Good day,  the SAP Library mentioned of invoice reduction due to price variance.  We use txn MIRO for invoice verification,  following process as in SAP library;  when posting error occured No separate type exist for invoice reduction.  When adding the Document type for invoice reduction in txnOMR4, I've used KG (Credit memo) also used KA, but these postings (credit note) go to the Goods Received/Invoice Received, is it possible that these credit memo created by the system go against the vendor?

u do not need any separate document type for invioce reduction
what u need to do is select the invoice reduction varaint from layout in miro

  • Definition of a new type of invoice for Evaluated Receipt Settlemen (ERS)

    Hello,
I need to define a new type of invoice for Evaluated Receipt Settlemen (ERS). Is it possible? What should i do to configure the system?
    Thanks in advance,
    Luis Álvarez.

    Hi,
ERS is used for invoice plan & invoicing plan for leasing agreements like, aim to considerably reduce the manual data entry effort in the purchasing and invoice verification (A/P) department.
The invoicing plan enables you to schedule the desired dates for the creation of invoices relating to the planned procurement of materials or services independently of the actual receipt of the goods or actual performance of the services. It list the dates on which you wish to create and then pay the invoices.
    The steps are,
1.XK02: In Purchasing Data tick the check box of AutoEvalGRSetmt Del,
2.ME12: Should not select No ERS check box,
    3.ME21N: Create PO,
    4.MIGO: Receive Goods,
    5.MRRL: Evaluated Receipt Settlement

  • How To... Change the Data Type for a SELECT-OPTIONS at run time.

    Hello,
I am trying to restrict the values available for entry into a SELECT-OPTIONS at run time depending on user input.
The logic is as follows. The user has two input fields. A PARAMETER field which has the type RSDIOBJNM and allows them to choose an InfoObject. And the user has a SELECT-OPTIONS field to allow them to select the Characteristic values for that InfoObject.
I would like the following example to be possible:
The user enters 0MATERIAL into the PARAMETER. When the user clicks on the SELECT-OPTIONS control code will derive a list of possible options the user can enter in the SELECT-OPTIONS. In this case only values found in the master data or at least no values greater than 18 characters.
I have looked at the following function module SELECT_OPTIONS_RESTRICT and this do not appear to be helpful as they only restrict on the signs allowed for the values (unless I misunderstand, it is a complex function module!).
The code I have so far is (thus the user enters a InfoObject into p_char1 and the select options so_char1 should only accept active values of that InfoObject):
declaration of variables for user interface
      DATA c_char(32) TYPE c.
    declaration of count variable
      DATA i_count TYPE i.
    declaration of user interface
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK a1 WITH FRAME TITLE text-001.
        PARAMETERS: p_ipack TYPE RSLOGDPID.
      SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK a1.
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK b1 WITH FRAME TITLE text-002.
        PARAMETERS: p_char1 TYPE RSDIOBJNM.
        SELECT-OPTIONS: so_char1  for c_char NO INTERVALS.
        PARAMETERS: p_char2 TYPE RSDIOBJNM.
        SELECT-OPTIONS: so_char2  for c_char NO INTERVALS.
        PARAMETERS: p_char3 TYPE RSDIOBJNM.
        SELECT-OPTIONS: so_char3  for c_char NO INTERVALS.
      SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK b1.
Is what I am trying to do possible???
    Thanks for any help. Ross.

You really want to restrict possible values of a select-option based on another field, not change the length of type of the select-option field, right?
Here is what you do:  Code a custom F4 value help for the select-option at event AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE REQUEST FOR..  The first thing you do here is read the value of the parameter field (p_ipack in your example).  You can use function module DYNP_VALUES_READ.  Based on this value, you can propose values for the select-option fields.  Note that the use can still enter whatever s(he) wishes in to the select-option field without pressing F4. In this case, you will have to code some input validations taking into account the value in the p_ipack field.

  • Excise Invoice Selection in Return Delivery

I want this beacause we want to use the same Excise Invoice for Different Order if it gets free.I also want to know whether we are following the correct Steps Sequence.
    Help required Urgently.

    Hi
For depot returns use the transaction code J1IG. Create this with reference to material document of
return delivery. Thus there will be and reciept entry in RG23D register. This again can be refered whil doing depot excise invoice (J1IJ)
Do not use J1IH this will not have any impact in RG23D table. You have to use J1IH in case of
factory sale and not depot sales.

  • What type of new harddisk to install (MacBook Late 2008)?

    Hi,
I have a MacBook 13" Late 2008 (alu version) and would like to expand my hard disk memory.
What type of harddisk do i have to look for? Can I expand my memory up to 1TB? And is it preferably doing this myself rather than by a professional? Any tips?
    Thanks a lot,
    F from Belgium

You can but HD's are expensive right now due to monsoon flooding
in Indonesia and 1TB will be expensive. You might check newegg's
selection as they have very good, comprehensive and critical product
reviews. You might consider going to a 7200 RPM drive vs. your 5400.
To minimize any sensation of vibration, investigate the WD Scorpio
Black series that combines speed and quietness with a five year
warranty. You are certainly able to do the job yourself using the
included instructions or videosthat are widely available, especially i
f you will spend a few bucks on the small Torx screwdriver (I believe
you will require the T6). Another good supplier who provides install
videos is Other World Computing (macsales.com).
Good luck and all best, Tom

  • What type of partition should I use? Range or Hash or ..?

