What type of Voice Capabilities does 9iAS provides ??

IBM recently added Voice capabilities to their application
server. I am looking at an application where I need to
integrate voice over web. Does any body has any clues so as to
how this can be done with the 9iAS. Thanks.
KI KI - I'm no expert on the wireless capabilities of 9iAS, however
I believe this may provide the functionality you are looking
for. The wireless features of 9iAS allow you to create
presentation independant XML representations of your
applications which can then be rendered into the required markup-
language of your choice using open stds style sheets. I believe
that VoiceXML and VoxML is something that may be supported in
this fashion, therefore giving you voice capabilities.

What types of NFC tags does the Lumia 920 support?

I bought some Mifare Classic 1k tags online hoping I could write and read some custom tags with the few apps on the marketplace but it doesn't seem the Nokia interacts with them well.
I found this on wikipedia.
"At the moment BlackBerry phones and the Nokia Lumia 610 can't read/write Tectile stickers ". (which are apparently based on Mifare Classic.)
I have found no other mention of what types of tags are supported, so that is my question. What types of tags are guaranteed to work with the 920?

I've run some NFC tests with the 920 because I run an NFC marketing platform.

Although this doesn't cover specific NFC tags I can confirm that it works well with MiFare UL tags. The use case of receiving a contact directly, and directing to web destinations works well.
Interestingly we haven't managed to successfully initiate a pairing with other NFC accessories (BH505 headphones or the 360 Speaker) at all. We'd be interested to know if anyone else has this issue.
But from a tag perspective we are confident that the Lumia 920 works with the MiFare UL tags.
Feel free to contact us at [email protected] if you are looking for some tags that you want to program to go to a web destination. We'd supply them pre-programmed and you can virtually re-program them using the platform as opposed to having to physically re-write the tags.

GL2 W/ kenko .65 converter...what type of 82mm filters does it accept?

just wondering if anyone knoes what type of uv filter the kenko .65 wide angle converter will take. Ive tried tiffen, but the thread ring is too thick. I know it is a 82mm thread but it seems to be a little "Specail" the wierd thing is that it accepts a Tiffen circular polarizer.

You should be looking for .sis or .jar applications. Presumably if you go to Menu > Applications > App. mgr. > Settings > Software installation = ALL and Online certificate check = NO?

Did you look at the datasheet? You might also want to consider VI Logger where you use the newer, cheaper, higher performing M series.

We are getting up and running iTunes U on our University and we are running into the issue of what type of storage we need to provide for iTunes U, i.e. (web share, afp share, smb share. If you could let me know or point me in the direction i need to go it would be greatly appreciated.

The [administraton guide|http://deimos.apple.com/rsrc/doc//iTunesUAdministrationGuide/Introduction /chapter1_section1.html] doesn't explicitly state what type of server is necessary, but given that iTunes U is based on RSS feeds, a Web server would be a good choice for hosting your content (much like hosting any podcast).
