    I operate on Windows 7.

    Pat,
I can find no such folder on the C: drive.
I have managed to restore my original Adobe Reader by restoring my system to its condition a couple of weeks back before the problem occurred. (My problem occurred when I tried to update the Adobe Reader.) This original version of Adobe Reader works O.K. again so I'm loath to risk uninstalling it - which is what I was asked to do when I tried running your suggested program' below!

  • Emailing from within Adobe Reader XI to Outlook 2010 32-bit bounces

I have a wierd one going. The problem appears to be with Adobe Reader XI. If I email from withing Adobe Reader up pops Outlook 2010 and away we go but the email bounces. It says the destination address does not exist. If I open Outlook and browse for the attachment and send it without touching Acrobat Reader it works just fine.
The problem sure appears to be sending from Acrobat Reader. Any clues?

I am going to have to ding Adobe. The problem does appear to be on their end. Adobe is detecting the default storage and then using the account associated with that storage.
That is totally incorrect and a very sloppy, inaccurate job on Adobe's part. They need to detect and use the default account. Nicely done Adobe!

what is the different between adobe reader and adobe acrobat reader? What are the procedure to download a Acrobat reader?

    Good day,
Adobe Reader is a free application we offer for viewing and printing PDF files.  Many years ago, it was known as Acrobat Reader.  You may still see some users refer to Adobe Reader as 'Acrobat Reader'.  Old habits are sometimes hard to break!
You can download Adobe Reader by visiting: http://get.adobe.com/reader/

I have tried EVERY suggestion Adobe has made and no matter what, I get the black "Adobe Reader Installer" screen EVERY TIME!!  Any suggestions to help me overcome this problem would be appreciated.  BTW:  I have a Windows 7 Home OS.  I prefer FireFox.  I have successfully downloaded Adobe Reader using all the major browsers, however it does NOT matter, I am NOT able to actually install Adobe Reader, every time all I get is the black pop-up "Adobe Reader Installer" screen!!!

PS.... I had a previous version on my computer that needed to be updated.... so I uninstalled it because I was having trouble installing the new version.... so even that did not help!!

  • What does a "UI_readerinstaller" box do in keeping me from installing adobe reader?

As i download adobe reader 10.5, i get the first step downloaded. but after the security warning box appears and i click run, i get a "Ui_readerinstaller" box that tells me onlly one instance of this program may run at once." The problem is i have downloaded the program but it seems to not  be fully installing, because it isn't registered on my new programs at all. Im just wondering what help you copuld give me in figuring it out. thanks.

First, what is your operating system?
Then: from where are you downloading "adobe reader 10.5"; definitely not from Adobe - the latest Reader version is 10.1.4.

  • When on a job web site and you have to upload your resume apple needs to come up with a update so you can do so. When I try to upload my resume from my adobe  reader or iBooks it keeps on going to photos and won't upload from the adobe or iBooks.

Please come up with an update that will allow people to upload their resume from iBooks or Adobe reader to the website of there choosing using safari. It only gives you the option to upload a photo a take a photo. The iPad or any tablet is going to take over as far as computers are concerned because it's easy to Cary with you and people like the fact of something a lot smaller to carry around then the laptop. Please help need this done like yesterday. Other then that all the apple products I have, has always been the best and they will outwork any windows based or android. You get what you pay for and apple is top dollar.

    Hello Wyodor,
thanks for your reply on my question.
You are wright the index file is 308 KB.
And offcourse that I delete my files and documents is not an Iweb problem, but because my English is not that good, that I thougt I try to tell the whole story, and hope people can read trough the lines.
Why I didn't use Iweb to upload to the server is because the server company recommanded to use file zilla. And I am a nobody with this kind of things, so I did exactly what they tell me to do.
No, i did not make a backup of Iweb and the domain file, but reading other messages on this forum showed me that I can maybe try to make empty the cashfile (?)
and otherwise I have bad luck and have to make my website again. Offcourse I have a lot of examples from all the pages (copied from the local map to my USB stick) and my website is aprox. 15 Mb, (not so big) so it will cost me a few nigths.
But I'm still hoping on a miracle :-)
    greetings Lasource

  • Acrobat 6.0.6 Pro already installed:  What happens when I install Adobe Reader 9.1

    Hello:
I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0.6 Professional edition already installed.
I'd like to upgrade to Adobe  Reader  9.1,  by downloading and installing from here
    http://get.adobe.com/reader/
    Question:
Will the Adobe Acrobat Pro  6.06 be automatically uninstalled  during the installation of the 9.1 reader?
If so, how would I get it back again if I should want to at a later time?
Can Adobe Acrobat Professional Edition 6.0 coexist somehow with Adobe Reader 9.1?
    Thanks in advance:

Hi Mandy. Have you tried starting a thread in these forums to work on your issue? I can assure you that your experience isn't the same experience that everyone else has. Also sounds like you are strictly dealing with Reader whcih isn't the same as what's happening in this thread.
Start a new thread and give as much detail as you can.

