What/where does VideoDisplay load into?

When VideoDisplay loads an FLV, where does it go? Into
memory? Onto the local filesystem somewhere?
I've got an app that loads an 80Mb FLV but the memory usage
of the browser (Firefox) doesn't seem to climb, and I don't see any
evidence of disk space being used in the shared objects directory
or in the Firefox directory associated with the profile I'm using.
The app listens for progress events and shows progress, and I
can seek around in the video, so I'm pretty sure it's all getting
loaded.
Any ideas?

Progressive download FLV content is cached by the browser.
Video streams from Flash Media Server are not cached. You may not
see it in your cache until it is fully downloaded. Then you can
leave the browser open and go to your cache folder to find
it.

Iphoto does not load into iDVD- too many photos?

Recently upgraded to Leopard 10.5.6 and iLife '09. Ever since, iPhoto will not load into iDVD (iphoto 8.0 and iDVD 7.0.3). When trying to open current and new projects in iDVD, the project opens, and plays, but the photos from iPhoto never load, the loading icon just spins on and on. When I open a new document, the same thing happens. Tried trashing preferences in both programs, reinstalling iLife, and reparing permissions. All software updates are current. Still won't work.
I am starting to wonder if it has to do with the number of photos I have in iPhoto, which is about 4000. The photos loaded with no problem until I upgraded. Could it be that the upgrades in iPhoto just make the files too large, and it's too much to expect that many photos to load? Does anyone know how many photos is too many,— or can you suggest anything I have not tired that might work?

This is from Mac Help. It is a good idea to create another account to use in troubleshooting situations such as this. After you create the new account, open iDVD from that account. Try creating a small project to see if you are having the same problems. Post back with your results.
_Adding a new user account to your computer_
You can create individual user accounts for each person who uses your computer. Each new user has a separate home folder and can adjust his or her own preferences without affecting other users.
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click Accounts.
If some settings are dimmed, click the lock icon and type an administrator name and password.
Click Add and type the user's name.
If you don't want to use the short name generated automatically, type a new short name. (Once the account is created, you won't be able to change the short name.)
Type the user's password in the Password and Verify boxes.

Sata controller firmware..... where does it load?

I was hoping to be able to boot from one of 2 drives on my Mac Pro, one with 10.6.3 and one with 10.5.3 so that I can use 2 versions of Retrospect, so that I can retrieve from older tapes and the old version will not work on SL.
But I just realized that the new firmware for sata controllers seems to be for SL only. Does the firmware load into the hardware or run as a driver and load with the OS?
I have a couple generic esata controller cards and an addonics controller card, which I'm hoping to use either the SI firmware or others.
At this point I'm still stuck with 10.5.8 and just trying to figure out a way to migrate to SL.
any thoughts would be appreciated.

Retrospect is working on a beta version that will allow you to rebuild the previous version 6.x tape catalogs, which is a long and tedious process. So I was hoping to simply reboot into 10.5.8 and retrieve files when and if needed. Also, tapes previous to 6.x are only promised to be retrieved in the future.
I'm still using 10.5.8 because Retro 6.x won't run under SL. It's a bit of a catch 22, especially when you mix in the esata host problems under SL.
I think that the Sonnet tech eSata cards work with port multipliers and with SL and earlier OS..... I hope

Why Does CS3 load into Program Files (x86) in Vista 64bit

I built a computer with Vista 64bit. All my CS3 files loaded into Prpogram Files (x86). Doesn't that mean they will only run at 32bit?

PrPro will probably not be 64-bit, until CS5, if then. Now, only Photoshop CS4 is a 64-bit app.
Judging from some of the questions in the recent Adobe poll, it appears that 64-bit for PrPro is at least a consideration.

Where does SRTCM fit into preparing ABAP for Hana?

I've seen and heard mention of transaction SRTCM (Runtime Check Monitor), to run in Production for one or two weeks to go alongside static code checks. I'm a little confused on how this fits into preparing our code for Hana though.
If we use ATC/Code Inspector with the 'FUNCTIONAL_DB' and 'PERFORMANCE_DB' variants and then the SQL Monitor in Production, these are then plugged into transaction SWLT to provide a focused list on what we need to work on. SRTCM, however, does not seem to fit into this picture. There doesn't seem to be a way of plugging it into SWLT (unless I'm missing something?). Or is it meant as a stand alone tool?
We're on SAP_BASIS 740, SP8, in case that makes the difference.

you are right, SRTCM is not integrated into SWLT. You can use it as standalone tool. But it is an additional source of information to find critical places in source code. You can also export SRTCM information from an productive system and import it into an development system.

From where data is loaded into BW

BW takes data from R/3. Where In R/3 this data is present? Is it transfer sturcture which contains all the data which to be transfered to BW?

