What to wear question

OK - proper question here.
What should we wear for the conference?
I'm assuming the temps in the Salt Palace will be reasonable, but the forecast is suggest highs of around 32F and lows around 20F. That would imply that anything that is comfortable indoors would be bordering on hazardous outside.
There are the buses to get around, but that means standing around waiting for them.
I feel that central Texas will not adequately prepare me for this experience

That is probably true. I grew in in Minnesota, so it's actually felt
kinda balmy the past few days as temps have been in the low-to-mid 30's
(I live about 4 miles from the Salt Palace).
Here in SLC, we got pasted with snow yesterday - about 8" in the valley
if my back yard is any indication.
I would be prepared for snow and morning/evening temps in the 20s.
For those who are from warmer climates and not used to dealing with these
kinds of temperatures, you'll want a warm hat and a warm coat if you're
going to spend any more than about 10-15 minutes outside at any given
time.
Also, good footwear is important. Typical dress shoes/tennis shoes are
good if there's not snow on the ground. I personally prefer a good pair
of hiking boots in weather like we had yesterday.
The last thing you want to have happen is a good snow hits and you have
to walk through the snow to get to the bus. Wet socks for the day is not
a fun thing.

You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Either the file or folder which was in that spot(if any) got moved or deleted, or a bad write to the Finder's plist file.

To be more specific, the computer is not finding a valid system when it starts up. This may result from the hard drive's physical mechanism failing, or the system on the drive being corrupted in some way.
Repairing permissions is not likely to fix this issue. Instead I would suggest booting from the system install DVD, running Disk Utility, selecting your hard drive's partition and select *Repair Disk*.
Note: if the hard drive does not show up in Disk Utility at all, it is dead and will need to be replaced. Contact Apple (800-275-2273 in the USA) and have them set up warranty service, or carry the MacBook in to an Apple retail store to have it fixed. Be sure to [make an appointment|http://www.apple.com/retail] first you you may wait a long time to speak to a Mac Genius.
If Repair Disk finds any problems and is able to correct them, you may be able to restart and everything be okay. If it is unable to correct the problems, you will need to erase and restore your hard drive.
If Repair Disk does not find any problems, I would suggest an Archive and Install as described in [this article|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1710].

Amazing, I can't find out what app on my phone just ran 388mb of data xfer at 2:44am yesterday while I'm sound asleep yet the LE types can subpoena and search warrant anything I do online and with who and for how long. Verizon list who I receive phone calls from and make calls to and from where I receive messages and to whom/where I text but can't tell me squat about something that is eating up band width. I'm sure it's probably some app that is running in the background on my phone. I've just got to figure out what it is and kill it. I want to drop (cause I don't use it, it's slower than a dial up 1200bps modem)my data plans and save about $50 a month.

Do you mean on a thumbnail in the organizer?That means that organizer has lost track of the original file. Usually that happens when you've done something with the photo outside of organizer, like moved it or deleted the original. If you want organizer to be able to keep track of your photos, you need to do all moving and deleting from within the organizer, not in Windows Explorer or the Mac Finder.

Hi,
The best way to check whether a personnel exists on the system is to check for the unique ID given to the person by the states (as you said one example is the SSN for US). I guess all of the countries has this king of unique ID attached to their citizens. However, in case of a multi-national implementation, you may need a more integrated way of checking these several types of numbers. Checking for the full name may only work with user interaction.

with that limited information you gave me, it's quite difficult for me to point you in the right direction as i don't know the whole picture of your problem.
if you would insist so, i would say take up the ff courses:
1. Introduction to SQL/SQL*Plus
2. PL/SQL
3. Oracle Reports
3. Oracle Forms
4. Oracle Portal/Collaboration suite
5. etc.
and these will take you some time to accomplish.

"What Size" results question. How can I locate used GB not appearing on HD?

My Version Tracker "What Size" results are as follows:
/ - on disk 91.4 GB
Capacity 465 GB
Used 145 GB
Available 320 GB
71.1 GB Users
8.61 GB Applications
6.34 GB Library
2.67 GB username
1.43 GB System
I have about 30 GB of songs, 5 GB of Pictures, and 30 GB of movies. So I am confident that the "Users" total (71.1 GB) is in keeping with what I have used. (And Users, Applications, Library, username, and System all equal what is "on disk, 91.4 GB.")
What I am wondering is, how can I locate the unaccounted for 53.6 GB? (Which is 91.4 subtracted from the "Used 145 GB.")
I have been unsuccessful in finding any searches related to this subject that I can use. I found a couple about using Terminal, however, I would need step by step procedures for that.
Any ideas, articles, or threads anyone can point me to?

First of all, always keep in mind the double standard problem that prevents from being able to make straight, simple, easy counts. See:
- (KB article # 30065) Macintosh Hard Disk: Is It Missing Space?
Then, WhatSize should be run separately from each user account, as you cannot use it to spy on the others, it doesn't take into account the others' files.
Also: some system files like VM have a fluctuating size. Quit as many apps as you can and test if several measurements give different results.
WhatSize is able to show (one user's) every folder and every file. Use its different ways to show results, and detect the "strange" sizes firstly from what should be expected.
It is very possible that a file has grown huge for some reason.
