What type of licence to buy for a strictly Remote Desktop environment only?

Hi there,
I have a question about Server 2012 licensing for a specific operating environment. We have a single server in our company hosting our accounting and inventory software. Our software vendor allows us to use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to the server
and use the software without needing to install individual copies in each user's machine.
I also understand that Windows Server 2012 comes without pre-packaged CALs like how it used to be with Server 2003/2008 (where it came with a server licence and 5 CALs automatically).
What's the appropriate licence needed for a usage environment like this? I am pretty sure we have to purchase RDS licenses (previously Terminal Services License) for each machine, but must each license be accompanied with a regular Client Access License? Our
accounting software is unlike some other setups where the data is hosted on the server but all operating power is focussed on the client PC. In our scenario, all work is done exclusively on the server.

- Directly or indirectly accesses any of the RDS product functionality, and/or
- Directly or indirectly interacts with the graphical user interface of the server software using RDS functionality or other third-party technology

I moved from the UK to the US with my iMac. What do I need to buy for the UK iMac to work in the US? A power convertor? A plug convertor? or Both?

But I'm terrified that my iMac will blow up if I only use a plug convertor and not some sort of voltage convertor (Transformer).

I do not have a windows OS of any kind installed on my mac. I would like to get windows 8 for my mac from amazon.co.uk .

Bouncing around Adobe's multi-page website nightmare I still could not find one answer to the type of 5 free websites a Creative Cloud member can get.
On the Creative Cloud home page it says:

Checking further I understand one can only get 5 BASIC site!!! so what is it?

For Adobe Business Catalyst there is no phone support, and the live chat can be reached only from your site admin -help & support area: http://screencast.com/t/4lgmni8u . If you reach Adobe support instead of Business Catalyst support, your issues might not been solved right away.

I have a 512GB internal and use a 2Tb external for my Time Machine backups. Unless you choose to go with one of Apple's Time Capsules (which I wouldn't) you can get a good drive that has 2-3x your internal disk capacity with multiple ports from a variet of vendors. I have two of these G-Drives from Amazon and love them. One a 1Tb and one a 2tb.

The [administraton guide|http://deimos.apple.com/rsrc/doc//iTunesUAdministrationGuide/Introduction /chapter1_section1.html] doesn't explicitly state what type of server is necessary, but given that iTunes U is based on RSS feeds, a Web server would be a good choice for hosting your content (much like hosting any podcast).

How do I figure what version OS X to buy for reboot disc?

I bought a G4 Powerbook with superdrive on ebay last year, and earlier today ran the update to 10.4.7. After, I stupidly changed the username from the previous owner to my own while in the info window. Naturally, the old user was put back into the system folder/users and the new user with my name, lost all the preferences. I tried copying the old prefs over and really screwed up: I think I deleted the library folder or at least moved it to a stupid place. Now the machine won't boot at all--total kernel panic. The powerbook did not come with the original system discs, and I don't know what version I need to buy. I do have a iMac DV SE, but it won't burn discs so I have to buy a retail version to reboot. How do I figure out what to buy for my G4 Powerbook? Thnx

From the the Field Detail section for the TYPE_CUSTOM field in BufferedImage: the image type is not recognized.
You could make a new BufferedImage with TYPE_INT_RGB, or TYPE_INT_ARGB if the image has or will have transparent pixels, and copy the TYPE_CUSTOM image into it. Then you can manipulate/process the new image.

Helping my aunt with tech support. Do I need to buy 2 copies of Remote Desktop? (One for each of us?)

I just bought Remote Desktop to help my aunt who needs tech support all the time. Can I go to her house and install it on her computer by signing into her App Store? Or can I download an installer for her computer somehow? Or do I have to buy 2 copies for this one task of helping her?

You likely don't need Remote Desktop.
If you are in the same house/building or on the same Local Area Network (LAN) you will be able to connect to her without installing anything on her computer. If you are not in the same house/building or on the same LAN then you will not be able to connect to her.
Apple Remote Desktop is an application which provides remote support options for Businesses and organizations to administer their 2-1000+ Macs on the same network, it is not useful for connections that are actually "remote" from your physical location.
If you want that functionality, you can provide screen sharing support for free with Messages in your Applications folder. Simply start an iMessage conversation between two macs and you can find the screen sharing session button in the "Details" section at the top of the conversation.