    Hi,
    I am on Oracle 8.1.7.4 .
I have a table with 10 million rows and looks like its a good candidate for partitioning.
There is a varchar2 column and the data is evenly distributed on the string value. If I want to partition the table on that string value what type of partitioning can I use. How can I give the range, if I use range partition, on the string value ?
    Can/Should I use hash partitioning?
I know that there is a list partitioning in O9i, but I am on 8i.
    Please help.
    Regards

I have a table with 10 million rows and looks like its a good candidate for partitioning.
    </quote>
Table volume, in itself, is not enough to warrant partitioning … hope you have some other reasons.
    <quote>
… but would like to partition the table on the mentioned varchar2 column, so that queries would be efficiant.
    </quote>
Since you don’t mention the actual query or class of queries, maybe it is worth mentioning that partitioning could speed up some queries but also can slow down a lot more other queries.
    <quote>
So, how can i re-create the table partitioned on a varchar2 column
    </quote>
No different than numbers or dates?
    create table tp
    ( str   varchar2(10)  not null
    ,fill  char(20)      not null
    partition by range(str)
    ( partition p1 values less than ('F')
,partition p2 values less than ('L')
,partition p3 values less than ('R')
,partition p4 values less than (maxvalue)
    insert into tp
    select substr(object_name,1,10), lpad('x',20,'x')
    from user_objects
    flip@FLOP> select * from tp partition (p2);
    STR        FILL
    F1         xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    GENERATE_R xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
IPSDEV.US. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxThe link to Tom’s article is fine … it just happens to be one of the few threads he’s not mentioning that partitioning is not the magic fast=true mechanism … look for some other articles on partitioning and you’ll quickly discover his views on this subject.
There may be a case for partitioning … but you haven’t presented any reasonable justification for it … so, why bother?

  • How to default payment type to invoice in istore billing page

We are using B2B user scenario in iStore and we have a requirement to default payment type to invoice in billing page of iStore and user can change it to credit card if required.

    Hi,
This is controlled in the ibeCPmdPmtOptions.jsp
selected_pmt_opt  IN   value in order to specify which radio button to have selected
    |                          Possible values: "new_purchase_order", "invoice",
    |                                           "new_credit_card", "existing_credit_card", "fax_cc", "readonly_cc"
However, the current design/behavior will default to credit card once the user has one setup -
If the iStore user has a default credit card, then the default credit card is defaulted into the cart as the payment option when the user adds the first item to a new cart.  If credit card is not enabled by the merchant as a payment type, then Invoice, Cash and Check (in this order) will be chosen, depending on which payment types have been enabled by the merchant.
If the user does not have a default credit card in his profile and creates a new credit card, the new credit card is used in the checkout process and becomes the default credit card; this card then will be defaulted the next time.
See:  Oracle iStore Implementation and Administration Guide
Section for "Defaulting for Billing Data"
We have the following Enhancement Request (ER) open to have no defaulted payment making the iStore user choose -
ER / Bug 15998841 - ISTORE TO HAVE NO DEFAULTED PAYMENT METHOD AND USER MUST CHOOSE

  • What is an Invoice list? Why is it used?

    Hi All,
Can any one tell me what is an Invoice list? Why is it used?
    Thank you for your help.
    Regards,
    Shanu

Invoice Lists makes it possible to send a list which contains multiple billing documents like invoices, credit memos and debit memos, to a Payer at specific time or on specific days.  This can be generated in background processing.
There are two types of invoice lists in the standard:-
    -  One for Invoices and debit memos and
    -  One for Credit memos

  • Sub-Contracting Excise Invoice Selection in J1IF01

    Hai Friends,
Let me share one issue, which i faced in my project.
I was doing sub - contracting process..  I have created sub-contract PO, With reference to that i have issued material to sub-contrator. then i went to create for subcontracting challana... where i couldn't able to select the excise invoice selection????????????????????
What could be the reason ?
Some body told that i have to maintain no.of days in Excise setting ?
    Which i have maintained already..
Some body told that In J1ID , I have to maintain ***.VALUE ?
Which value i have to maintain there ???? I don't know....
even though i have given some value in J1ID... Then i tried after that also i couldn't able to excise invoice selection in J1IF01....
So please guide me .... What could be the reason ? where i have missed configuration ?

Assesable value is maintained in J1ID. It is the value of the components that your sending to the vendor for processing which is certified by the respective authority.
For creating challan to J1IF01 and enter the material document with which you have made the transfer posting and save.

  • Changing up what happens at the 'select resource - queued' step

    Greetings!
So, I'm curious .. we'd like to change how we do things regarding what happens at the select resource - queued step. Our current state is a series of business checks, place the call on hold, play CUCM MOH, take the call off hold, go back to the queue loop and repeat.
To change things up I'd like to play some royalty-free music as a prompt instead of putting the call on hold. I would use boolean flags to keep track of what prompts have played so callers do not hear the same wav file over and over and over.  So, I'm thinking of doing something like this ...
    At the queued step ..
    play a prompt
    begin the queue loop
         business check
         agent check
play royalty-free (RF) music clip 1 (45 sec)
play informational prompt 1 (15 sec)
         opt-out check
go back to the queue loop
    2nd time through ..
         business check
         agent check
         play RF 2 (45 sec)
         play info 2 (15 sec
         opt-out check
    3rd time ...
         business check
         agent check
         play RF 3 (45 sec)
         play info 3 (6 sec)
         opt-out check
    4th time ...
         business check
         agent check
         play RF 4 (45 sec)
         play info 4 (6 sec)
         opt-out check
And maybe one more time playing these types of prompts before we switch to placing the call on hold and playing CUCM MOH. Generally, most calls are answered before the five minute mark, however, we do have outliers who wait a very long time. Playing CUCM MOH might be the appropriate thing to do for those rare instances?
I'm curious if anyone else has tried this and am hoping for some feedback?
    Thanks!
    Keith

    Hi
There's nothing wrong with doing it that way. I've seen a few customers play music from prompts rather than holding; it's easier to maintain/change that way.
