What version ilife shipped with 10.4?

Hi:
Sorry, searched but couldn't find. I did a clean install and it looks like the ilife apps are older versions. I have iTunes 7.5, iPhoto 5.0.4, Garage Band 2.0.1, iMovie HD 5.0.2, iDvd 5.0.1. Are these iLife '06 apps?
TIA and Happy New Year!

The retail Mac OS X 10.4 package does not include any version of iLife; if you used your computer's original disks to reinstall Mac OS X 10.4, you will have the same iLife version that originally shipped with it, which varies with the model and purchase date.
You have the iLife 05 applications.

    How hard is it to look at the game description to see if it uses GC ??  Virtually all that have scoring do.
    Then again, you never bothered to even look in the App Store to see whether there was a GC section, and spent more time posting here than it would have taken to find out for yourself.

  • What version of Leopard with what version of Logic is MOST STABLE??

    A very simple question really. What version of Leopard, as of now, is the most stable and glitch-free with which version of Logic?? 10.5.1 vs. 10.5.2 vs. L7.2.3 vs. L8.??
    Thanks,

    Leopard 10.5.2 had introduced many problems, I'd say 10.5.1 is therefor the stable (or safer) one.
    As for Logic, I think LP8 as a universal app is more at home with Intel Macs, but otherwise it's not that simple and you can read plenty opinions on this board on both sides.
    I'd still go with LP8, people go back to L7 as last resort when something is not running well.

  • What versions will work with Windows ME?

    I currently have Firefox 1.something on my aging Windows ME system. My e-mail provider recently upgraded and consequently, I need to be using at least verion 2.0 of Firefox. I downloaded the newest version, but get an error after the files have been extracted and the setup starts to run. • What version of iLife shipped with my mid 2011 iMac?

    I want to give the purchaser of my iMac the original iLife disks. Was it version '08?

    If you have the disks, and your Mac came with Lion or later, you have no responsibility to give your iLife disks to the buyer. If you enjoy using the iLife applications, then I'd suggest you keep the disks you have. The new downloadable versions of the so-called iLife 11 are no longer a suite, but three separately downloadable apps which are also purchased separately. The MAS versions do not include iDVD without which you will not be able to burn DVDs. So, it is your decision, but you are not obliged to give the disks to a buyer unless the DVD specifically says that it is a "drop in"; if you have the retail versions, you can keep them.
    Any MAS versions of iLife apps are no longer transferable (just like the OS); they have to be purchased by everypne with their own Apple ID.
    As far as I know, using Internet Recovery (Command, Option, R) does not require using an Apple ID; Apple's servers check the machine for eligibility.

  • What version is compatible with Vista?

    What verion of Adobe Reader is compatible with Vista?

    If you read the Release Notes for 10.x carefully, you will find that the only Windows version that was dropped from support is Windowx XP (in 10.1.12).  Vista is still fully supported.
    Regarding the "crapware": there are a few good alternate PDF viewers out there; the piece of software that you mentioned is not one of them.
    I have tested that software since version 1.0, and each time they sneaked spyware onto my system.  In the first version they didn't even bother to mention it.  In version 2 they gave the user a choice, but installed the spyware anyway, without the possibility to uninstall.  I gave up testing that software after version 4.
    So it's you that needs to use a very good antivirus product.  (Well, everybody should, actually.)

  • What version of java with BI EE ???

    hello there
    I try java 1.5.0_15 and java 1.5.0_10 to work with BI EE, but with the both the dashboard and publisher don't work because they need to load java files(_default.java, _login.java) and in those pages work with JSP servlets. The both files are not compiled.
    may be the problem will be resolved if I install java 1.4.2 ?
    thank you

    The version of java is not the problem. all 1.4.2, 1.5, 1.6 are good.
    I will say another way : oc4j jsp environment. may be the problem is here ?? i will tell you if it is !!

  • What version works best with Windows2000

    I have a PC with 2 GBs of RAM, running W2K, primarily. I had avoided upgrading from the Firefox 3.x.x series ( or 5 ? ) because it was my understanding that it was the last one suitable for Windows2000. Not long ago, I got an automatic robot request from Firefox to update, and tried to make sure it was still within the compatibility range for W2k.
    I thought that I was getting a minor update to a W2K version, but instead, have Firefox 12, which has totally disrupted my internet activity because it constantly bogs down into barely running, or else freezes up for long periods, and frequently crashes.
    I want to roll back to whatever I'd used before this disaster. And if there's any special ways to do that, I want to know how it works. Thanks.
    Kiwi

    You can get Firefox 3.6.28 here:
    * http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
    Be sure to set it so that it will not auto update. In the about:config window, set these items to false:
    * app.update.auto
    * app.update.enabled

  • What version works best with Windows ME? I have V. 2.

    I occasionally get a message about a stuck script. It's a lot better than the constant java errors from Explorer 5.5, but I'd prefer not being interrupted at all.

    The last version that worked on Windows ME was Firefox 2.0.0.20

  • What version of SVNKit can we expect with 11g?

    Hi,
    JDev 11g TP4 uses SVNKit 1.1.4 which does not seem to work with the current version of Subversion Server (1.5.2).
    Error: svn: Malformed Network Data
    The current version of SVNKit is 1.2.0 so the latest JDev plugin is quite behind by a number of versions.
    The only workaround at the moment is to downgrade Subversion server.
    It would be disappointing for the new release of JDev to be shipped with a plug-in that will work with current release of Subversion, will this be the case?
    thanks,
    Brenden

    Brenden,
    I just did a test using JDeveloper 11g drop 6 (which is a build that Ace Directors got for testing, later than TP4, much earlier than 11g r1) - I was able to create a new application, import it into an SVN 1.5.2 repository (via HTTP), make some changes, and commit back to the repository.
    When I use Tools->Preferences->Versioning->Subversion, I see it is using SVNKit 1.1.7 (r4142).
    I do have the SVN Server installed on my laptop, so I went into the svnkit.jar (<jdev_home>/jdev/extensions/oracle.jdeveloper.subversion) and checked the JAR file - it is, in fact, 1.1.7.
    Frank - could I ask you to clarify please (it's actually the reason I originally posted something and then deleted it). I know that JDev 11g is built on a SVN 1.4 client (not a 1.5) - I thought you may be confusing SVNKit version with SVN client version. Drop6 has svnkit 1.1.7, which does appear to work with Subversion 1.5.2 (according to [url http://www.nabble.com/svn:-Malformed-network-data-td16423851.html]this and [url https://svn.svnkit.com/repos/svnkit/tags/1.1.8/changelog.txt]this, it appears 1.1.7 is the first version to work properly with 1.5.x
    I guess we'll find out in the next week or so (or so) what version SVNKit comes with 11g r1 - but it would be awesome if it were 1.1.7 at minimum (like drop 6)

  • Which UIX version ship with Jdev 9.0.3.2 ?

    which UIX version ship with Jdev 9.0.3.2 ?

    We have no experience with this. I advice you to post a question in the JDeveloper forum and see if the JDeveloper Wizard supports UIX 2.1.20, because that is the version of UIX that will be used after you copied the UIX libraries we supply. If not, you should restore the libraries as delivered with JDeveloper.

    Version 2.1.20 is beyond 2.1.7. I don't know what version is delivered with JDeveloper 9.0.3 but I as far as I know, JDeveloper 9.0.4 comes with UIX version 2.1.19.
    I do not think there is that much difference between the UIX version as delivered with JDeveloper and 2.1.20, that you cannot succesfully use the online UIX Developers Guide of JDeveloper. For questions about UIX, please refer to the UIX forum (technologies -> UIX) or the JDeveloper forum.
