I have a handful of Quicktime movies on my computer that I have edited and then coverted to MPeg4, AVI and mov. Now what I need to do is to get the to flash to put on my webpage. How exactly would I go about this?

I finally bit the bullet and purchased my first IPod this weekend (160GB). I am really looking forward to being able to carry my music with me anywhere, especially in the car and at work. At home I have all my CDs ripped to MP3 and use Slim Server and Squeezebox to play music throughout the house, http://slimdevices.com. It's really slick. SlimServer is a terrfic application for cataloging my music library. I also use Easy CD-DA Extractor to rip my CDs as I have found it to be the best.
Now comes the issue of ITunes....
Since purchasing the IPod this weekend I have not been able to use it as I have been spending all of my time trying to get ITunes to catalog my music the way I want and the way I have it already in my Music folder. This is becoming a joke! Not to mention when trying to sync the attemps in ITune with the IPod the IPod stops syncing after about 4 albums and just sits there.
According to the limited (and I do mean limited) instructions that come with the IPod, it appears that ITunes is the only way to get music into the IPod.
1. Is this true?
2. If not, what is better?

How do I make simple movies for my website?

I would like simple movies to start playing when navigating between pages on my website. For example, I would like 3-4 movies to start playing simultaneously as thumbnails and clicking on the thumbnail would start the movie selected.

In general I say you can do anything you can think of with Flash, within the limits of the program, and your idea seems feasible. But the details of how you go about doing it are to broad to offer anything except to say to try getting it going and when you run into a problem making it work, post again with specifics of what you've tried and what is failing.

The value of the Channel Strip volume etc is not stored within the C Strip setting, as you have discovered.
If you really wanted, you could add a Gain plug to the strip, with it set to give the correct output level with the Fader set to 0
(Or just set the fader manually in MS)

I have had exactly the same problem now with two mini iPads. Everything was tried; 1) restarting; 2) restoring factory settings etc. NONE worked. Eventually Apple agreed to replace it. I have had the replacement now for two to three months and exactly the same thing is happening again. So off to Apple tomorrow to get another replacement.
I am quite a heavy user of the iPad so wonder if this is something to do with the fault.
It is so frustrating as sometimes reset works, and then after 10/20/30/40 minutes (you pick) it goes unstable again.

Although you say you have let the battery drain, was it for long enough? Since nothing else that you've tried so far has worked, I suggest that you leave the iPod unplugged for at least four days, preferably a week. That way, if something is stopping the iPod from turning the screen on, then whatever it is will drain the battrey. However, since the screen isn't on, that may take longer than if the screen was on.
Then, after that time, plug the iPod into a power source and leave it alone for at least thirty minutes. Only after thirty minutes will it show any signs of life, but you should leave it until it is fully charged before trying to use it.
If you get to this stage, the fact that the battery has drained will cause the iPod to reset when it springs back to life.

I've looked at that, but on my PC, "look for remote speakers connected with airtunes" isn't an option.
The only options I get are "prevent ipods [etc] from syncing automatically" , "warn me when [X %] of the data on this computer will be changed" and "forget all remotes". Its also got a list of backups I have saved, as well as a button to reset sync history.
When I am playing a song, the "airplay" button isn't even visible.
I am sure that the apple tv setting is on as well. Is there anything else you can help me with?

A misleading and malicious popup. Launch Safari with the Shift key held down; if that doesn't work, temporarily disconnect the computer from the Internet.