There is no one line answer for this question. For generic datasources the data is obtained from the base tables which hold the data (Ex: MARA, KNA1, VBRP etc).
For LO cokcpit extractors, the delta records are pulled in from Delta queue (R/3) into BW. Where as for these same extractors when you do a full load, the data is obtained from setup tables (which have the same structure as your datasource).
For some business content datasources (like in FI module), the data is directly fetched from base tables (no setup table concept here).
Hope this leads the way for further understanding of the whole BW concept of data extraction.
All in all, a transfer structure is simply a grouping of logically related fields and will not have any data in it.

Application loader wants a 'hosted content package', but does not accept a package created by PackageMaker? What exactly does App Loader want?

Am attempting to create an in-app purchase with a few files embedded. It appears that the hosted content selection would be what I need, yet Application loader is not accepting a .pkg (or .mpkg) that PackageMaker has created after I loaded the files into PM. What am I missing?

I have the same problem. Apparently PackageManager is for creating bundles for the Mac and not for in-app purchases.
Im just about to quit on host the in-app purchase on apple and just creating my own server for that. Its very frustrating because there´s no documentation on how to create a iOS in app package. In the application Loader documentation is assumed that the package is already created.

2) Opend Safari with Apple default page and the first cookie was of course Apple.com
3) mzstatic.com quickly showed up fallowed by domaintools.com without me doing anything.
4) I went to the forums and signed in which prompted edgekey.net to download.
somehow google got in there too. I think from just clicking on the google box in the top rh corner.
Does this sound normal? Who's MZSTATIC ? I googled before the last cookie removal and discoverd they are associated with Apple.

SmoothCam does not load into clip

Although previously posted, it was never answered.
I have viewed the FCP6 tutorial on how to add the SmoothCam FX plug-in into a clip. And although I followed the instructions diligently, nothing happens: no processing window, no effects plug-in in the browser, nada. Help, please.

Reading your post about SmoothCam prompted me to find it and use it to smooth some scenes taken on a journey the old train in Majorca.
This is the first first time I have used it.
I went to "help" in FCP, typed SmoothCam and it appeared.
A red rectaganol appeared around the clip in the CANVAS window with a yellow bar reading "analysing majorca April 08 estimated time eleven minutes".
So I let it run and the result was a much smoother clip.

Resource bundle question, where does it fit into package structure?

I have a resource bundle but am getting an exception that says my resource bundle is not found (base type) of my OS local. I am not sure why.

Just some thaughts I would like to get opinions on. I felt I would create different bundles for Exception messages, and GUI text. I even go as far as creating a different bundle for each application mode, one for each different window(server, network, standalone). I want to know if I should let each of these classes call their respective bundle or should I let one class provide access to all resource bundles? Which is more favourable? I only ask because I have a application constants class that I am recoding and I could "convert it" to open the needed bundle properties file for the appropriate Strings?

Also you can log a case for support by going to the Help and Support tab on the SAP website, then click on Report A Product Error to log a case for support. Just make sure to choose BOJ-EIM-COM for the component when logging a case for DeskTop Mailer or Business Edition.
Steve is correct.... we are aware of the slow speed issue with address correction when using DPV and LACS in DeskTop Mailer and Business Edition 7.90. Rev 4 should be out by the end of this week. This will correct the speed issue. Please make sure to have the auto update option turned on in the software so you get this update.

Where does SAP do inserts to table SOFFPHF ?

Table SOFFPHF has data in the customer's system.
But when I do a "where-used" on this table, I only get back the two places
that I'm using it.
Where the heck is SAP doing updates to this table ?
I think that "where-used" doesn't find it because it's being accessed like this somewhere:
SELECT ... FROM ( filetab) ...
INSERT .... ( filetab) ....
etc.
But where does SAP insert into it?

Why does Firefox upgrade 3.6.10 load into "F" which is old "C" drive?

Windows XP, SP3, IE 8 rarely used. When I added ROM (I think, it looks like a comb) to this computer 5 years ago, changed "C" drive to "F" drive. Is it normal for new upgrades of Firefox to load into that damaged drive? I never noticed before and when I ask it to load into "C", it insists in loading into "F". Could this be the reason my computer keeps locking up and is slower than molasses?

5 years ago the Firefox installer was different than what is being used now, so Firefox should have been installed to the C:\ drive at some point since then, unless you purposely installed it to a non-default location. Let's see where is is installed.
Right-click the shortcut icon you use to launch Firefox and select Properties.
Then copy the '''Target''' line using {Ctrl + C} on the keyboard, that line should already be highlighted so all you have to do is hit {Ctrl + C} - and Paste it into a Text program, like Notepad using {Ctrl + V}.
Is that file path - '''"C:\Program Files\Mozilla\Firefox\firefox.exe"''' or is it '''"F:\''something or other''\Firefox\firefox.exe"''' - ??
