What to do with inconsistencies from RADCUCNT report output ?

Hi Everybody,
Im in preparation phase of non-unicode conversion to unicode ( after upgrade ECC6 EhP6 SP08 - NW731) and I have stuck in step of nametab creation.
The RADCUCNT report is showing me inconsistent objects with reason 2.
All those objects are not exist in DB and ddic dictionary as well.
This is reason why I have still nametab not consistent and I'm scary to do an export as in sap documentation are several attention that this step has to be consistent otherwise will export be failed or import not successful.
i did not find any relevant sap note what to do with such a objects.
Is possible to exclude those objects or something else?

according to note #1062188 you can ignore this warning.
Please proceed as described afterwards:
According to unicode conversion guide, 3.1 Additional Preparation Steps, error "1EED: DD sources table xxxx could not be read" can be ignored.
Please check if there's any content left on the database to make sure these tables are obsolete. If you do not find contents, these tables should be removed as of Unicode conversion guide chapter 2.1.6:
If you want to exclude a table from export after the Consistency Check,
Drop the table from the database.
Delete the table entry from the nametab tables DDFTX, DDNTF, DDNTT on database level.
Reset the table in the Consistency Check.
A better choice for 2. is to remove nametab entries using function module DD_NAMETAB_DELETE via transaction SE37.
Afterwards please run report RADCUCNT again with variant UNICODE-02.
Therefore please execute steps 2.), 3.) and 4.) of the resolution part of note #1865781.

Oracle Apps.XML reports ending with warning when the report output contains

Hi I have XML reports. When we run these reports as concurrent program through Oracle Apps. window and if the report output contains special characters(like Chineese data) in between of English, then the concurrent program is ending with warning. If we remove special characters then it is working fine or when we run the report query directly from backend it is working fine.
We are importing this data from legacy system into oracle apps. and we can't control these characters or decode them with some other charactes.
Can any one guide me how to get the XML report output with special characters.

Hi Hussein,
The concurrent program is ending with Warning. It is unable to publish output file.
For the same when we remove special characters and run the program it is completing and generating the
output. The log fine is as follows when the data file contains special characters.

How to restict number of lines from my report output

I deveoped a noraml alv report where 26 fields displayed in the report output .But when nuber of lines exdeed 65,000 then we are unable to donload it to spread sheet .so we want to reduce the number of lines based on customer .How to do this in layout is there any facility to restict the number of lines ??

Hi I am not sure but you can try like devide table entries in multiple internal tables.
Create saperate ALV Report and give customized button(Next and Back) to each report will have interlink to this reports.

Populating HTML Page with fields from a Report

I think I have finally figured out how to format my question about customizing reports
I am using the Sample Applicaiton and I created a simple report (PAGE 20) using the DEMO_CUSTOMER table. The simple report shows the CUSTOMER_ID, CUST_FIRST_NAME, CUST_LAST_NAME
I created a blank page (PAGE 21) with an HTML Region. In the HTML region I have created an HTML Table with Two Columns and 3 rows:

On my report page 20, I created a link from the Customer ID and I wanted to know if I could populate the Table I created on Page 21 with say a P21_CUSTOMER_ID field and when I click the link on page 20 it redirects to page 21 and P21_CUSTOMER_ID = #CUSTOMER_ID# just like I would do for a formatted report. I added items to page 21 called P21_CUSTOMER_ID, P21_CUST_FIRST_NAME, P21_CUST_LAST_NAME
but I don't know how to get their values into the table that I created. Do I have to make an html form element and reference it? Make fields hidden? Not sure How to populate the table I created with the values that are passed into page 21 and any help would be appreciated. I am sure however I identify the variable I could then just use that same formatting and use Styles and Divs to make the page look like I want and just reference the same way, but unsure of how to do that.
Any assistance you can provide would be very much appreciated. I am trying to create a report view that looks like a web page with images, and the passed data would be populated throughout the HTML and not in a structured Tabular Format if that makes sense.

There are more than one ways of doing this.
Extending what you have done , heres how
Assumption : You are getting values in P21_CUSTOMER_ID, P21_CUST_FIRST_NAME, P21_CUST_LAST_NAME
Edit your HTML table , and refer to the P21 items with &P21_CUSTOMER_ID. notation as follows

</table>The other way is to create a Report with Single Row vertical layout template on Page 21 instead of the HTML region.

