What to do when ps4 has blinking white light?

Ok I turned my ps4 on last night, the watchdogs disc had been in there so selected to play it and nothing happened! I could not navigate the menu, everything froze, so tried ejecting the disc and it just beeped. I tried pressing the on off button on console then it just went to flashing white light continuously! I tried pressing the button again, disc eject, nothing! In the end I cut the power! Turned console back on, rebuilt database and then was greeted by message saying don't cut power before shutdown, but what the heck was I supposed to do?

It means the update failed and your AppleTV can't start.
You need to restore by connecting to a computer running current iTunes via a USB to micro USB cable.

The ATV is telling you it needs to be plugged into your computer and restored through iTunes.

Claro que eso no funciono por que el problema esta en el firmware.
He logrado que funcione mi disco (a medias) deshabilitando las siguientes funciones:
1. Deshabilitar "Acceso Remoto"
2. Deshabilitar "Unidad en reposo"
3. Deshabilitar "Servicio DLNA"
Con esto he logrado que funcione por más de un mes, sin embargo solo tengo un simple disco de reespaldo, no tengo las funciones que un WDMC ofrece.
Nota: Ire activando cada opción posteriormente para determinar cual es la reesponsable del problema.

Hola La versión de firmware es v04.01.04-422 También cada que sale una actualización la instalo esperando que eso corrija el problema. Actualización: al parecer la función que causa el problema es la de ahorro de energía, ayer la active y hoy mi disco amaceció con el led parpadeando en blanco . Hoy voy a activar el servicio DLNA. Saludos.

MacPro3,1 (2008) gets a blinking white light but sometimes does start up, what's going on?

I've got a MacPro3,1 (2008 model) that up until 3 days ago was working fine.
I haven't moved the Mac from its physical location, haven't installed any new hardware or even connected any new devices to it but upon restarting I now get a blinking white LED light and no video.
So I looked around the forums and most results pointed towards bad ram, since I've got 16GB of ram 8 dimms 2GB each it took a while to reseat them all properly but even after reseating them I still get the same issue. A calmly blinking white LED light of the power button (1sec interval).
The odd thing is that none of the riser cards show any of the usual red lights that would turn on if the ram was faulty/not set properly, and then once I force the computer to turn off holding the power button and turn it on again, sometimes the Mac will start up again (not all the time, it may take 3-5 tries).
Does anyone have a clue on why this would always happen when restarting/starting the Mac but that it would then take a force shutdown and a few tries and then starts up again?
Also, during the startup (when it does startup) the Mac won't accept any keyboard input (to try bring up the hardware test or go into the boot manager or even resetting the PRAM by holding ALT+SHIFT+R+P is not possible).

HT2173 iMac late2006 17". When power button pressed, white light comes on and stays on but nothing else happens?

As stated: our Mac won't turn on other than the white light on the bottom right.
Read through the support page which suggests taking the back off ( and use internal power switch) as in owners manual section 4, however it's not in there. At the bottom there is a couple of screws and a couple of star head screws, I'm guessing I need to undo these and possibly pull from the bottom. Don't want to break it,

A steady LED light generally indicates that the computer is on and the display is asleep.
Before you get inpatient and start taking out screws or trying to open it up, which is not an easy task on that model.
Reset the SMC, as per > Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Unplug the computer's power cord.
3. Wait fifteen seconds.
4. Attach the computer's power cord.
5. Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
Then run the AHT, as per > Using Apple Hardware Test

How do I get my animation to not have a black background when it has a white background?

When I export my animation with a white background it shows that it has a black background in Premier Elements.

I am not sure how the relationship between Flash and Premiere works, but if it is anything like putting a Flash file in another Flash file then the loaded Flash file will not have a background. What you should try doing is to draw a white rectangle on the bottom-most layer of the Flash file timeline that covers the whole stage.

PS4 controllers won't sync when PS4 has been in rest mode for awhile

Hi, Only recently, when my PS4 (2.51) has been put into rest mode, when I try to turn the PS4 on the followin day or so using the controller, the controller flashes white for awhile and won't turn the console on. I can turn the console on using the main button on the unit, but even with the USB cable and using the reset button, I cannot get the controller (or my spare controller) to sync or register on the unit at all. The only way I can get them working is by hard resetting the PS4, goes through the safety checks and when it restarts, my controllers can once again sync. Anyone else have this issue? Is this a firmware fault? I have turned the PS4 off last night completely (not rest mode), so I'll test again tonight to see if it resumes and controllers sync then. Can anyone help with this? I can't find any repair shops in NZ that fix PS4's. Its about 18 months old. Appreciate any help!

File Upload: What to do when page has a validation error.

Here's the situation. I have a page with 2 fields: Description and File (this is a file browse item). Both are required. I want to place the file into a custom table called car_pictures.
The user selects a file, but forgets to enter the description. The validation catches this and returns the user back to the form page.
The problem is that the user's file has been uploaded to the system in APEX_APPLICATION_FILES. As you can imagine this can clutter up the DB with unused files.
I was thinking about how to solve the issue and here's what I think. Please let me know if there's a better way to approach this issue:
- Create a table called: temp_file_storage... it'll have the same properties as the APEX_APPLICATION_FILES view.
- Have a page process (on submit, before validations) that moves (i.e. copy then delete) the file from APEX_APPLICATION_FILES to temp_file_storage
- Have a page_process (on submit, after validation) which will move the file from temp_file_storage to car_pictures.
- Create a system or DB process which will "empty" the temp_file_storage table
Though there's extra steps here and a process which you may need to run daily, it will prevent old data cluttering up the apex_application_files table.

Hey, last night after my phone died it refused to charge or even signal the battery picture which is usually what pops up when it has run out of battery life, whats wrong?

I've used various charger with my phone due to the fact that my original one broke and it's hard to get a hold of a real apple cable, So last night it ran out of battery and refused to charge anymore ( this was the third time it ran out of battery). It didn't react to any of the botton, it didnt even signal me with the whole " i need you to charge me " picture. later that night i decided to check on it and it signaled the picture so i plugged it in with the cars charger and it worked, my phone charged perfectly fine it turned on and worked okay. and this moring the whole senerio stared up again except now it won't charge at all i found an original Apple charger, i plugged into the computer, car, and house outlet and no response from the phone at all. I also I don't have the cable which charged my phone last night in the car it belonged to a friend and my phone still has no response to any bottons....

If you have one try using a different charger lead, adapter or plug socket. If that fails it may be that the charger port is broken. I had the same problem with my ipad but it was within warranty and I got it replaced at an apple store

No you shouldn't have to buy a USB to microUSB cable I agree, it should have been in the box.
Unfortunately though that's what you need.
Personally I would take it to a nearby Apple store, if you don;t have one contact support and complain.

The boot drive may need repair in Disk Utility>First Aid (verify and repair)
Critical system files may be damaged which will require that the OS may need to be reinstalled.
The connection to the boot drive is faulty.
The HDD has failed and needs to be replaced.
