What upgrades if any can I do to an older computer

My computer is Windows 7 Professional 32 bit HP/Compaq DC 7700 Small Form 4Gigs shared memory
I cannot play games well because the memory runs low very quickly. Would getting a new motherboard and new Processor allow me to change to a 64 bit. Or would I have to purchase a whole new Computer. I cannot afford a new Computer at the moment and Windows 32 bit cannot support more memory at the moment. I wish I could afford the terabyte computer but I will have to wait. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Hi,
The DC7700 SFF was manufactured for limited purposes. Why fight the inevitable. Just go buy a new PC that has enough power to play modern games.

unless you have one of the latest models of an imac g4 with usb 2.0 i would suggest a firewire burner instead. they're a little harder to find but they're still out there.

A brief rundown here...over the last 7 or 8 years, I've had 2 carriers, T-Mobile, with whom I was pretty happy and then Verizon for the majority of that time, due to a friend of mine working there. He is no longer with the company, however. Here's the dilemma. Today, I managed to slam my Samsung Brightside in a car door (jacket pocket, jacket not all the way out) and the sole redeeming feature of that otherwise useless phone is that it took repeated drops to the floor really well. I have probably dropped that thing more than my previous 4 phones combined and maybe squared.
Anyway, the long and short of it is that the Brightside is no longer under the 12 month warranty and it doesn't look like I really have any good options here, aside from trying to hunt down a used one and suffering through another year of a phone I increasingly detest. If I have to get a smartphone, I may as well look at making a move to whoever is going to charge me less for services fees, etc. and right now that is T-Mobile. The basic questions here are: is Verizon going to get to be price competitive and for my particular situation, what can Verizon do for me specifically?
I will be in a Verizon store tomorrow, but a few of the deals that are attractive seem to also be internet only. I am looking to be back in order tomorrow, one way or the other, as my phone is not really functional at all, so if anyone at Verizon has some answers or solutions to keep me in the house of Big Red, I'd love to hear them...quick.

Well first off unless you had the supplement insurance verizon will not replace a phone broke in a car door. That is physical damage and is not covered.
At present you can use if qualified the device payment plan which is full price spread out over 12 months with so much down and the rest paid over the year. There is a $2 fee per month for this plan. However if you have unlimited data etc on the plan now you keep it. That is a plus for many customers.
You can use the edge plan, you pay so much and after a certain time frame after paying half the phone cost you can trade in the phone and get a new super doper phone, again you pay so much down and can do this over and over. However if you have unlimited data you lose it. The cost of data is very expensive and read the posts here about problems with actual usage versus what was never used before.
Or you can pay full price for the device or get another device from a friend or buy a cheap device from a place off the net.

What upgrade(if any) do I need?

Note: I posted this earlier in the Gaming post which was in this forum, but I saw that both my post and the post above mine were not answered, and I figured that the thread was no longer being looked at actively.
I have a black Macbook with 1 gig RAM and all the standard features which come with a black Macbook. I recently received the Orange Box, and seeing as the Macbook is my only computer, I installed it into Windows through Boot Camp. As soon as I got to the main menu, I noticed a few issues. The first being that the menu screen had no art on it, just the available selection options(i.e. Find Server, Create Server etc.). I thought that this might just be a Mac glitch, so I went ahead and clicked Find Server and entered a server to play in. Everything looked fine until I actually selected my character and started to play. While I could see the graphics, my FPS was abysmal and soon after I had begun the game my computer restarted itself. I know that I cannot put in a graphics card because the black Macbook uses the integrated/shared graphics system, but I was just wondering if there was anything I could do/upgrade in order to run this game? Do I need more RAM, do I need to update some drivers, or is my situation completely hopeless? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

In any case, my experience has been that memory prices fluctuate wildly and it takes a while before lack of demand is outweighed by poor supply. I bought my 1GB module from Crucial.com for my iBook G4 1.42 in Sept of 2005. The price was somewhere in the $150 range. Right now it's going for $77. PC2700 SODIMMs were a relatively mature product when I bought that module, but they're still being made and the price hasn't ramped up quite yet. I don't think we've gotten to the point where it's sure that PC2-5300 memory prices have reached their low never to come back. When the product reaches "end of life" manufacturing, I'm sure the price will start ramping up when the only viable sources are "new old stock". I remember when NASA was combing eBay for electronic parts that were no longer being made.

I had the same issue with the Galaxy S4 trying to see what the hype was about and was my first and last android phone. With that being said unfortunately it is a hit or miss with the Mac recognizing an android device or not. It worked perfectly fine the first time around and then it stopped working for no apparent reason. Through trial and error nothing I did solved the issue. I did however plug it in my Mac and left it connected for about 30-40 min to charge for a bit and all of the sudden it recognizes the phone. So I just launched Android File Transfer and everything else became fluid after that. I have no explanation as to why it happened that way, but what I gathered from this is maybe you just have to let it sit for a minute while plugged in before the Mac recognizes it, after all they are opposing software. On a side note this is why I will always be an apple user, Iphones and the like never have this problem

Given what you describe you will have to upgrade Snow Leopard by downloading and installing Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1. Then go to the App Store and sign in with your Apple ID. Purchase and download Mountain Lion to upgrade your OS. Then purchase the latest upgrades for the iLife applications which includes iPhoto.
Or you can go on eBay, Google, or Amazon and purchase another copy of the DVD based iLife.

The answer is not if you use iTunes.
The TC is NOT an iTunes server.. it is not a media device at all. It is a backup location for Time Machine.
You need a computer in the network which stores the iTunes library and you can then play it via the ipad.
A mini with a large USB drive plugged in will work fine.. it doesn't need to be new.. a couple of years old mini will work just as well.
As an extention to this, can we use multiple Airport expresses plugged into mutiple sound systems to simultaneously access different music from the same time capsule?
I am not sure.. there will be network limitations to this.

I had fits with the last link I posted. At first it worked fine, then all of a sudden, it quit working. I now have iCloud - iCal syncing, but iCal is read only. Not a real big deal since you can log onto iCloud using Safari and post a new event.
I finally gave up on Address Book because it kept creating multiple contacts, which if you tried to merge or delete the multiple contacts, the contacts were deleted. It also worked at first and then stopped working as it should.
