What USB sources are support on MacOS?

Hi
I've previously posted about MacOS not recognising my mixer - so I can't encode it.
I don't use the built in line audio input because the output of of the mixer is a balanced XLR and I want to have local monitoring / control of the level,EQ and compression.
Does anyone have a list of supported or known working USB audio sources that FMLE will recognise and encode on Mac OS?
Thanks
Andy

I am not sure whether this router will support USB drive of 3 TB.
I think you can try to create partition on the drive and see if that works.

What video cards are supported for os X? besides the one apple sells.

There is no official list from Apple, since they don't support hardware besides what they will install. YOu can look up support for certain cards, since people have used 3rd party ones. YOu should be able to come up with a particular cards compatability.

What video files are supported by iMovie 10.0.6?  What is the best way to allow iMovie 10.0.6 accept my .rcproject movies?

    Hey Sioux Falls,
If you are looking for information on converting or updating older iMovie projects to iMovie 10, you may find the following article helpful:
Update projects and events from previous versions of iMovie in iMovie (2014) - Apple Support
Note: To clarify, a .rcproject file generally only contains links and references to movie clips and effects that would be part of an iMovie project; it usually does not contain any actual video.

Just to avoid confusion - during provisioning, the phone is downloading a configuration from remote server. Phone is client. Provisioning process require a server (HTTP or FTP or TFTP) running somewhere.
You are speaking about browser, not server, so it seems you are speaking about manual configuration of phone, not the provisioning. Even in the case you are speaking about server, you speaking about upgrade of OS, not the provisioning (HTTP/FTP/TFTP) server software. On the other side, you are speaking about "initial profile downloads from Windows 7" asking about browser versions. I'm confused. Can you explain what are you trying to do in more details ?
Something like: "I did A, expecting B as result but C happened".
Debug/log from phone device and/or catched communication between browser and phone and/or phone and provisioning server may help to analyze the problem.

  • What image types are supported in iMovie?

I'm going on a trip with a group of youth, and I'm wanting to send video updates back to their family members during the trip. I've gotten an image to sync to my iPhone 4, and I can import it into iMovie, but while it shows the photo at the bottom, it won't actually show the image in the movie preview area?
Importing photos that were taking on the iPhone works, as does taking a photo directly from iMovie, but I want to add some special graphics into the Movie itself.
Is there a way to tell what formats are supported? The image was made in gimp, 700x300 @ 150dpi exported as a PNG and as a JPG, but neither of them work.

I'm not sure if you tried this, but here it goes:
_ Using your Mac, make a copy of your Graphic / image to your Desktop
_ Launch "Preview" on your Mac
_ Save the file as a JPG
    _ Quit "Preview"
_ Copy this newly saved JPG to "iPhoto"
    _ Quit "iPhoto"
    _ Launch "iTunes"
_ Plug your iPhone4 via USB
_ From "iTunes", select the iPhone4 and go to the Photos Tab.
_ Make sure the Event or Album of the Graphics/iMage you created above, is Checked
    _ Sync your iPhone
Now from your iPhone4, verify that you can add this photo into iMovie.

  • What usb keyboards are compatible with the Intel iMac

Please can someone tell me what USB Apple Keybouards are compatable with the intel Imac
    howard

Some PC keyboards may not work with the Mac. Especially, specialty gaming keyboards will not work with Macs and OS X.  Some PC keyboards are designed to specifically work with newer versions of Windows at that's it!
They may not even work as a basic keyboard, but not entirely sure.
I know for a fact specialty gaming keyboards do not work at all on a Mac because there have been posts here from gamers who tried to use special gaming keyboards and mice and they would not function on a Mac.
If you know anyone with a Mac, ask them if they have a spare Mac keyboard you can try before buying.
    Good Luck!

  • How to determine (in bulk) whether a document has OCR text and what reader versions are supported?

    Help!
I've inherited a task which has spanned many years and which was not well thought out over the transitions.  At least three project teams have scanned and stored tens of thousands of documents to PDF.  What was discovered subsequently was that the project teams did not apply a uniform standard for which versions of Adobe would be supported in each PDF, and that not all documents appear to have been OCR'ed as part of the scan process.
This has resulted in two major problems.  First, PDFs which support all Reader versions are bloated and consuming significant amounts of storage; second, the automated processing tools which depend upon the OCR text are failing once they pass the front and rear cover sheets (which do contain extractable text).  I need to know if there is a way that PDFs can be bulk scanned to determine which Reader versions are supported (say 8.0 to current), and if the OCR'ed / extractable text is not just limited to the first few and last pages of each PDF.
I have been manually fixing individual files with Adobe Acrobat 9.0.  I can force Adobe to re-OCR and save the files, but I would rather not have to re-process the existing bulk that we have unless absolutely necessary.  If I could determine which ones need fixing and just processing those it will save man years of work.
Thanks, in advance, for any assistance.
    Michael

What I meant by supporting a version of Reader is that I don't need the files to be fully backwards compatible all the way back to say the first few versions of Adobe Reader.  (There are likely limitations on that much backwards compatibility, anyway.)  One of the scanners that was used apparently was set for full backwards compatibility, to the extent possible, for every PDF that it generated.  Some of those PDFs are huge, commonly 300-400MBs in size.  If I open them in Acrobat 9.0, limit the backwards compatibility to Adobe Reader 8.0 and forward, then resave the file, the size is often significantly reduced.
As to how it is measured, there is something in the PDF itself that indicates a minimum version for Adobe Reader for compatibility purposes.  When you select for compatibility in Acrobat during the save process I mentioned, you get to pick the version at which you want to stop -- so if you selected 8.0, it would be compatible with 8.0, 9.0, and so on.

  • What photoshop programs are supported by Mac OS X v10.4?

I was hoping to download elements 11, but it's not supported. I don't want lightroom...I'm not really sure what my options are- I'm looking for something as recent to elements 11 as i can... does anyone have any tips?

I think the last versions for that OS are PSE 9 and CS4, respectively. It's a moot point, though. There is no way to buy these versions any more orther than a used license from someone else...

  • What data sources are being used

    Hi,
I am about to create a new Planning application (v9.3.1.1) and we currently have two other Planning applications. When I select Create Application from the administration menu, I can see one Data Source available in the listbox. Does that mean that the data source is currently unused and available, or is it a risk that any of the other planning applications that are already created are using this data source? I tried to see what data source the tw current planning applications are using I could not find that information anywhere.

When you create an application and you see datasources available that should mean they are not currently being used.
You can always edit the datasource and check the database/schema it points to is empty.
    Cheers

  • What file formats are supported on a Mac/Quicktime?

I just need to know what kind of file formats are supported on a mac, or for quicktime on a mac computer. Im trying to make a video from a windows machine work on a mac, but don't know what format to save it in. If anyone could help me out, that would be great!
    --Kourtney

Oh, I was not discounting it's utility for your general 10.4.7 (and higher) users. I can think of several situations where it'd be most advantageous. If the user does have 10.4.7 and has permissions to install Perian, then it's near the top of the list of "things nice to have."
I was just saying that it's generally a good idea to work out everything on the sending end so that all the recipient has to do is open and enjoy. Most of us have had stuff converted to .WMV so that Windows users wouldn't NEED to install QuickTime to see our video, it's the same kind of thinking.
