Does you router need a firmware update perhaps?
Have you tried rebooting your router? Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in again.
You could try rebooting your iPad as well. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

You'll need to erase the drive by booting up holding command-option-r keys into your Recovery Volume.
Use Disk Utility to erase the disk and then Internet Recovery. That will take a while.

It seems that all apple products used in my house at times will not connect to our wifi. It's hit and miss. It says I am connected, but when you try to connect to any search engine it does not. I have disconnected and reconnected the power to the dsl provider and to our wifi units. I have rebooted the computers. I have reentered the password. Still no connection. We do not have connectivity issues with our PC products. Anyone have any answers for me?

Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

What happens if Local Mode LAP lost connection to Controller?

I wonder what happens to the wireless client and LAP running in local mode if connection to wireless lan controller is down OR the controller itself is down? I do not think LAP will reboot by itself but will wireless client lost wifi connection and internet connection via the LAP?H-REAP/FlexConnect is different and it can keep clients connected depending on authentication methods. What's needed for a Wi-Fi connection?
I have an older Imac flat panel without an airport card.Wish to purchase an Ipad and use Wi-Fi connection.Currently connected to cable modem.

ThanksIf the computer can support it, the Apple M8881LL/A AirPort Extreme Card would be
better than an external USB wi-fi dongle. The integration is quite good with the card.
You should be able to buy the Extreme card still, just not through Apple store, new.
(I have a spare, new in box; just in case.)
If the iMac G4 is an early model, it would use the Original AirPort card, and would
be limited to a slower 802.11/b specification. And the early iMac G4 would also be
officially limited to running OS X 10.4.11; if the processor is 867MHz or less. There,
support for Leopard 10.5.8 and iPad, iTunes 10.2.1 etc would be lacking.
Since you didn't note the exact specifications of the iMac G4, I've mentioned this.
Another option may be to get and use an AirPort Express base station, and have
the iMac administer it, so the iPad can share your hardwired internet network.

Apple tv works for iphone4s not ipad2 over wifi
The Apple tv has all the latest updates as do the iphone 4s and ipad2. The ipad 2 intermittantly sees the apple tv and gives me the option to mirror the ipad etc. The iphone4s ALWAYS sees the apple tv and allows me to mirror it.
Why is the ipads connection to the aple tv not consistent?

Basic troubleshooting

Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and Cable/DSL modem are connected to power and turned on.
Check whether other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware.For AirPort Base Stations, refer to this article for information about firmware updates. For third-party Wi-Fi routers, check the manufacturer's website for details on updating your firmware.

Apple Wireless Keyboard lost connection when "command+space" is pressed
Hi, my apple wireless keyboard lost connection when command and space key was pressed. it does not lost connection when other keys combination was pressed. Are there any people has the same problem with me?
I am using Emacs all the time, the command and space key is the default short cut for Mark in Emacs. It is constantly used in my daily work. The wireless keyboard does not lost connection always, but it does lost connection sometimes. I have observed every time it lost connection, the command + space was pressed. Really strange. Any advice?

I borrowed a USB keyboard to allow me to get past the pasword login.
First I rang disk utitlity to repair any permissions. I opended up the app 'Bluetooth Setup Assistant' selected 'Keyboard' then I turned the keyboard 'on' so the green light is flashing' and then hit continue. At this point the keyboard appears in the listing of found items, hitting continue I am then given a unique pairing code. Enter this on the keyboard and hit 'Return' after a few seconds, the pairing is complete and by wireless keyboard is back and working again! -
iTunes Store for Windows. Everytime I try an access the iTunes Store it takes really long to connect and then it says iTunes store cannot be access. I think I am up to date with iTunes Verison, I Have 11.0.2.26 but no matter what I try it does not connect. HELP Please???

Enabling iTunes Match does not delete music from your computer. Why do you think it is now not in the iTunes library if it was before? If all of your music was in the iTunes library then it is also now in the cloud if iTunes has completed it's scan and all the music meets the match requirements. Enable the iCloud Status column in the iTunes browser by switching to Song view and pulling down View > View Options. Select iCloud Status then close the small window. Sort on the new column. Your music should be listed as "purchased," "matched" and "uploaded." Some tracks may be "ineligible." Post back and let us know.

What are the benefits of buying an iPad 2 with wi-fi, or with 3G when I already have an iPhone 4 with 3G? My plan with was to go for wi-fi and connect to the internet through my iPhone 4. Am I missing out on anything by not getting 3G?

Not sure why only one particular phone is having this problem but this article will help you check and restart it if it's in fact not started: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1567. Even if it is running, suggest you stop and restart it.

Yes, due to Incomplete Software Update on your iPhone your Device is now in Recovery Mode and you cannot take a Backup now. But if you have taken a backup earlier then you can Restore that backup on your iPhone after you Reset your iPhone to Factory Settings.

actually i found out how to fix it
1 sign out of apple account
2 close down passbook app
3 change year to 2013
4 reopen passbook and sign in at the button with your apple ID
5 change the time to auto update and it should work from now on.
