and the other gets to about 29:00 than stops working and I don't want to buy them again. Then also when I added a non-iTunes movie and tried to have iTunes make an iPod/IPhone version it gave me error -4. What's happening to my movies?
I also have to add that the right earbud only doesn't work on my phone while i'm listening to music. If I'm face timing it's okay. what the heck.

I am on a Windows 7 OS attempting to reduce pdf size with my Adobe Acrobat Standard XI & Pro. The application keeps timing out and at the Subsetting embedded fonts portion and the application gives "Adobe Acrobat has stopped working" and then closes. The document is 275 pages. Is there something I can do to stop this?

Does acrobat stop working when you open this specific pdf file or with any pdf file that you open?

some files have probably been removed from your original installation. system cleaners/optimizers often do that.

Adobe bridge has stopped working windows 8
I recently installed adobe bridge cs6 on a windows 8 computer and when the program launches and i browse to a folder with images I see "adobe bridge has stopped working" and the program crashes. Any Idea what I can do to solve this?
