Hey everyone! I have removed all but two charge-offs and am paying monthly payments on one of those(Springleaf). My credit score is still terrible....a whopping 505....but, by removing 4 charge-offs it brought it up 36 points. It was 469. Gotta start somewhere. Lol. I have been reading about the shopping cart trick and wanted to ask y'all what was your credit score at when you succeeded? I have two judgments that I will file a Motion to Vacate this fall when I have them paid in full. Thank you very much. :-)

There is some sound effect every time I wake the MBP up from sleep. I am not sure what is making that sound. It sound like "pffft", I hope that makes sense.

Hi I hve the same problem mi MacBook Pro doeas that, the sound that makes is the one I have for default, Funk (for example if my computer sleeping with the screen open and I press any key on the keybord it makes that sound) if you want you can try this, to chek if that is the sound that you heare, close all the windows and try to use expose.
remember the sound that you are going to heare is the one that you have for default.
Another thing is that I re-instal the OS and the computer stops from doing that but then start again when I eject my iPod from the finder window but I left it conected from the USB and then when the computer was sleeping I desconected it.
I know that maybe nothing of this can help you but I want to let you know that you are not alone.
If you found the fix for that thing please let me know.

If you paid for OS 10.8 at any time, you can get it again at no cost from the App store. You will need to use the same Apple id that you used for the purchase.

What happens to your copying files when you cancel the copy?

I was part way through a large copy of over 10GB and had to cancel and now I dont want the already copied portion to secretly fill up my hard drive.

as a rule, any completed portions of the transfer will be in their intended destination. if you are copying across file systems (volumes) and the volume unmounts, you'll sometimes get a folder of junk in /Volumes.

Is it possible to load pictures directly from your computer to your ipad. When I loaded the camera pictures onto the computer, re ordered them and fixed some, I then tried to move them to the ipad. It does not allow me to paste the copied file.

Is it possible to load pictures from a computer to your ipad. When modified my camera pictures and reordered them, I was unable to load them to the ipad. I could copy but not paste. If I reinstalled them on the memory card, the ipad did not recognize them.

The iPad can be pretty picky.
One way, if you sync your iPad to your computer, is to use iTunes to 'sync' the photos onto the iPad. Of course that has the downside of if you sync them on you have to use iTunes to sync them off.
Or you can download the iCloud control panel and use photostream to put the photos onto your iPad. WHen you install the iCloud panel and enable photo stream it'll put a folder on your computer. Import photos into that folder and they'll go onto your iPad (they do transfer via wifi so it's not exactly an instant thing, might take a few minutes depending on your network and file size.
Or, if you have a few, you can e-mail them to yourself, open that mail on your ipad and save them from there.
Or, to use the camera kit, you can import htem onto your iPad, but the camera connection kit requires a very specific naming protocol. There must be a folder named DCIM on your memory card, and then all files on that card must be in that folder and have a name of 8 characters. If you follow the naming convention, once you plug the memory card in the iPad will see it and allow you to import the photos.
there are also third party photo apps I just dont' have any to recommend.
One more thing to bear in mind, even if you rename the files, the ipad persists in organizing the photos by date, so I'd experiment and make sure it doesn't totally rearrange your files before you spend a lot of time on it. (third party apps may respect the name of the photo and organize it that way rather than by date first, then name)

Hi all, I am making this post to explain the shopping cart trick. The shopping cart trick is from what i gathered mostly comenity bank cards. (not all of them) Go to there store, add items into your cart, go check out and put in your info (as it appears on your credit report)If that store approves you, you will recieve a pop up (or maybe a new screen) which says you are pre approved. It will have your brief info and ask you to type in your last 4 digits of your social. Some stores will say how much you are approved on the pop up (some dont) PLEASE READ THIS= -PRE APPROVAL- (which is what i am talking about) is when it says you have been PRE APPROVED (again might say amount) and asks you to ONLY TYPE IN LAST 4 DIGITS OF SOCIAL- this is what you want if you do not want it to show up on your credit report -PRE QUALIFY- this is when you have to bascially fill out a app. (type in more then the last 4 digits of social) THIS WILL SHOW UP ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT AS IT IS A HARD PULL i see many people who think they are the same.. THEY ARE NOT! not everyone will get the pre approval. If you dont, you can try in a week or maybe you need to opt in (google opt in/opt out) it is a site where you can choose whether you want to recieve offers of credit ect. You can get these cards via SP but you will still take a ding to your AAoA for the new account (although depending on your credit profile, this may not have a huge effect). Hope this helps.

Considering Adobe dont (sic) even make Flash Player for iPads, this seems about right. How can you download something that does not exist?

I tried exporting my film, but it wouldn't export. So, then I tried rendering all of the clips. However, as soon as I did that, it said that the project itself was offline. Yet when you go into the actual project itself, you can play the whole timeline.

My girlfriend had a similar issue because her new device was not updated to IOS7 when she turned it on, but her backup point was created using IOS7. Check to be sure the restore point was created and then factory reset the phone after you have updated to 7.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You don't need to do anything, you have chosen to back up to iCloud instead of iTunes.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.