  • How do I prevent adobe reader from opening a file after it's saved from chrome adobe reader?

Whenever I save a file from the chrome adobe reader, it opens automatically in adobe reader which is incredibly annoying. Please help!

Ahh, but that's the design function of any PDF viewer add-on to a browser.
To avoid -- Use the browser feature that saves a file to the local machine.
Then open the file with the appropriate application.
If your machine/device does not support this then you'd want to change to one that supports what you want eh.
    Be well...

I am able to download files from my councel library but I can not open or do anything with them and above is the fault message I receive. Please can anybody advise what can be done I have installed the Adobe digital reader and my computer is Apple iMac with Lion as operation system and Safari as browser.
I have now spend 3 days and still I can not get ybooks in my KOBO reader.
Please what can somebody advise. The KOBO reader is purchased from Whitcouls in September and has 100 books loaded.I am able to see the books loaded in the memory of the Kobo on my computer.! but not add anything!
On an other iMac with SL from a friend I could get the downloaded files from the councel  library in a KOBO touch. Why do I have all these problems with my own iMac and can not do anything else than looking which books are in the library of this Kobo.
I also have a program called calibre and that can also not handle the downloaded files from the councel library!
I also have a Windows 7 computer together with Window Explorer and calibre the whole procedure works fine.
My own conclusion now is I can get this ebooks stuff managed with Window7 and on another Apple with SL installed.
Why do I have the problems with Lion on my own computer

No problems anymore I found the head of our library got the Adobe program working. No other program will work with our library.I am very happy now

  • How do I sign, save, and close a completed from in Adobe Reader for iOS?

After completing a PDF form and emailing it from Adobe Reader for iOS, the recipient receives it as a form and can change it. How do I save the form in Adobe Reader for iOS before sending it as an email so that the recipient cannot update it further.
    Thank you.

Thank you George. Are there any Apps you would recommend? I am looking for something where a PDF form can be completed, and perhaps annotated, and then flattened to email to be filed as a record.
    Thanks.

  • What do I do if Adobe Reader is not in Open In list as an app on iPad?

What I do if Adobe Reader is not in Open In list as an app on iPad?

    Hi,
The Open-In menu on iPad lists a maximum of ten apps. You also need to scroll down the list to see some of the listed apps.
In case Adobe Reader does not show up in the menu, you may choose to delete some of the other apps which may result in Adobe Reader being listed in the Open In menu.
Please let us know if this solves your issue.
    Thanks,
    Rishi

  • Sign option is missing from my Adobe Reader X (10.1.3)

I am using Adobe Reader X (10.1.3) and have found that my Sign icon/option, that was once available, is now gone. When I bring down the drop down list under View then go to Show/Hide-Toolbar Items-File the Sign icon is not there. On the far right side of my command bar the options available are Tools and Comment. When I click on Tools my only options are Create PDF FIles-Export PDF Files-Send Files. While using this version of Adobe Reader X I have been able to sign documents now all of a sudden this option is gone. How can I restore the Sign option?

We are running Citrix XenApp 6.5 and publishing a desktop from 6 2008R2 Servers. Non of the users have local admin rights to the servers. Some of the users launch Adobe 11.0.2 and get the "Sign" button between Tools and Comments. Others do not. I have done the following:
    Uninstalled and reinstalled
    Verified settings between users.
I dont understand why the users are getting different results when they are using the same program on the same server. Any help would be great. Thank you in advance.

  • Printing from sequenced Adobe Reader 11

We have sequenced Adobe Reader XI which works fine apart from a printing issue.
When the user prints an Adobe document a lot of the text displays as small boxes.....looks like a driver issue?
If the user goes to the advanced printer settings and ticks 'Print as Image' it prints out fine
    Any ideas?

Take a look here, I beleive much of this guide can be applied to Adobe Reader XI
    http://www.applepie.se/adobe-acrobat-xi-and-appv-5
Check out the info about the print driver in particular
