What to do when hostname needs to be changed?

Hello everyone
Can someone please tell me what needs to be done after the hostname was changed? We have CE 7.2 installed on this host and alredy did this:
a) Changed hostname from A to B
b) Adopted the profiles
c) Adopted the registry (replaced A with B where appropriate)
d) Adopted the windows services
Now we're facing the problem that MaxDB 7.8 is starting but j2ee (jstart.exe) doesn't start (error node 'bootstrap' 503). It seems that the connection to the DB is not working properly.
Can someone tell me where to check / edit the connection properties?

well, after hours of searching around on the web and just after posting my question I now finally found this:

Using the configtool.bat (logged in with windows account <SID>adm and startet it from E:\usr\sap\<SID>\Jxx\j2ee\configtool) I was able to edit the connection string accordingly.
Now j2ee starts up properly.

I have a cluster in a test, and we need to get the hostnames of the boxes changed. How can this be handled without a full deinstallation? Would nodes have to be removed, then added back into the cluster?

Hostname changes are not supported in Oracle Clusterware (CRS), unless you want to perform a deletenode followed by a new addnode operation.
The hostname is used to store among other things the flag files and CRS stack will not start if hostname is changed.

After upgrading to version 4.0 my email money bank transfers do not work. Bank says it is browser issue but what is the setting that needs to be changed?

I do a great deal of online banking. Recently issue an email money transfer from an account with one bank to an account with a different bank. Have done this regularly in the past with no problems. The transfer could not be completed. After consulting the IT people at the bank I was advised the problem is with the browser, but they were not certain of what specifically is the problem or how to fix it. They advised I try to do the deposit using another browser. Went to Chrome, accessed the email transfer info and the deposits went through normally. I assume the problem lies somewhere in the security settings with Firefox, but could not find any information to help me.

I too , have had my phone crash after installing the iphone 4 update. It would not update and connect to itunes after installing it. My phone was not accesable at all.
I took it to the apple store in London and for an hour and a half waited for them to resolve the issue.
They seemed far more interested in selling their new iphone 4 than helping existing customers.
I was told it was a physical connection problem cord. I knew this was not the case and as I had my laptop with me proved it wasn't.
After 2 hours they replaced the handset and I am now in the process of restoring the backup.
I strongly advise not to install the new software.

What to do when the client asks for changes after final audio mix?

Sometimes a client will want changes after the final audio mix has been done. That is, I've already sent the project from Premiere Pro to Audition, done a master mix, and sent it back to Premiere Pro. If I'm then asked to make changes to the video, I don't know of any way to preserve the work I've already done in Audition and just update it with changes. I find myself making the changes in Premiere Pro and re-sending the whole project back to Audition for a completely new mix. This isn't very time efficient, and I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can update a project in Audition with changes in Premiere Pro without having to start again?
Obviously it's best to have picture lock before doing the final mix, but things happen and people change their minds.
I'm working in CS6.

BTW, I got another issue, hope can help me, I'm updating my OS X maverick to new one 10.9.2, while updating I need to restart my laptop to update, however i got this error message, "Install Failed! OS X could not be installed on your computer. The installer encounter an error that caused the installation fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Click Restart to restart your computerand try installing again." I did that so many times, unfortunately, nothing happens. This is the 1st time Ive ever encounter that issue while updating my Mac. Now, i cannot even go to my main menu, coz everytime I turn on my laptop it's shows the updating process and go back to failed installation. Thanks.

If your clients are opening the file with Adobe Reader, they should show even if not flattened.
If they are not and you absolutely need to flatten them, maybe the pre-press tools in Adobe Acrobat would work for you.

I have an iMAC and when I am on Facebook my list of friends does not show up in the box for me to request gifts. I know this is a problem with my Mac because my daughter's PC shows it. I recently did the automatic upgrade thing but didn't pay attention what it was. When I did that it changed my desktop picture back to factory. Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

The template is a document in itself, it is not applied to an existing document whether it is a Pages document or a Word document converted to a Pages document.
You would need to either copy and paste content, using existing styles, or apply the styles to the converted Word document.
You can Import the Styles from an existing document and those imported Styles can be used to override the current document's styles:
Menu > Format > Import Styles
The process is simplified if the styles use the same names, otherwise you will need to delete the style you don't want and replace it with the one that you do want when asked, then the substitution is pretty straightforward.

Our Oracle DB 10.1.0.3.0 is installed on Linux Server.
Oracle 10g Developer Site is installed on windows XP.
I have upgraded form & reports form earlier version 6.0..
Now I need to install Oracle Application Server on windows 2003 (x86) 32 bit.
I never done this b4.
My question is that ,
what are the components I need to install on my apps server to run Forms & Reports?
I am installing apps server on one machine.
But when I read documentation they said its better to install on two machine.

Yes,
I'm sorry to tell you but for forms and reports (BI) you need to install almost everything, you need to install an infrastructure as first components, and then a midtier for AS with Business Intelligence option, in this second component you can chose to install Reports, forms, OCJ4, Portal, any other component you need or you thik you will need in the future.
You can install both in one Server if you don't have resources for 2 or 3 thinking on load balance. It works fine for me in one server but my operation is not too big.

I have iTunes Home Sharing set up on it and have my entire iTunes
library on it. I can then use any of my Macs to play Movies or Songs
from it and only keep locally a select subset of that on my individual
devices.
Rather than and update server, I utilize Server's Caching Service. The caching
server will duplicate any update download (system or MacApp Store purchases)
any time a device that is connected to my network down loads one. The update will
then be stored locally and all other devices will download the update from it which
can be faster than from Apple directly. This has the advantage of only having to download
once with limited bandwidth internet connections. There is also an Update Server service
available, but it is some what more involved in setting up. However, it will download
and store all available updates.
There is another thing as well if you do not care for syncing things like Contacts, Calendar, etc.
to iCloud, you can set Server up to sync these items across devices locally.
