What version of GTK+ included in Solaris 10?

I'm with a team that's evaluating upgrading from Solaris 9 4/04 to Solaris 10. One of the issues that we need to examine is GTK compability between Solaris 9 and Solaris 10.
I can't locate any specific reference to the GTK+ version included with JDS in Solaris 10 (Solaris 9 4/04 is 2.1.0).
Would someone with Solaris 10 installing mind checking the version of the GTK+ toolkit that's installed?
Thanks!

I need the specific version # as determined by doing:
pk-config --modversion gtk+-2.0
For example, the version reported in our Solaris 9 install is 2.1.0.

  • What version of iTunes include Quick time version 7.6.2 or earlier

I am having problems with another important program because the newest versions of iTunes which includes Quick time won't allow the other program to work correctly.
I need to know what older version of iTunes include Quicktime Version 7.6.2 or earlier so that I can download that version? Will that version work with Windows 64 bit?

I'm not precisely sure, but I think that the last 8.x version of iTunes (8.2.1) was the last one that could run with a 7.6.2 or lower.
One way to check to make sure that an iTunes 8.2.1 installer contained a QT 7.6.2 or less would be to expand the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) into a folder using the free trial version of WinRAR, and then check the version number of the QuickTime.msi in the folder.

  • What is the cpu architeture of solaris version of BPEL bundle, x86 or SPARC

    Hello,
I'd like to know what is the cpu architeture of solaris version of BPEL bundle, x86 or SPARC located here: http://download.oracle.com/otn/solaris/ias/1012/as_sun_bpel_101200.cpio
The file is more than 400Mb in size, so I need to know before downloading.
    Thanks.

    hi,
are there any plans to release it for x86 (32 bit) platform. I'm also interested in testing beta versions of oracle software (specifically bpel, jdeveloper) on solaris 10 x86 platform, is there any beta CD available for these purposes?
    thanks.

  • What different of all version of jdk(include j2sdk)

    hi everyone:
I have developed an application. But there are some other applications worked with our application. And these applications are written by java, and compiled and run by different version of jdk(or j2sdk) correspondingly. And these applications are B/S structure, the browser is IE. The situation is: if one version of jre is selected for IE, this application can run normally, but others may not run normally.
    So it puzzle me.
    I have 2 problems:
    1. How to detect the current version of JRE(including SUN JVM and microsoft JVM) with IE?
    2. What different of all version of jdk(include j2sdk)? Or where can i find the related document of the different?

I'm not sure if you want to programatically detect the VM version or just be able to see what version it is. You could go to Internet Explorer's Advanced Tab and see what version is being used. If you want to detect or change it programatically, the only way I can think of is to change the windows registry entry (you'll need to verify this, I'm not sure this is the right key) in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AdvancedOptions\JAVA_SUN\SELECT and change the Value of RegPath to the one you want. The JVMs can be found at http://java.com/en/index.jsp. You can also search Microsoft's website for JVM information.

  • Javax.transaction.UserTransaction --- what version of jta is included in 4.5.1 (sp8)

I have a problem with another vendor also include the javax.transaction
    package in their jar file.
When compiling, the one included in the weblogicaux.jar is picked up and our
extension to this thrid pary product fails because the UserTransaction
method signatures are different in weblogicaux.jar than the one this thirty
    party expects.
I check the online doc in JDC and looks like our third party tool looks for
the correct signature for the JTA 1.0.1 --
while weblogic has an older(?) version of API?
    Here is the error:
    MySessionBean.java:0: The method void setTransactionTimeout(int)
    declared in class
com.fame.timeiq.persistence.Connection cannot override the method of the
    same signature declared in interface
    javax.transaction.UserTransaction. Their throws clauses are
    incompatible.
    My question is:
    1. to work around the problem, we put the third party jar file infront of
the weblogic classes. Are there issues I should watch out for?
    2. What version of JTA is included in weblogic 4.5.1?
    3. Checking weblogicaux.jar, it includes both javax.jts.UserTransaction and
javax.transaction.UserTransaction. Where is the latter used?

I do not know if there will be a problem. Are you also pursuing this issue
through technical support? I asked because I received this same question
from our technical support people today as well.

  • What versions of Solaris should we support?

What versions of Solaris are officially supported by Sun? I notice that there are patches available for older versions but the compiler tools are not supported on these platforms.
We would like to drop support for 2.6 and possibly 7 but only if Sun no longer supports these versions.

Well, if you are asking what supported Solaris OS that compiler tools will run on, here is the link:
    http://developers.sun.com/tools/cc/support/support_matrix.html
However, if you are asking what versions of Solaris Sun support, you will need to ask the marketing or try 'Solaris OS' on http://forum.sun.com/
    Thanks.

  • What version of LabVIEW first included Bundle by Name and Unbundle by Name?