Cofiguring & sending email with attachment from Oracle Report 10g

I want to run report from Oracle 10g reports to be sent as email attachement to differnt people with their respective personal content.
The first problem is to know how to configure Oracle reports 10g to be able to send output to email address.
The second problem is to be able to route seperate pages of the report to seperate email address.

Print html file with barcode from abap report

i am printing html file from abap program using gui_execute.
i am using netscape.exe , its printing first time and when reprint its not working
basically html file contains gif file which has fedex barcode.
could you please let me know how to print html file from report

What is up with printing from Disc. plus

Plus seems to have taken printing back to the dark ages. I have tried printing, printing to pdf (I have Adobe installed) and export to pdf and cannot seem to get a consistent ouput from the same worksheet.
1. Printing. Print preview shows me a nicely formatted table, on one page, oriented in landscape. The actual print job produces a two page document with the table spread across the two pages. The first page is printed in portrait, the second in landscape and the title is only printed on the first page. The footer items do not show either.
2. Export to pdf. Same as above. Plus seems to ignore all of the page setup information I give it (ie, Print in landscape, print title on every page, fit table to one page).
3. Print to pdf. Same result as export to pdf.
Am I missing something, or is this tool just not designed for printing.

I sent in the TAR and I already got a response! This is a known bug, and there is a patch for it.

What's wrong with notifications from Apple Community?

There's the repeating issue I've had recently, that is, with all settings set up to receive notifications I don't receive them like with this thread: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6278682? Is it a system problem? If no then I might look in my mail preferences, but could you, please, tell me the Apple Comm. message adress I receive alerts from, in order to be sure it's not been set to be filtered?

The alerts are automatic if you have settings set to receive them. Ther are occasional delays - due to system loading, I think.

How to update SQL Database with totals from Crystal Report

Hello,
I am converting a Crystal Report done using CR 11 and VB6 to VB.Net and Visual Studio 2010. The report is now working fairly well but there is 1 last thing to figure out. In the vb6 version there was a report footer event that I used to update the report totals to a record in a database table.
It appears that in the .net version we have less events to allow outside processing to occure when a report is produced. Looking thru the available events I don't see a way to do this. Would some be so kind as to suggest a way this might be accomplished?

Only thing I can think of is the InProc RAS SDK and using the RowSet Controller to query the footer, then parsing out the info you need to submit to the database.

Update Rows with info from other Rows in Same Table.

I'm trying to update rows with information from the same table. The table gets loaded with info from a report that runs and it has to be a new entry every month but I would like to carry over some of the info from last month. This statement below runs but updates all rows in the new table load and in my test cases I only made a few match so only like 5 records should get updated. This is an example of what I'm trying to do. If I add this(C2.COL_INVC_ID = C1.COL_INVC_ID) to the last "*Where*" statement I get an invalid identifier for "C2.COL_INVC_ID". So what am I doing wrong here??? How can I update only the rows that where also in last months run???

In general, if it's not obvious how to do an UPDATE, then UPDATE is the wrong tool: you want MERGE instead.
Whenever you have a problem, please post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) from all tables involved.
Also post the results you want from that data, and an explanation of how you get those results from that data, with specific examples.
Simplify the problem as much as possible. Remove all tables and columns that play no role in this problem.
If you're asking about a DML statement, such as UPDATE, the CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements should re-create the tables as they are before the DML, and the results will be the contents of the changed table(s) when everything is finished.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using.

Linking BW report outputs with VC story board output

Hi Everyone,
I have a scenario where I have display list of report names in VC output screen and I have to link these texts with few BW report outputs.
This can be achieved in WAD using HTML coding by linking the report's URL, how can we do the same in VC. My customer wants in such a way that the report has to open in a different window in VC.
I checked even in SDN where I didnt find the exact answer.
Can any one help me out to achieve task.

My client has already developed these dashboards in WAD but now they want everything in VC. Here no interference of WAD.
Let me explain you what I exactly want ...
In VC output screen I want to display the list of report names ( Hard coded ), when I click on these reports (I mean text eg: sales analysis), it has to take me to the sales analysis report output in a different window or may be in same window.
Now displaying this text and linking it with the Query designer report output is my confusion. Can u guide me to achieve this. (Here, No interference of WAD)
