What to set as LOV for a checkbox

Hi there.
I've done a search on the forum and found various bits of information regarding checboxes and LOVs but I'd just like to obtain what I believe to be simple clarification on my situation.
I have a form containing a checkbox.
My database stores the relative values as 0 and 1.
When editing an item from the report the correct values are pre-populated in the form.
My question is: What should I set as the LOV for the checkbox?
One resource suggested STATIC:;Y
I am happy to use this but I was wondering why this LOV will only have 1 value as opposed to 1 for 0 and 1 for 1. Adding more than one adds multiple checkboxes which is not my need.

The LOV that Earl gave you should give you the 1 when the checkbox is selected, but you will want to add a computation after submit for the checkbox item that sets the value of the item equal to 0 if the value of the item is null. Otherwise the values you will end up with in the database are 1 for checked and null for unchecked.

When you install JMF2.1.1, Windows Performance Pack the classpath will be automatically set but i am still giving you the files for which the classpath has to be set.
JMF21~1.1\LIB\SOUND.JAR;
JMF21~1.1\LIB\JMF.JAR;
JMF21~1.1\LIB\CUSTOM.JAR.;
Try this and it will work.
Also to check the working there is a class file which performs JMF Diagnostics, if you can give me your contact email, i can send you that file and how to use it.

What Permission Set Is Required For This Scenario?

I currently have an environment where I have limited users to being able to create/delete databases that only they have created. I did this by creating a Login with Public access and granting them the CREATE ANY DATABASE permissions to their
login. This works great as the users can create a database and delete their database but not anyone else's. The issue I have is the following scenario:
Database A is backed up from Server 1 (a different server than the restore server) and the DB was created by User 1
Database A is restored to Server 2 by User 2 who has CREATE ANY DATABASE permission (successfully).
User 2 can see the restored database, but cannot access it: The database is not accessible error.
When I view the database I see that the DB Owner is listed as User 1.
I've been trying to figure out how to be able to allow the user to become the new owner so they can edit/delete the database, but still not affect other databases that they do not own.
I've played with various permission sets but they end up being able to delete other user databases which I'm trying to avoid. I also don't want to have to change the owner myself.
Is there a permission set that I can grant that will allow this scenario?

That's a valid statement, let me explain my scenario and perhaps there is a better way to construct what I'm after.
I have a QA server where different developers create databases. All the databases backed up on the QA server are stored in a shared folder. This shared folder is accessible on our DEV server. We have a different set of developers
who at times need to restore one of the QA backups on the DEV server for different testing reasons. The permission set applied was simply to prevent someone from accidently deleting someone else's database. Restoring someone else's database in
our environment is not a concern.
With this in mind, I was hoping there was an additional permission I could grant that would allow the user restoring the database to become the new owner. I don't want the burden of approving it as it will always be approved.

What paper setting for iron on transfer on Office Jet pro 8600

I don't know what paper setting to use for iron on transfers.
I have also noticed compared to my other printers, colors come out faded not vibrant.
BLACK is more of a charcoal! I'm ready to take this machine back.
I select premium hp photo paper because I want to use most dpi. It is still faded.
However there is not a listing for "Iron on Transfer" paper.

This is extracted from page #32 of its manual:
Have both special media (such as transparencies or letterhead) and plain paper loaded in the trays.
+ Load special media in Tray 1 and plain paper in Tray 2.
+ Make sure the default tray is set to Tray 2.
+ Make sure tray lock is set to Tray 1.
Confusing isn't it !

The iPhone has a feature called "Activation Lock" described here:

Without that Apple ID, you will not be able to use that iPhone.

You can't "accidentally" put a passcode on any iPhone...its a multi-step process. Further, restoring an iPhone will remove the passcode, as the passcode is not included in an iPhone backup.
Are you sure you're talking about the phone passcode & not something else...like the "Restrictions" passcode?

Regarding the USB, see if zapping the PRAM helps.

In general in the material master record you can, hide display or optional for a field, but there are certain feilds should be mandatory for material creation,like base unit of measure,material description,and price contro,l valuation price,valuation class,without this you cannot create a purchase order.
If you dont want to the price control means go for mateial type non valuated material NLAG. because the price control is mainly linked with the material valuation. based on the the price control the price difference will post either sock account or price difference account.

For the inter company STO scenario
Create a vendor for the company code of receiving plant, using account group :0007 Assign this vendor to Delivering plant
in the Purchasing view>Extras>Add. Purchasing data>Plant.
Also create an internal customer for the supplying sales area and assign it to the vendor, it helps in determining the Shipping point.

I'm having to guess at which iMac you have. This forum covers three older variants of the iMac family that were made from 1998-2005 with three different processor types.
If yours has a G-series processor, it can run neither Lion 10.7 nor Snow Leopard 10.6. If the processor is a G5 or a G4 (must be faster than 867mHz( you can install Leopard 10.5. If your plan is to reinstall the OS before turing over the computer, let us know which iMac you have (doing "About this Mac" from the Apple menu will give the processor type--that will do for this purpose)
If "About this Mac" says you have an Intel processor, you have a much newer iMac. Let us know and I can ask the Hosts to move it to that separate forum.
If you wish to maintain control over the computer, you can go to System Preferences > Accounts and set up a new standard account. The user logged into that acct can pretty much use anything installing in that account but cannot install new software or modify the system. That means less chance of something bad getting on the computer but also means they wil be asking you to help install stuff as they won't have access.
If you wish to give the kids full control, set up a new account with admin priveleges, then either strip content form your account and leave it, or simply delete it once you are satisfied that the new accout is working.

What is the best practise for setting dirty flag of a page/view?

For a page/view, normaylly there are 2 things to do for diry data:
1. when it's clean, Save button is disabled, when it's dirty, save button is enabled.
2. when it's dirty and the window is closed, a popup says "you have unsaved data, close will lose the data".
My thought is: it must be handled at client side, because not all valuechange is auto submitted. E.g., you type the 1st letter of a string in a input box, the server side does not know it, but save button should be enabled immediately.
Is it possible to capture all valueChange events in a page or a view at client side?
I'm not sure what is the best practise for setting dirty flag? If there is better solution? Does ADF provide facility for this?

So what is the Database setting in Preference for?

In the years of using Safari, in the Preferences it has settings for Database under Security tab. I've left it at the default 5mb. Whenever I clicked Show Database nothing was ever in there. But yesterday there were two items. I Removed them not paying any attention really. Then today another appeared named ourstage.com.
I've never been to that site or heard of it. So I went to it. Nope nothing I've ever been to.
So what is this database setting? Should I leave it active? What benefit does it do for Safari or me as a surfer?