What version of LabVIEW first included Bundle by Name and Unbundle by Name?
    Allen Weekley

I am auditing software that was originally written a long time ago by someone who is long gone from the company. In a discussion of this, someone offered the theory that Unbundle by Name did not exist in LabVIEW 4.0 as an excuse for one aspect of the poor programming style. I couldn't remember for sure if LabVIEW 3.0 had Unbundle by Name. The question was merely academic.
There was at one time a chart comparing features of different LabVIEW versions somewhere on the NI web site. Anyone know where it is located, if it is still there?

  • How do you determine what version of  the Darwin Kernel, iOS 4.3.3 uses in iPod Touch?

I tried looking this up in "Settings" > "General" > "About" but it doesn't give me this information.
Someone told me that he has Darwin Kernel 11.0.0 for his iPod Touch running iOS 4.3.3, but his iPod Touch is jailbroken. My iPod Touch isn't jailbroken, and I want to know what version of Darwin Kernel it is running. On Wikipedia, someone documented that the Darwin Kernel 11 begins with iOS 5--for a jailbroken iOS 5 device. I find this odd if my buddy has Darwin Kernel 11.0.0 for his device running iOS 4.3.3. Well, as all intelligent people know, we can't trust Wikipedia completely.

  • What version  of iphoto to download from EOS 20D

What version of iphoto or what software do I need to download images from my EOS 20 D Canon camera onto my computer? I currently have iphoto 2.

    Hi, kgaynes.
Will iphoto 2 support 20D EOS cameras?
Change the Image Capture pref to open iPhoto instead of PS CS, and find out. I don't know the answer, not having a 20D or iP 2 myself.
Have you installed Canon's proprietary software that came with the 20D? There may be a driver included in that software bundle that's required for your camera to talk to your Mac via USB.
It is possible, as you suggest, that iPhoto 2 doesn't support the significantly newer 20D. But if you change the Image Capture setting and install the software that Canon supplied, you should be able to find out whether or not that's true in fairly short order.

  • What version is this?

Hello, I just inherited a solaris box (industrial machine controller).
    cpu0: SUNW, UltraSPARC-IIi (440mhz)
    SunOS Release 5.6 Version Generic_105181-17 (UNIX(R) System V Release 4.0)
Drive is a 20gb and it has 256mb ram
What version of SunOS is this?
On the sun.com site under documents are Solaris 7,8,9,10 and SunOS up to 2.6 ?
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/prod/solaris
I am very proficient with Linux and in the past have used HPUX and SCO but not Sun. So thought I might want to get some more information.

Its "Solaris 2.6", after that they droped the "2." in the naming, so what should have been "Solaris 2.7" was simply renamed to "Solaris 7".
Solaris 2.6 is a very ancient OS.
Since its a 440MHz CPU it should be able to run the latest Solaris 10 release.
    .7/M.

  • What version of Itunes is the best one for m4a encoding?

What version of Itunes is the best one for m4a encoding?

In that all versions of iTunes support ripping or converting to .m4a (both AAC and Apple Lossless) and in that the latest version is likely to included bug fixes and optimisations, I would say the answer is always going to be the latest version.
An area where there maybe a need to consider using an older version is that older versions of Windows are no longer supported by the latest versions of iTunes. For example Windows 2000 is no longer supported but Windows XP and later still are.

What version of Windows Office will work for my OS X 10.5.8, and also what is the most updated browser available for my system?

Sorry for my typo. Ofice 2008 will continue to run on Leopard and Leopard includes Safari 5.0.6. A G4 s an old machine and you will not get much speed when surfing the internet.
Leopard is no longer avilable from Apple, and costs around $200 on eBay or Amazon.

  • What version I should set in ZXP package manifest to support PS CC 2014?

Previously (before PS CC 2014) I had this in manifest.xml file:
    <Host Name="PHXS" Version="[14.0,14.9]" />
    <Host Name="PHSP" Version="[14.0,14.9]" />
It no longer works with PS CC 2014 - ExtensionManager says that I don't have supported version of PS (for PS CC 2014).
    So I changed it to:
    <Host Name="PHXS" Version="[2014.0,2014.9]" />
    <Host Name="PHSP" Version="[2014.0,2014.9]" />
But still ExtensionManager does not allow me to install extension for the same reason...
What version range should be included in package to support PS CC 2014?

Ask in the deployment/ extensions forums or check the dev center pages. I have no idea what the current requirements are.

    Hello friends
I was wondering what version of xcode may be installed on a powerpc PowerBook G4 laptop with Mac OS X 10.4.11. What version would work on it? Where may I find it? I use the X11 package a lot.
    Thanks a lot!

You can download it for free from the Apple Developer Connection web site, but you have to have a membership. Go to this page:
    http://developer.apple.com/products/
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and the bottom right choice is the free online membership. Once you're signed up, you can log in and Download the Xcode tools. There will probably be several to choose from, including Xcode 3 and Xcode 2.5, so make sure you get the right one.
