What to do with completed songs
Once I have a completed song in Logic how do I burn it to disc? What is the best way to do this?
First you have to Bounce the track (in the File menu). You have a variety options here, but I'd recommend WAVE or AIFF format to retain full quality, and for a CD, 44.1K/16-bit. Once you've bounced the file, you can burn it to disc using and CD burning application.
iTunes is fine, but Waveburner (which comes with Logic) is better--more options, and with iTunes you have to be sure that you aren't accidentally compressing your song with the default settings.

What to do with new songs after itunes moved to external
Moved my iTunes music to an external hard drive and it works beautifully. I acquire new music on a weekly basis. Do new files automatically move to the external drive's folder or do I have to do something? I tried one song so far and although it plays, the file is on my internal hard drive and not on the external.
Also, since I fear something will happen to my external hard drive I purchased a second external as a backup. What is the easiest way to go about backing up the music on my "iTunes player" drive to my "backup" drive?

For iTunes b/u I use a program called Synchronize XPlus. After the first b/u it will do incremental b/u and update only new/modified files.

Adobe does not list what software comes with complete plan
All it says under the "complete" plan for $599 a year is Photoshop, Illustrator, and more..... I specifically need Photoshop for my new PC & After Effects and I can't get a complete list of what is included to save my life! Anyone "join" the complete CS package and can tell me what software is included?

When I play some of my songs on itunes there is nothing but a weird pinging noise!! I don't know what is wrong and I checked my speakers and they are fine, so it's not my speakers.
I'm having the same problem. Wish I knew how to re-download the truncated songs, but no help thus far.

What will happen with matched songs if you cancel your iTunes Match subscription
Does anyone here know what would happen to your nonpurchaced songs if you let your iTunes Match subscription expire? Will they be removed?

I think the answer to your (and my) question can be found under 'a few iTunes Match questions'.
bigturnip said once you download the matches that were made, they are yours. You pay for imatch and for that you can choose to use them and download to device or Mac. Once this is done, it becomes yours. You dont have to use the matches that are made. He also explains about what is used in the storage. All my purchased song from iTunes are not playing complete (iPod and computer with Windows Vista), unexpectedly stops and continues with next song. What am I doing wrong?

They aren't the ones you hear on the radio.
They are the same songs remade by some unknown label to make money. -
I just purchased The Very Best Of Eagles CD, Popped it into my drive so excited to own the copy but when I tired to copy it to my Library I get this message saying the song names for this cd could not be found online when it's in the iTunes store, What's up with that? iTunes gets track information from Gracenote's database, so iTunes must be able to reach gracenote.com and the CD must have been entered there by some purchaser already (all CD information in Gracenote is provided by we users). If these are common, commercially-distributed CDs, it may be that there is a firewall or privacy filter blocking access to gracenote.com. If these are unusual, independently-released or rare CDs, they just may not be in Gracenote yet. In the case of a custom CD where it's a compilation, Gracenote probably won't be able to identify them (it goes by complete albums, comparing the number and length of the tracks to try and figure out what album it is).

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) have you tried deleting it from your iTunes library and redownloading it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes ? Re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link. -
I don't understand what's happening with my Music. All the songs that I purchased, that were previously on my phone, now show up with a Cloud next to them, but I can't play them. If I touch the Cloud, it turns into a red square, acts like it's downloading (which I can see happening in iTunes), but never downloads. The Cloud just stays there.
I've sync'd my phone, I've turned it to "show all music" in Settings, I've drag and dropped the songs/albums onto my phone again. I feel like I've tried everything I've seen recommended, but nothing works.
I've purchased a lot of music from iTunes. It should be there. What's going on?
P.S. Same thing happening with my purchased books. Ugh.Once you successfully add you iTunes library to iTunes Match, you go to Settings>iTunes & App Store on your iOS device and turn on iTunes Match. Your iTunes Match library will then appear on your iOS device.

Songs that I have had previously downloaded from various other sources, but NOW ALL of a sudden they DO NOT PLAY on my IPHONE and DISPLAY a RED STOP BUTTON in a red round circle next to the title. Everytime I click on it it DOESNT play. What happen???? How can i get them to play., Why should i have to pay for the songs, and why are they in the ITUNES store and not in my regular playlist.
Amazing steps you've done so far! The great news is this is very unlikely an issue with your iPhone.
I've run into a similar issue lately as well. I narrowed it down to one song that was causing 30 songs not to sync. I removed the song from the sync list (unchecked it) and all 29 songs were able to sync.
You may be running into a similar issue. This may be a problem with this version of iTunes, an issue with one song or a group of songs; hard to know for sure. It's important to narrow down and isolate the cause. Most imporantly get that music back on there!
The way to narrow down the casue add just a few songs at a time (even 1, just to get that first sync finished). Manually syncing is what you'll need here.
Plug in your iPhone, on the Summary screen (shows a picture of your iPhone, the iOS version, Restore iPhone....; etc). Under the Options area at the bottom choose to Manually Manage Videos and Music then choose Apply in the lower right. The music that's on your iPhone now should be removed from your iPhone now. You're now able to sync music manually.
The link below explains how to drag the songs from the iTunes library on the computer on to your iPhone which will start the sync. Add just one song just to see if you can get 1 of those hundreds of songs on there. If you can, awesome! Keep adding until you find the song or group of songs that are causing this issue.

I'm trying to download the latest version of iTunes and get the message "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run." I have no clue what to do with this to resolve the issue. Thanks for any help!
Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START > ALL PROGRAMS > Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:
START > CONTROL PANEL/ > Add n Remove Programs, highlight ASU and click CHANGE then REPAIR -

This isn't the first time something was wrong with my iPod, but this time I can't let my voice go unheard. Today, I wanted to recharge my iPod, so I plugged it into the computer. A couple of seconds later, it crashed. I thought nothing of it, since crashing is one of the things an iPod does every now and then. But when I looked in iTunes, I found that my play lists were wiped, and none of my songs or videos appeared. At first, I thought that it was just a glitch, and ejected my iPod. But when I looked for my songs it said: 0 songs. I looked in my photos: 0 photos. I checked the Settings\About menu and it said: Audio 0KB, Video 0KB, Photos 0KB, Other 6.7 GB, Free Space 8.2 GB. It appears to me that that "Other" category holds all my media for that is exactly how much my photos/video/songs took up (previously had around 80 MB in the "Other" category due to the games that come with the iPod). I do not understand what has happened with my media. Please help me, for I manually added my media to my iPod. Almost all of which was on my older hard drive. I did not bother to transfer my whole library for never thought I would run into a problem like this. As a result, almost ALL of my songs/video are gone; for I only got my new computer a few months ago and only added a few songs to my iTunes library. Please help! Thank you.

A crash during syncing is often the cause of the data corruption you're now seeing. The only way to fix it is to restore your iPod. You've now learned, the hard way, that an iPod should never be the only place you store your music.
I did not bother to transfer my whole library for never thought I would run into a problem like this.
I've heard it said that there are two groups of people: those whose hard drives have failed and those whose drives haven't failed YET. Hard drives will fail. iPods will need to be restored. You can't really blame Apple because you didn't back up your stuff.
You might check out some of the third party software for transferring music from iPods back to computers. You may be able to salvage some. Search the forums for posts by Zevoneer. He has some good advice on the matter.

Delete the music in your iTunes library, then go to iTunes store, Quick Link, 'Purchased' to redownload again.
