What version of windows is compatible with Photoshop 12.1 x32

I currently have Photoshop 12.1 x32 running on Windows 7 Home Premium
This computer is shot, so I need to buy a new one.  Should I stick to Windows 7, or can I go with 7 or 8 depending on what I find. I will not be upgrading to CS6 anytime soon, so I need to stick with my current Adobe Suite for now...
Thanks!

Thanks, I saw that link. I also have the link for just Photoshop specs: Release notes | Photoshop CS5.1. I did not ask for a link to system requirements... but I am very glad you could do it in only three seconds with your goggles.
Perhaps I should rephrase my question.
Should I buy Windows 7 again, OR can I go with Windows 8.  I DO SEE that Adobe specs says Windows 7. Has anyone successfully run Photoshop CS5 on Windows 8?
Google shows me people who have failed, and people who installed it without problems. I have come to ADOBE to ask an ADOBE question...
If anyone in the Adobe Community would like to assure me that CS5 will run on Windows 8, I would greatly appreciate it.

It won't mess up anything.  The preference file contains the preferences you set in iDVD such as this:
Follow this to delete the iDVD preference file:
1 - delete the IDVD preference file, com.apple.iDVD.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete IDVD'S cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your

  • Where can I find what versions of software are compatible with Yosemite? ie. Logic Express, Microsoft Office, iTunes etc

    Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a new iMac, however I am concerned some current software will not be compatible with it and I'll lose files etc. For example all my music files for Logic Express 8.
    I am currently running:
    Mac OS X version 10.6.8,
    iTunes 11.4,
    iPhoto 7.1.5,
    Logic Express 8.0.2,
    Microsoft Word/Excel etc. is 12.3.6.
These are the most used applications so I want to limit any losses from these if I were to get a new iMac.
Any support with this, and on how to transfer files to a new iMac would be very much appreciated.
    Thank you.

  • What version of iDVD is compatible with OS X 10.7.04?

I'd like to know when iLife updates are needed. My software update prompts don't say when iDVD needs Updating.  It's confusing.  The iMovie version (9.0.4) indicates I can publish to iDVD (6.0.4).  But when I attempt to share to iDVD, a message pops up telling me the OS and iDVD version are incompatible.  Who knows the fix?

iDVD 7.1.2 is compatible with Lion.  You can get iDVD 7 by purchasing the boxed iLife 11 or 09 disc from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com: iLife 11 and running the 7.1.2 updater on it.

  • What version of 10GiAS is compatible with Integration B2B & BPEL

I believe Oracle is going to release 10gr3 (10.1.3.1) release of Middleware which is bundled as SOA suite along with other suites BPA/EDA etc
We were told earlier that 10.1.3 is not compatible with Integration B2B as B2B needs 10.1.2 BPEL Designer.
Can someone throw light if 10.1.3.1 will have all-components compatible to each other including B2B/BPEL/WSM/ESB products

I saw in the AS certification sheet that B2B is certified for Itanium-2 servers running Windows2003, but not for Itanium-2 running HP-Ux. Being a J2EE application this is a strange difference: it runs within AS1012, but only on certain combinations of CPU / OS....
I would expect B2B to run under AS1012 on an Itanium-2 Ux platform anyway. Is there anyone who uses this combination? Is there some guidance from Oracle regarding not-certified combinations of CPU/OS and AS/B2B?

  • What version of iDVD is compatible with Lion?

I am concerned about the reviews of iLife 11 and would rather not upgrade to that right now but want access to iDVD. Is there a newer version besides in iLife 11 that I can use. I have version 6.04 and it won't work with Lion.

  • What versions of firefox are compatible if any with windows 8?

every version of firefox i try to install crashes which versions if any are compatible with windows 8?

We're sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to be crashing when you open it. Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.
#Press the following shortcut to get a Run window: [Windows] + [R]. This should bring up a window that contains a text field.
#In that text field, enter %APPDATA% and press Enter. An explorer window should open.
#From that explorer window, double-click on the ''Mozilla'' folder, then double-click on ''Firefox'' and then on ''Crash reports''. Double-click on ''submitted''.
#Now, you should see a list of files that contain reports. Go to ''View'' > ''Arrange Icons by'' > ''Modified'' to get the most recent files at the top of the window.
#Open the most recent 5 files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
#Paste each ID with '''bp-''' into the reply window on the forums.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Cereskit
Thanks again for the message. I've done the updates and have the App Store on my desktop. I went into it and searched for imovie but couldn't find the basic imovie, which I presume is what I'd need for editing?, rather than imovie 11 for £10.49, which is for making trailers, it seems. Also, were you saying that imovie would be free?
