What to do with ATA HD After upgrade to SATA

I have a question that I think you can answer fro me.
Bottom line: Do I need to, or should I, Switch my original ATA, 60GB hard drive(HD) to slave or not or remove it.
Background: I added the Sonnet Tempo SATA- 2 port, and two 300GB Maxtor SATA 7200rpm 16MB HDs. After I move my system/account over to the new drive. What should I do with the old 60GB ATA that is still connected to the ATA-100.
Attitional: I upgraded the Optical drive as well from the current DVR-106D to a DVR-112D, heck it was only $48.

The jumper on the drive only has reference to the bus that it is currently on. Adding other devices on other buses makes no difference as to jumper setting on another bus.
If it is the only drive on the bus, it should be set to single, although it could be set to cable select. If you ever plan on adding another IDE drive to the bus, then you will have to change the jumpers. But I doubt you will, since you have a SATA card now. So just leave it alone. Also, you do not have an ATA-100 bus but an ATA-66 bus, just to correct you.
I currently have a UL3D card for a SCSI ultra 360 RAID I use for recording video/audio. I've got two other 7200 RPM IDE drives, and the original 5400 RPM 30GB drive that came with the computer, which is pretty much useless to me. I just use it as an optional startup disk/diagnostic disk. It has 10.4 with techtool 4 installed and speed tools, as well as OS 9.2.2 installed, and most of my apps and documents backed up on it. That seems to be a good idea just in case something goes wrong.
Another option- if your system on your SATA drives is less than 60 GB, you can make a disk image of your whole system using disk utility and store it on the 60 GB drive. Then if something goes wrong with your system, you can run disk utility from the install DVD and use the restore option to apply the backup disk image to the failed system. This is a quick way to fix any problems with your system. I make a new disk image pretty often so I always have my whole system backed up and ready to go.
