Apparantly it is, On My Mac contacts don't appear in iCloud, anywhere.
Put all your contacts on all of your devices in iCloud (assuming that's where you want them to be)
Go to www.icloud.com, login and see what you actually have in the account. -
I want to upgrade iOS from 5 to 6, but when I go to synch everything in preparation, it tells me I will lose all my stuff on the iPhone and iPad which is/are unique. How can I backup or do a "real synch" (both sides have same data at end of process) and then upgrade?
You should really read the manual.

Restore. When given the choice, choose to use backup.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer. -

This is not a matter of whether or not it's a "big deal" or not, it is up to the individual to decide for themselves what they will and will not tolerate. Apple's continued silence is only making matters worse. They need to say SOMETHING.Android does the same thing.

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

I did my homework and discovered that my PowerPC will run Leopard. It can be purchased for $129 by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE. This is much cheaper than replacing my laptop.
I hope to upgrade my Mac soon, though! Can't believe this thing is still ticking. I love Apple. -

You can use your iPad charger to charge your iPhone 4S. Not recommended to use your iPhone charger to charge your iPad. So, use your iPad charger to charge both.

However, the reminders in ical on the COMPUTER is difficult to work with - thin long column on the right rather than in it's own screen. is there a reminders app for the COMPUTER that is more user friendly?

Since we downloaded the latest version of iOS on our iPad and iPhone, and synchronized our music collection in the Cloud, we can no longer see on our iPad and iPhone the music from our CD's that we have on our home computer's iTunes library. We can only see music in the iPhone and iPad library that have been purchased on iTunes. How can we get all our music from our computer's iTunes librbary visible on the iPhone and iPad? Is there an app or way that you can take a single frame out of a video shot on the iPhone and use it as a picture?
I don't know if there is an app, but you can take a snapshot of the video. I do this all the time. You just need to hold down the power and home key once and it will take a snapshot.

i can't download or update free apps on my ipad or iphone. i can log in to my i-store account on my laptop and download stuff. when i try on the iphone or ipad i keep getting apple ID disabled message. i had to enter in my account and new password to get to this community site so the password is working. but when i enter the updated password on the iphone or ipad i keep getting...apple ID disabled. thanks
When you try to update the app, is the Apple ID that comes up the same as the Apple ID in Settings>iTunes & App Store?
